A fresh perfume with spectacular projection, although longevity on the first day was a maximum of two hours. I used it again a month later and it lasted about five and a half hours on the skin, plus it felt more balanced.
Let’s start with what surprised me most: the projection, quite a show. It’s not a 100% dupe of Torino 21; the original leaned more towards fresh mint with citrus, while this is all about BASIL in capital letters. Basil with citrus, a touch of mint, lemon balm, and other herbs, all very realistic and sparkling. But there’s a significant catch: the longevity is lamentable, lasting between half an hour and 45 minutes on my skin. So I’m hoping with all my soul that it will mellow and improve. Edit: now that it’s somewhat mellowed, its longevity has improved and I can feel it for up to four hours.
The notes that stand out most are basil, jasmine, and musk. The others soften this green and fresh touch. I imagine myself in the middle of a garden watering, surrounded by herbs and flowers. Yes, its longevity is lamentable; it arrived in summer and definitely isn’t for that season due to how little it lasts. Given its fresh notes, I think it’s perfect for indoors, where it lasts over an hour. I’ll wait for a colder season to see how it performs outdoors.
Notable projection, notable dry down, notable performance. It’s a notable fragrance. 10/10.
I bought it because of YouTube, but no one was honest: it has little trail and clings to the skin immediately, after an hour it’s barely noticeable. They say it smells like Torino 21, but to me it smells like soap, just like the Nautica Verde I gifted because I didn’t like it. If you want to try it, don’t pay more than £20; I paid £30 on Amazon and it wasn’t worth it.
I bought it based on YouTube reviews, but no one was honest about the very low sillage and how it clings to the skin instantly. After an hour, it’s gone. They say it smells like Torino 21, but I don’t know the original; that was my reason for buying it. To me, it smells like soap and reminds me of the Nautica Parfum Verde I’m gifting because I didn’t like it. If you want to try it, don’t pay more than $20. I paid £30 on Amazon.
Smells of mint, grass, and very soft lemon. It’s fresh and unisex, but the longevity and sillage are low. I bought it as a decant before diving into blind buys; I didn’t like it, though it’s not a bad fragrance. I agree with the previous reviewer: don’t pay more than £20.
A very good and refreshing scent; the mint and citrus feel very well executed. It’s a good dupe of T21. The worst part is that in five minutes you only notice it close to the skin, and in an hour it disappears. I let it mellow for a month, but it didn’t improve even then, what a pity. If you want a perfume to last through work or class hours, forget it. We tested it with four different people outdoors and indoors, and it was a complete fiasco. I don’t know why they make perfumes with such scarce longevity.
Very good and refreshing scent; the mint and citrus are achieved well. A good dupe of T21. The worst part is that in five minutes it is only noticeable up close, and after an hour it disappears. I let it macerate for a month and it did not improve, what a pity. If you want it to last through work or class, forget it. We tested it with four people and it was a total fiasco. I do not know why they make perfumes with such scarce longevity.
For those who say it does not resemble Torino21, it seems they have not tested it nose-to-nose; I have, and it is identical. HOWEVER, it lacks muscle and the power of the original. The cleanliness of the chords is a great success; there must be a quality difference as Xerjoff’s are extraordinary, but I found no such differences. I will let it mature as oxygen enters the bottle and will provide an update.
“Sparkling freshness with attitude”. Voux Zingy is a fragrance full of energy and vitality. From the start, it stands out with bright citrus notes and a green touch that gives it a clean, modern air. It’s one of those fragrances that lifts your mood instantly, perfect for hot days or when you want to feel light and confident. As it evolves, it becomes slightly softer, with a subtly woody base that balances its initial freshness. Its sillage is moderate and its longevity is more than correct for its style. An optimistic, fresh aroma with a touch of casual elegance.
Tried from a decant with two sprays. Fresh aroma of spearmint with a mentholated touch and a slightly sweet note. It is not for much; it smells good but is for daily wear and somewhat feminine, with no impact. I do not know the longevity but it will be scarce. I would not buy it as it is a scent without personality or more.
Sparkling freshness with attitude. Voux Zingy has energy and vitality, with bright citrus notes and a clean green touch. It lifts the mood, ideal for hot days. As it dries down it becomes soft with a woody base that balances. Moderate trail and correct longevity for its style. Optimistic, fresh, and elegant.
