The cardamomo opening is too much for me, but once it settles, it smells divine; a momentary letdown with a promising future.
Starts with bitter orange, then turns sweet and almond-y, though it’s not advertised. I was knocked out by the spice, but my friend adored it; doesn’t last long, so be careful when buying.
It opens with a bitter orange note, then shifts to a sweet scent that isn’t cloying, with a slightly boozy and almond-like nuance not listed on the box. It doesn’t smell of rose or apple. I found it too spicy and the sharp note gave me a headache, though that’s why I think it’s unisex. The trail and longevity didn’t impress me; it lasted only two or three hours. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind; I had to gift it away as soon as I tried it, and to my surprise, it smelled exquisite on the recipient, completely different from how I experienced it.
Reminds me of my usual custard cream, with a hint of orange and cinnamon; lasts quite a while and feels like a luxury.
Smells like an almond and spice banquet; rich but not for everyone, so better not to buy blindly.
