If there’s anything in my collection that will have a permanent place, it’s Khair Pistachio. What about the price? What can I say? I think commercial houses are pulling our legs with these cologne splashes…
This perfume has nothing to envy from Kayali; to me, it’s much sweeter and creamier. It’s a very good alternative as well as being economical, offering good performance and a gorgeous bottle. Of all the Arabian perfumes, this would be the one I’d repeat because it’s different, original, delicious, and edible. I adore it and recommend it heaps.
It has a loud opening; the bergamot stands out there. Approximately after 15 minutes, it fades away and the next notes open up; in my opinion, the ones that stand out most are marshmallow, tonka bean, hazelnut, and some fruit. As a comment, a colleague told me it ‘smelled like a cake’. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have great longevity or lasting sillage; this might be due to a lack of maceration. Overall, it has a very pleasant aroma, both for her and others, but if the longevity doesn’t improve over time, then no matter how rich it is, it wouldn’t be worth it… It’ll be for later.
I’m a huge fan of sweet and gourmand scents, and this is neither similar to a pistachio ice cream… honestly, I don’t perceive anything creamy or sweet. It seems like a sharp fragrance, smelling like shower gel or shampoo; I detect bergamot and pear, and a hint of vanilla and some fruit in the dry-down… but nothing of that sweet, dessert-like gourmand. I bought it blind and, as is, I’m selling it back.
It has a powerful fruity opening, then as it dries down, the vanilla and pistachio emerge, making it creamier. I perceive the same vanilla base as Bharara King but with the pistachio note that sets it apart. Ideal for mild or fresh days, with casual, informal attire, or dates.
I saw so many reviews on TikTok and Instagram and decided to buy it blind because they said it was the dupe for Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato. It’s 100% true! I wore it for several days in different conditions to give an honest opinion. The Kayali version has a slightly stronger projection at first compared to Khair. Khair is just a bit sweeter and creamier than Kayali. Khair also has that citrus note in the opening that Kayali has, so initially the scent is almost identical. They differ more in the dry-down, and both have similar longevity of 4 to 5 hours. If I had to guess which was which, honestly, I wouldn’t know. If I had to keep just one, I’d choose Khair. The price is madness for what you get; the quality is excellent and the bottle is gorgeous.
Not for me. It’s dry and heavy, reminding me of neither pistachio nor ice cream. Nothing refreshing, nothing youthful, nothing summery, nothing appetising. It has a dark sweetness, like burnt caramel. I hate it, and I’m a huge sweet tooth.
These days I’ve been testing decants of Arabian perfumes, and this one has taken me back to my teenage years; it reminds me of Beyoncé’s Pulse. The floral notes on my skin are quite noticeable, not as much as the sweet ones, and it smells very similar.
It’s a unique scent! Very sweet, with excellent longevity and sillage, superb value for money. I’m new to Arabian perfumes and, honestly, I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
Honestly, I have no regrets about the 100ml of Yum Pistachio Gelato after being let down by that other perfume. People say they’re identical, but they aren’t a jot: neither do they smell the same nor project alike. It’s not that it’s a bad fragrance or lacks the same DNA (it certainly has that), it’s just not as similar as everyone claims. Another social media fallacy. To me, this one is sweeter, drier, heavier, with more hazelnut and a mentholated dry-down. The other is more floral, juicy, vibrant, creamy, balanced, and has that citrus touch that makes it special. One doesn’t replace the other; if you’re after something cloyingly sweet, syrupy, nutty with fewer florals and a linear evolution, you might prefer Khair. I wear them together because this one, despite lasting less on skin (even though everyone says the opposite), stays in my hair for days. To Caesar what belongs to Caesar.
I found it soapy, unisex and pleasant, like pistachio ice cream once it dries down, although the opening is strange. It’s for daytime use, very casual, nothing serious or interesting for me.
Delicious and it lasts a long time. The whipped milk note stands out and leaves me smelling like dessert all day, it stays 6 to 8 hours close to the skin. I haven’t tried it in the heat, spring has just started here.
I’m not sure if my sense of smell is failing, but I detect a mentholated, soapy scent, like pine deodorant. It’s very odd. But once the opening passes, it stays gourmand and vanilla. I wouldn’t recommend it for blind buys.
First pistachio, then cardamom and a sweet vanilla like ice cream. But there’s always that cashew nut note, somewhat neutral. It’s a beauty. If you’re looking for something different for your collection, it’s this one.
The opening is strange, almost like detergent, but it evolves and is worth it. It smells of pistachio and nuts, and once it settles it becomes very sweet. It’s original and versatile, I wear it to the gym. I recommend it, although the longevity is short.
The aroma is delicious; it smells a bit like food at first but then passes and becomes creamy pistachio; sometimes it reminds me of Britney’s Fantasy (I don’t know why). The downside is that it didn’t even last two hours on clothes, I’ll let it rest and hope it improves.
It’s very much like Affection, just fresher and more feminine rather than unisex. Its longevity is very poor; I thought it would last longer on the skin. It’s not particularly cheap and, to be honest, it’s not much of a fragrance.
It’s very similar to Affection but fresher and it doesn’t last long on my skin.
It has a citrusy opening, but once it dries down it smells like soapy, lovely pistachio ice cream. It has a weak trail, however, it lasts more than four hours close to the skin. Very nice for the gym or straight after a shower.