Voux Zingy is totally unisex, fresh, herbal, and revitalising – modern and elegant, conveying cleanliness and energy from the start. For those who love green and citrus. The opening is refreshing with mint, lemon, basil, and thyme – natural and stimulating. The heart gains complexity with blackcurrant, lavender, rosemary, and jasmine, becoming more sophisticated. The dry down is clean with verbena and musk. The trail is fresh and comfortable. It resembles Torino21 in its herbal-citrus DNA, though without as much complexity. Versatile for spring/summer, daytime, work, or the gym. Good performance and notable projection. Vibrant and elegant, an excellent unisex option with good value for money.
Citrusy and daily; among the Torino21 dupes, this is the most feminine due to its pronounced floral note. Longevity is poor, typical of citrus scents, and projection is average; the performance leaves much to be desired. My mother wears it daily and she can hardly ever be smelled. I recommend 10 sprays. It is not bad, but a thousand times better is Amyr Faris by Jivi: same scent, better performance, and without that floral aspect, although it costs double.
Voux Zingy is a fresh, herbal, and highly revitalising unisex masculine fragrance, with a modern and elegant character that conveys cleanliness, energy, and dynamism from the very first moment. Designed for those who love well-structured green and citrus aromas, with a clear but pleasant presence. The opening is intensely refreshing, marked by a very aromatic blend of mint, lemon, basil, and thyme. The initial green, citrus, and slightly spicy note has a natural and stimulating air that awakens the senses instantly. Far from being synthetic or aggressive, it is balanced and very well crafted. In the heart, this is where it gains complexity and elegance. Blackcurrant adds a very interesting acidic fruity touch, while lavender, rosemary, and jasmine reinforce its aromatic and clean profile. In this phase, freshness is maintained, but a more sophisticated and structured nuance is added that sets it apart from a simple citrus perfume. The dry down is clean and luminous, with lemon verbena prolonging the fresh sensation and musk adding softness and fixation. The final result is a fresh, elegant, and very comfortable sillage that accompanies you for hours without being invasive. It’s inevitable to compare it to Xerjoff’s Torino 21, and in my case the similarity is clear in the herbal-citrus DNA and the sporty yet elegant feel. Obviously, it doesn’t have the same complexity or refinement as the original, but Voux Zingy offers a very well-executed interpretation, more accessible and perfectly usable for everyday life. Given its profile, I consider it an extremely versatile perfume, ideal for spring and summer, especially for daytime use, work, outdoor activities, the gym, informal meetings, or even special occasions where you seek freshness and good presence without excess. Regarding performance, on my skin it presents very good longevity and notable projection for a fresh perfume, leaving a clean and lasting sillage that is perceived without being overpowering. In summary, Voux Zingy is a vibrant, elegant, and revitalising fragrance, perfect for those who want to project energy, distinction, and freshness. An excellent unisex option with a very well-achieved herbal-citrus profile and outstanding value for money.
Totally unisex, citrusy, and with basil that smells like a restaurant’s sweet lemonade. I think it lacks a touch of rum to be more masculine, but it is very pleasant for everyday wear. The performance is disappointing, but that is normal for this type of fragrance. Rating: 7/10.
I bought it yesterday and have tried it (without having Xerjoff’s Torino21 to compare). It is citrusy with a herbal touch of basil, reminiscent of the freshness of a mojito – very tasty and addictive. The weak points are the longevity: the trail lasts an hour before fading, and by four hours it is barely clinging to the skin. I understand it is citrus, so reapply and you are good. Worth it for the price; it is for summer, daytime, and informal use.
I tried it yesterday and it’s a beastly citrus with basil; the opening smells like mojito and is super addictive. The only downside is the trail lasts an hour before it clings to the skin, but since it’s citrusy, you just reapply and you’re good. It’s not expensive and ideal for summer or casual days.
Honestly, at first it smells 99% identical to Torino21, which is why I sought it out. The trail is negligible and it lasts about an hour and a half on the skin; they say it reaches four hours once macerated, so I shall wait to see. It is exquisite, very similar to the original, but as it dries down the basil takes centre stage and separates slightly, which I actually prefer. Despite the minimal longevity, I recommend buying it.
Fresh, green, and aromatic, with basil and lemon verbena in abundance. Smells like a plant nursery or herb market, yet without being heavy; perfect for summer or spring. The only downside is the longevity is akin to Montblanc’s Starwalker – almost non-existent. It smells lovely and earns compliments, but requires constant reapplication to be noticeable.
