Hawas Verde by Rasasi

How lovely is this fragrance, oh my God! I have a 5 ml decant and I’ve been using it for a week now. Here in Argentina it’s still cold, but I’ll definitely buy the 100 ml bottle for when it gets a bit warmer. My first impression was: refreshing fragrance. You can really smell that mentholated and herbal little note like rosemary/juniper/basil. Ooh, so lovely! I don’t know why I feel I’ve smelt this scent before. I don’t know if in some air freshener or in some women’s perfume/fragrance my mum or a relative used. But never mind! It’s really lovely. It’s like you’re drinking a cold mojito, with lots of mint and lemon. Not to mention performance, it’s very good. Suitable for every moment and place, perhaps for a date I’d wear something else but it would still do. My mum wore it and it suited her very well, so it’s totally UNISEX. It’s also the first fragrance that reminds me of something fizzy, like a soft drink at a pub when you’re with friends. It’s like smelling something with bubbles, or a freshly made mojito, really cold and with ice, unlike many other perfumes, I fell in love. A refreshing and vibrant fragrance.

It was a blind buy, and I’m enormously grateful for it. What a brilliant scent! It’s a delight of freshness. A pronounced mint and lemon opening that remind me so very much of a well-made mojito. For a citrus perfume its projection and longevity, at least in my case, is huge. I basically wear it daily, but I bring it out at the gym, where something fresh is ideal to clear your mind.

Straight away it smells a lot like Chance by Chanel LOL, once it dries down you notice the mint and patchouli more, it did give me a bit of a medicinal smell like menthol ointment; it doesn’t smell bad, these are first impressions, I’ll let the perfume settle and oxygenate as it should and if I feel something has changed I’ll update the review Batch OCT 2025

This Hawas is insane for a fresh scent, it projects and lasts a very long time!!! By far one of the best Hawas!!! Fresh, citrusy, green!! Ugh, a delight!! Beast mode!!

The best Hawas of all (I didn’t try Thunder and Lava), at first it opens totally citrusy with lime and then evolves into a citrus-green perfume, this perfume has tremendous power, 8 hours on skin. It’s a totally beast mode summer perfume. If you like a MOJITO-style scent it’s literally that.

Recently purchased, worn three times, I really liked it, it’s perfect for warm weather, a walk or going out for lunch or dinner at the beach or the park, the opening and projection are spectacular, lemony like lemongrass, I notice a touch of rosemary and in the background a touch of ginger, and that patchouli that gives it depth, it reminds me a little of the vibrant smell of freshly cut jungle undergrowth, it stays vibrant for about 3 hours, I don’t consider it a full dupe of Xerjoff or Torino, they are quite similar yes, but it has its own character, a fragrance can be inspired by another yet have a different underlying intent, for longevity it gives me about 6 hours during the day and about 8 hours at night, for its quality-price ratio I think it was an excellent addition to the collection for daily wear in spring-summer, overall rating: 9/10

Thanks to Torino 21 and Buongiorno from ADP, the world rediscovered those beautiful citrus-herbal accords of old-school colognes. Green Hawas joins this trend with a lovely combination of lemon + rosemary + basil (not listed) and some mint (not listed but evident). In my view, not even niche houses use exclusively natural essential oils. But anyone who has more than 15 fragrances to compare knows the market has high-quality molecules (which are usually dearer) and some cheaper ones that smell artificially shrill. And the latter is the case with Green Hawas. However, that is to be expected for the price. What counts against this Hawas is its longevity. On my forearm, 4 sprays projected nicely for an hour and a half, but afterwards I had to press my nose to the skin to remember it was there. That is not justifiable when there are options such as Platine Blanc, Bamboo Reflection, or Thé Basilic by Molinard. It is no coincidence it is not amongst the best-selling Hawas and its price fell quickly after its release.

I was able to smell Torino 21 before this one arrived and I have to say it’s almost identical. I find Torino’s opening a bit more citrusy and fresh, unlike Verde where from the very first moment the predominant note is rosemary, not to mention you can tell the quality of the original. That said, green Hawas is a brilliant fragrance that in the dry-down manages to match Xerjoff’s. It’s not listed in Verde’s notes but I get a strong smell of mint, which I like because it gives an extra touch of freshness that is appreciated in hot weather. It has very good longevity for a fresh fragrance, which normally fade after 4 hours. As for projection it delivers, during the first two hours it will be quite noticeable, especially if you’re going to be in enclosed spaces (in my case I’ve tried it a few times at the gym and they’ve always told me they can smell it). It’s a fragrance that works both indoors and outdoors and in no case will it be overpowering, but you will make yourself noticed. Brilliant for summer.

Well my most recent purchase. Green Hawas a fragrance above all medium sweet with a well present lemon and bergamot, it has a sweetish note that wraps it. I expected it more mentholated from the reviews I saw, even though it says it’s masculine I find it more on the feminine side but it can easily be worn by both genders. Quite strong projection as well as its longevity, 1 day and already 5 compliments. Final rating 8/10

This is like drinking a cold mojito with lots of mint and lemon flavour. Not to mention the performance. A scent that pleases all the time with a string of compliments. Suitable for any time and place. Very versatile. Very similar to French Riviera mixed with Cedrat Boise by Mancera. Highly recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️

For me the opening (first 5 minutes) is horrible, a mix of toothpaste with Full sweets (Chile). In the dry-down it changes quite a bit, with a lot of citrus, mint and basil coming through. I do not think it is a bad perfume, but in my opinion Gran Torino by Mauricio Carbajal (Synonimus) beats it by a mile.

I feel it’s basically a fusion between LV’s Pacific Chill and Xerjoff’s Torino 21

Hawas keeps expanding its family and outdoing itself. With Verde it takes a qualitative leap. It moved away from the average Arabian perfume some time ago to compete on equal terms with designer fragrances and move one step closer to niche scents. The name Verde is not as glamorous as its content, which opens like an effervescent lemony olfactory hit with mint (although it lists rosemary). It lasts, it projects… and keeps on lasting… and keeps on projecting. It wins, pleases and scores. Don’t expect jogo bonito, but effectiveness. There’s a certain linearity to it, but for evolution there’s Darwinism. I’ve tried Torino 21, and this one matches it head to head. Recommended.

I own Torino 21 and recently bought Hawas Verde. My first impressions: the opening is very similar, really very close. You can perceive the lemon and that mint-type note. I don’t find it overly synthetic; on the contrary, it’s a pretty well-crafted scent and close to the original. It’s ideal for any occasion, especially casual. It doesn’t develop as much as many Arabian fragrances and pretty much stays at the opening (which, personally, is my favourite part of Torino 21). So… 60 USD vs 230 USD: for daily use, I choose it without hesitation. Having both? Of course. Torino for special occasions and Hawas Verde for day to day. Honestly, I’m fascinated.
