I’ll make it easy for you: It’s a PRO version of Jean Lowe Vibe and, in my opinion, the best twin brother Louis Vuitton Pacific Chill could have. Fresh, soft, mentholated, green lime citrus… a real treat.
Brilliant fragrance. Green, aromatic, citrus, sweet, sparkling, and refreshing. A true delight. One of the best blind buys I’ve ever made.
It has the Torino 21 DNA with notable longevity. Finally, I can throw away the Voux Zingy, which was inaudible after an hour. This one projects for 2 hours and lasts about 8 on the skin. Something achieved for a fresh scent. I love its mojito-like smell.
It’s a ‘menthol lime’ type citrus, very linear and long-lasting, but not a beast mode. More suited to summer than cold weather, where a fresh scent tends to go unnoticed. Is it original? Yes, and a lot so; in a world of repeated aromas, new proposals deserve appreciation. Is it versatile? No, walking down the street smelling like a mojito is personal and unlikely to be accepted in non-nighttime venues. Would I buy it again? No, I can’t see myself smelling like a mojito at work. As an olfactory experience and personal enjoyment, it’s fine; it’s shocking to discover other proposals. I wouldn’t recommend it blindly if you don’t like the lime-menta combo (I don’t appreciate the other web-listed notes). I won’t buy it again; there are better worlds to discover.
It smells very similar to the Torino 21, with good longevity and projection without being excessive. In my opinion, it’s elegant for medium to high temperatures. It’s a green, citrus, refreshing, and sparkling fragrance.
It smells more lemony than the Torino 21, whereas in the Xerjoff the floral notes come through more strongly. It lasts 6-7 hours and projects heavily for the first 2-3. Over time, I think it’ll evolve into a fresh beast mode. Try mixing it with Acqua Di Parma’s Colonia Intensa and let me know what you think.
I bought a decant of the legendary Torino 21 and loved it instantly, but the price didn’t quite add up. So I looked for dupes: Voux Zingy and Platine Blanc. Regarding Platine Blanc: 1. It’s very similar, especially at the start. 2. A super refreshing bitter lemon citrus opening. 3. Unisex, with a slightly feminine dry down that becomes creamy. 4. As a man, I adore it; I feel clean, fresh, and relaxed. 5. The longevity is decent for a citrus; if you want to project wildly, reapply at 4 hours. 6. Highly recommended if you’re seeking the Torino 21 DNA. 7. Good quality, one of the few I’d recommend lately. PS: I’ll post my review of Voux Zingy in its own place, but certainly Platine is superior.
