  • Curious perfume. The opening is perceived as green and citrusy, very fresh. Above all, the grapefruit is quite prominent. Gradually, a fruity background note begins to appear, which reminds me a bit of raspberry, something sweet but not cloying. Meanwhile, the green nuances and citrus settle, and a slightly ‘watery’ rose begins to bloom. That rose is quite present from the heart to the dry down, without the grapefruit note and the aforementioned sweet sensation ever disappearing. The performance, for the type of perfume it is, is very good. It lasts quite a while with good presence for many hours. It smells more feminine to me than masculine, but as I always say, this is very personal. Personally, I liked it, but it didn’t enamor me enough to buy a bottle. I consider it a good fresh perfume for hot weather, taking into account its good performance and that it is not excessively expensive… It is a good option for those looking for a nice smell and not similar to most of the ‘freshies’ flooding perfumeries these days.

  • A curious fragrance with a very fresh green and citrus opening, dominated by grapefruit. Gradually, a fruity base emerges, like raspberry, sweet yet not cloying. The greens and citrus settle while a ‘watery’ rose blooms. By the middle and end, the rose is present without the grapefruit or that sweetness disappearing. Performance is very good for its type: it lasts quite a while and has good presence. It smells more feminine to me, though it is very personal. I liked it, but it didn’t win me over enough to buy the bottle. It’s a good fresh option for heat, with good performance and a reasonable price. Ideal for those seeking something pretty and different from the usual ‘freshies’ in perfumeries.

You or someone like you is a good alternative to classic, old-fashioned fresh colognes for daily use, especially in the heat, if you want to smell different. In my case, what I notice most is the mint, but not the typical fresh mint that smells like mint sweets, but a much greener and herbal mint. The opening is exactly like when you crush mint leaves between your hands. The rose, green notes, and musk accompany the mint, giving it a more powdery character and a bit more punch to the fragrance. Citrus notes are also detectable. As it dries down, the mint fades and the cassis and rose increase; together with the musk, they give a slightly sweeter sensation, without losing freshness at any point. The performance is not amazing, but it is better than other perfumes from the brand and many others of this style, so for the type of scent it is, there is no complaint. • MINT! It starts smelling almost like a mojito, a very curious impact. Then that glass becomes more sophisticated and evolves into something fresh, herbal, and green. It is pure mint with small spicy and green additions. I can see myself picking mint from the garden, or peppermint. A refreshing cocktail of perfume, without alcohol. I know several people who love the MOJITO and its scent, so this perfume is definitely for them.

  • Something strange happens with this perfume; at first it smells very nice of mint, then the rose takes the lead with mint in the background, which doesn’t fully convince me. What bothers me is that after an hour on the skin, it smells like an armpit with deodorant. By the way, I find it more feminine than masculine.

On a trip to Madrid during a heatwave, this sample was my greatest comfort to survive the relentless extreme heat that offered no respite. It achieved what several showers and stops to hydrate every two or three hours could not. It produces the effect of chewing strong mint gum and then drinking water straight from the freezer. Alongside Prakt and Torino 21, it joins my selection of aromatic greens. Compared to Prakt, its longevity is much greater; against Xerjoff, although it is slightly flatter, and while the opening of Torino 21 is glorious, it lasts only minutes before evolving and losing the mint, for me that initial weakness becomes a strength. It balances herbal notes with a perceptible blackcurrant, giving it a fruity touch without overloading it with sweetness. I swear it smells of tea. It is an updated alternative to the classic wardrobe staple for very hot days. It is refreshing, elegant, long-lasting, and at an affordable price. One could ask for nothing more. I recommend it.

On a trip to Madrid in the midst of a heatwave, my greatest comfort to survive the extreme heat that gave no respite day or night was a sample of this juice. This achieved what several showers a day and stopping every two or three hours to hydrate could not. It produced the same effect as chewing a strong mint gum and then drinking a glass of water that seemed freshly taken from the freezer. Alongside Prakt and Torino 21, it joins my chosen list of green aromas. In relation to the first, its longevity is much greater, and regarding Xerjoff, although it seems a bit flat to me, and Torino 21’s opening is glorious, this does not last beyond a few minutes before evolving down other paths where the mint stops being so prominent; therefore, what could initially be seen as a weakness becomes, in my eyes, a strength. It perfectly balances its herbal notes with the blackcurrant, quite perceptible, giving it a fruity touch but without overloading on sweetness. I swear I can detect a tea note among its accords. As has been pointed out in previous comments, it is an updated alternative to the classic wardrobe staple for hot days. It is refreshing, elegant, and long-lasting at an affordable price; you could not ask for more. I recommend it.

  • AUTHOR’S MOJITO After a brief downpour, typical of summer in some tropical spot, you return to the resort exhausted and sink into a ‘peacock’ style armchair while sipping a delicious mojito. It’s not just any mojito, because you’re not in just any place… Here, the lounge bar zone is a lawn of freshly cut grass, surrounded by rose bushes and vegetation that still feels damp, and this atmosphere envelops you as you play with mint and ice between your lips. The sun shines again, slightly through the clouds, and the heat begins to ease as dusk falls… This is what I felt and wanted to convey to my father while spraying the fragrance on him. But he, pragmatic as a New York taxi driver, cut the moment short: ‘This smells like Flit, the insecticide my mother used. But hey! I loved how it smelled… good memories.’ Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Author’s mojito for me, vintage insecticide for him. Luckily, my identical twin sister, who shares every last crumb of my olfactory DNA, stepped into the family scene, inhaled the air and said: ‘Wow, I love it! Smells like a mojito.’ ‘But… it’s not just any mojito, is it?’ I replied with that hope of finding myself in her. And, almost telepathically, we replied in unison: ‘Nooo… It’s an author’s mojito! Yeah… Someone like me.’ 🍀 Recommendation: Try it on high temperatures, when the heat turns any mojito into a refreshing mirage.