The scent is rich, though it feels a bit more masculine than feminine; I’ve tried it and absolutely loved it, so I’d probably buy it for myself as I adore gourmand fragrances. After all, aren’t perfumes for everyone? It starts with a citrus note but within minutes smells like pistachio ice cream. Very delicious, unfortunately it doesn’t last long; after an hour or so the pistachio fades into a creamy, sweet scent, like a cake. It remains gourmand until the very end. I found it very good.
Wow, this perfume opens with bergamot and hazelnuts, then the pistachio comes out. It’s totally unisex and super delicious.
I think it’s a perfume for daily use. I like it and I’ll buy it again, but it’s more of a personal scent as it doesn’t project much trail. I imagine it for cold days, indoors.
Khair Pistachio by Paris Corner is a true gem within the world of gourmand perfumes. From the first spray, there’s a delightful freshness that blends perfectly with its creamy pistachio and ice cream heart. It’s like wearing an elegant dessert on your skin, without being cloying. What I like most is how versatile it is: you can wear it perfectly every day, whether for work, a walk or meeting friends. It has that rich, cosy yet light vibe that makes you want to reapply just for the pleasure of smelling it again. If you love sweet but fresh perfumes with a special, original touch, Khair Pistachio is an excellent choice. It’s gourmand, yes, but with a soft, charming personality that doesn’t go unnoticed.
What a lovely perfume. I just tried it today and that citrus opening accompanying the nuts, the fresh fruity floral heart and that creamy base, with the precise sweetness, warm and delicious, simply said ‘buy me’. How could I refuse? I didn’t and it came with me. Jajahaj. Moderate longevity and already close to the skin on me after a couple of hours, but for its price it’s well worth it.
In one day I realised it’s feminine; I love the scent, but I love smelling it on my wife even more. The trail sometimes drifted behind me, giving me the sensation that a woman had passed close by. I love the scent, I insist, it would have the personality to wear and defend, but I gifted it to my wife.
I gifted it to my partner and what a stroke of luck. I hadn’t heard anything like it and she adored it. It’s perfectly wearable for men who like gourmand fragrances (though that’s not me). Its pistachio opening is magical, giving it an exotic and distinctive touch. Shortly after my partner wore it, the sweet bursts of marshmallow, cotton candy… you’d want to eat it! Its longevity and trail are moderate, and in this type of perfume, I see that as a plus as it increases its versatility. There are many invasive sweet perfumes, but balanced sweets, with that pistachio note and at a good price like this, not so. (I picked it up for €18, but I see it as a good buy under €29).
Odd.
I received it recently to try an Arabic perfume as I’ve sampled many and none have pleased me or explained the fervour for some. But one, Rasasi’s Shurah, captivated me and since then I haven’t lost faith. Thank God this is a delight. It’s not a powerhouse, but it’s sweet, persistent and creamy. It’s persistent yet not heavy or annoying. A creamy pistachio, a pistachio with marshmallows for me. I’m glad to have it. It resembles Kayali’s but isn’t the same, yet be warned, it lasts longer on me than the original. I insist, it’s not a clone, at least in my opinion. The longevity and trail are acceptable, splendid.
It smells like pistachio ice cream; it’s sweet and I’d love to have my nose buried in the scent all day. It’s a summer scent and suits everyone.
The day I got it, I was in a right mess and had taken a Nolotil, but I didn’t blame the perfume at the time. The next day, when I put it on, it hit me right between the eyes and the migraine came back instantly. Don’t buy it blindly; it smells like cheap eighties cologne. On my skin, it smells like sour milk. I wanted to like it for the hype, but it’s been a total failure. I don’t know what to do with it, but just looking at the bottle gives me hives.
INTENSE pistachio ice cream, very sweet and very INTENSE. 😅 I struggle to use it because I am not into such sweet gourmands, but I like it; it is delicious though it is too much for me, so I apply only one or two sprays. It is a special perfume for those who love very sweet gourmands, but very sweet ones. 🧁 🌰
I cannot believe how long it took me to buy this jewel! I saw a review saying it smelled like shampoo or gel. Excuse me? Not even close. This is a complex scent with many notes; shampoos smell of only one or two things. This is an afternoon tea around a table with baklava, ice cream, hazelnut liqueur, and cardamom tea. A delight.
The best dupe for Kayali’s Gelato Pistachio: affordable, good longevity, and very delicious.
It smells 99% like the Kayali one, but creamier. It would need just a touch more freshness to be exactly 100%.
I have had it for eight months and truly, on my skin it turns into a mix of pistachio liqueur, cotton, and hazelnut; very good and unisex.
Although it is categorised as a floral fruity gourmand, I don’t find it so sweet or cloying; rather, I find it fresh, ideal for an afternoon at the beach in summer with friends. It has good performance, so I give it a 7/10.
A perfume with its own charm, featuring a citrus pistachio as the star. Not cloying at all thanks to that acidity. Enchanting for anyone seeking something different, sweet and fruity. I recommend it 100%.
I haven’t tried the Kayali one, but this smells like soap the moment you apply it. I used it up rather than throwing it away, but it is definitely not my style.
If they say it smells like ice cream, then yes, it is pistachio ice cream. Soapy? I don’t understand why. It is pure cream and sweet. The only downside is the longevity; after three hours I can’t smell it on my partner; I would love for it to last at least five hours. I also tried Affection and it felt more synthetic than this, so next time I’ll choose Luscious to seek greater longevity.
Let it settle first and now it smells like creamy pistachio ice cream; it lasts quite a while on the skin. Simply enchanting, I bought it blind and have no regrets.
