Without a doubt, one of the best clones or inspirations of Arabian Tonka. It has something that hooks me more than the original, I think it’s that blend of chocolate and rose.
I’ve tried several inspirations and clones of Arabians Tonka and I have to say this is the best, without a doubt. Other brands try to soften its opulence to make it easier to wear, but that takes away the essence of Montale’s original. Khadlaj does something admirable: it maintains the potency, character and richness without losing elegance. While Zimaya with Taraf Black smells good but fails on performance, here Khadlaj hits the nail on the head, balancing scent and longevity with impressive fidelity. I strongly recommend it for those looking to save money without compromising on quality or presence.
Wearing it for over a month now, I can confirm it’s a proper beast: longevity, projection and sillage are out of this world. It behaves with elegance but without pretension, casual and timeless; it doesn’t matter if you’re 15 or 70, everyone notices it. The sugar note is brilliant—it smells like real burnt sugar, nothing synthetic, and although it’s not declared, it’s definitely there. The notes are very well balanced and have really surprised me.