  • After a tropical storm, you sit in a peacock-style armchair and enjoy a luxury mojito. The lounge smells of freshly cut grass, rose bushes, and humidity, while you play with mint and ice. The sun filters through the clouds and the heat drops as evening falls. I told this to my father, who, pragmatic as a New York taxi driver, said it smelled like Flit, his mother’s insecticide, but that he liked it. For me, it is an author’s mojito; for him, a vintage insecticide. My identical twin sister, who shares my olfactory DNA, came in, inhaled, and shouted: ‘Wow, it smells like a mojito!’. I told her it wasn’t just any mojito, and we almost telepathically replied: ‘It’s an author’s mojito! Yeah, someone like me’. Try it in high heat, when the mojito becomes a refreshing mirage.

  • Psicostasis

What a love at first sniff! They say it smells like a mojito, but I’m not sure if that’s its core for me. In my opinion, the central note is the soapy bergamot—the ‘pompeiro bergamot,’ as I like to call it. It’s lifted upwards with mint and grounded downwards with cassis, if this metaphor makes any sense. A little soft, a tiny bit rough, yet very bold. I am hugely delighted to see this standout feature one of my favourite notes.

  • MOJITO: A good mojito in an expensive setting surrounded by grass. Linear or nearly so. Decent but reserved projection. It has the quality of a natural-sounding mojito without turning cheap or tacky at the end. It’s stable and well-made, although its longevity and sillage are insufficient for the price point.

  • Blackbirdy

Pure, hard peppermint. No particular nuances; the scent is fairly flat and, being so fresh, it doesn’t last long. 7/10.

  • Victortor

Reminds me of a mojito, especially in the dry-down. That refreshing, slightly citrusy mint at the start. It’s a clean, very aromatic green scent. I struggle to detect individual notes, but the core is a green, citrusy, soapy fragrance. I associate it with pouring detergent onto a garden lawn, haha. It becomes very pleasant. As it dries, it loses some of the citrus punch and turns soapy without losing its green character, a soapy facet I mentioned earlier. I don’t think it has striking evolution. I like it for the office and hot days. It’s versatile and feels original. Average projection and good longevity, around 5 to 6 hours.

  • I think it’s very good. Strong opening of peppermint and citrus. Shortly after, on my skin, it powders with rose, which blends beautifully with the redcurrant and anise. It finishes with a lovely musk. For the roughly 8 hours it lasts, the peppermint remains present. It’s a super natural, rich leaf of peppermint. Projects quite well in the first hour. For me, 9/10.

  • Candycandy40

Reminds me of the Chlorophyll-flavoured Chew gum from my childhood. I agree it’s a craft mojito with impressive performance for such a fresh scent; it lasts about 8 hours on my skin. A clean, refreshing aroma of mint and rose with citrus touches, totally unisex. Perfect for those looking to move beyond classic summer citrus. A great choice if you enjoy the mint and rose combo.

  • Candycandy40

It brings back memories of the chlorophyll Chew gum from my childhood. I agree with others: it is an author’s mojito with good performance, lasting about 8 hours on the skin. It is clean, refreshing, minty with rose and citrus touches, totally unisex. Ideal for stepping out of classic summer citrus scents. A very good option if you like the mint-rose blend.

  • byrgertidesson

It’s not a bad fragrance, but I expected more. It’s relatively flat; on my skin, the rose just fades to reveal a ‘cocktail’ alcohol accord that, for me, smells more like passionfruit daiquiri with a slight dampness. In terms of usage, I find it flexible, standing out in moderate temperatures due to its cleanliness and a certain flirtatious/playful touch, though it is slightly more feminine because of the rose (7/10).

  • dannevour

Imagine you’re in a florist’s and you arrive with a huge bunch of coriander. That’s what You or Someone Like You smells like. It’s not a bad perfume, but it’s quite a mature scent with a sharp rose that isn’t for me. It seems to have great projection.

  • A blend of green notes, peppermint, blackcurrant, and rose, fairly balanced. Reminds me of Florabotanica. On my skin, it lasts about 3 hours with projection in summer. It’s for an informal wardrobe, unisex, and fresh for informal spring-summer days. It doesn’t excite me, but it’s extremely functional. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 6/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 7/10.

  • I don’t have much of it, but I never get tired of wearing it. I’m a fan of Torino21, and it’s very similar, but as it dries down, it leans more towards rose, and the citrus and menthol brightness fades. The Xerjoff version keeps the citrus going throughout. Longevity is good, with modest projection. About 4 or 5 hours on the skin, then occasionally it smells superb. In Argentina, the price for 50ml (around $150 USD) seemed high, but it’s worth it. My batch is from 2024. Without a doubt, I’d repurchase to avoid touching up my entire bottle of Torino21.

  • pablo_fragances!!!

Truly green, botanical, and with a gardener’s air. Opens with icy, spicy mint (like a mojito) over a base of figs. Smells like you’re sipping a mojito while lounging in a grassy garden. Over time, the rose and ivy gain prominence, giving a clean, innocent, and more feminine vibe. Perfect for summer heat. I see it as unisex, though the rose and ivy explain why some perceive it as more feminine. It’s charming and probably one of the easiest to like from ELDO. Decent projection and longevity.
