I tried it and it’s almost identical. It’s more versatile than Naxos because it’s less sweet and the tobacco is more pleasant. I recommend it: it lasts about 8 hours and has moderate sillage.
I’ve tried several Naxos decants and have to say that, considering it costs €250, it’s insulting that this smells so similar. The differences are noticeable, but honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if many people preferred this one. I still need to see if it performs as well as it seems, but for the price, I highly recommend trying it; it has surprised me.
Sampled from a decant, what a wonderful olfactory experience. Honey, a spicy mentholated touch, and tobacco. I thought it would be another gourmand and was wrong. It’s worth it; it’s truly a great perfume. Unisex but with a feminine air. Updating after wearing it more (I’m not deleting the first review because that’s how fragrances are): it transports me to my childhood, to my grandmother’s perfumes for church. It still smells good, but it’s not for me; the honey sounds very soapy to me, like artisan soap, and I think I’d get tired of it.
It doesn’t seem quite faithful to the original; I’d say around 70%. At first, it smells different; the original is citrusy, whereas this Voux Elegant loses that touch, even having an animal nuance that Naxos lacks. As it dries down, they resemble each other more, but Naxos always has a delicious floral base that’s missing here. In the air, they’re easily confused, but I can always tell them apart. For €30, it smells great, lasts over 6 hours, and has good projection, though it’s not the perfect clone.
A blind buy and very rich. You can smell the honey, sweet but not cloying. The opening is synthetic like many Arab perfumes, but after a few seconds it smells of quality. It reminds me of the 1993 Joop Homme, less invasive and more subtle. It has a note that smells like cherry lozenge or gum; I know it doesn’t, but my nose takes me there. Ideal for dates or quiet evenings, not for standing out. I haven’t tried Naxos, but it’s worth it.
Very rich, smells like sweet lemon ‘lemon curd’. A safe buy. It has no projection and doesn’t last long, but the quality-to-price ratio is good.
Very rich, it smells like that sweet lemon cream called ‘lemon curd’. A safe purchase, although it lacks projection and doesn’t last long; I think the value for money is good.
A straightforward purchase with little risk of disappointment. If you like sweet, elegant perfumes with a sharp citrus note, this is for you. It blends sophisticated sweetness without being cloying with a dynamic acidic touch. Very well-balanced, easy to enjoy, and sure to please many.
I love it. It starts strong and fresh, then turns sweet and floral, finishing with honey and tobacco, which I notice most. It’s for daily wear. It lasts well on skin and much longer on clothes, with a soft and pleasant trail.
It’s a good perfume for the price, but it falls short of Naxos. Same DNA, but different.
I like it a lot. It has a strong, fresh opening (even a bit boozy), then becomes slightly sweet and floral, drying down to honey and tobacco, which is what I notice most. Ideal for daily wear. It lasts well on my skin and much longer on clothes. Soft and pleasant sillage.
Does it smell like Naxos? Yes, but very far off. It lacks the quality, nuances, longevity, and evolution of Naxos. It’s very linear and stays at the opening of Naxos. Plus, it smells of synthetic lemon and unpleasant lime to me. Nothing like Naxos.
Does it have an air of Naxos? Yes, but from far away. It lacks the quality, nuances, longevity, and evolution. It’s very linear and stays at the top note of Naxos. Still, it makes me a bit sick; it smells like Naxos’s top note with synthetic lemon and a lime scent I don’t like. Nothing compared to Naxos.
It bears no resemblance to Naxos; it’s the ugliest scent among the 300+ I know.
It only has a hint of Naxos; it disappointed me. It smells like an old perfume, with tobacco and honey dominating. It’s not cheap here; I’ve spent money in vain. I’ll let it rest, but Arab perfumes are definitely not for me.
Voux Élégante is sophisticated and characterful, a sweet-spicy blend with a tobacco base that leaves a mark without being heavy. It starts fresh with citrus and lavender, then becomes seductive with jasmine, honey, and cashmere. The base is warm, featuring tobacco, vanilla, cardamom, and tonka bean. It’s comfortable and elegant, though it lacks the density and complexity of Naxos. For the price, it’s a well-constructed alternative, ideal for autumn, winter, or night outs. The longevity is decent and the projection is moderate.
Smells great, very reminiscent of Xerjoff Naxos, but the trail and projection are almost non-existent.
It smells very well and is quite close to Xerjoff Naxos, but its projection and sillage are very weak.
