Hawas Tropical by Rasasi

This will be the first time I review a fragrance I don’t own; I became interested in this fragrance because I’ve smelled JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden on many people and it’s a scent I love, I found this fragrance looking for an affordable alternative besides my interest in the Hawas since I bought Hawas for him (I love it too), by coincidence this Hawas Tropical is worn by a university friend so I didn’t hesitate to borrow it from him… From the first spray on my wrist I noticed the following: 1.- This fragrance is nothing more than a parody of Paradise Garden 2.- The opening smells a bit more like a cleaning product than perfume Honestly the opening of this fragrance is very strong in the bad sense of the word, yes it smells of coconut and you can notice a strange similarity to the JPG but it’s like an exaggerated and grotesque version of it, NOTE in the opening. Once dry, the fragrance honestly did improve quite a bit and I did like it, but not enough to cleanse my palate after having been abused and mistreated by such an opening. Only one thing I’m sure of and I don’t mind contradicting other reviews: This fragrance should NOT be bought blind. Edit on 01/09: Honestly I think I was too harsh in my review. I gave it a second chance yesterday and honestly no matter how hard I try, it ends up being a fragrance I have to force myself to convince myself is good, which convinces me it’s bad. Although it suits my friend really well, just don’t buy it blind.

I’m new to fragrances, I’m a big coconut lover and when I heard about this fragrance I didn’t hesitate to buy it blind and… It didn’t disappoint me! I was really delighted with this fragrance, it has a very nice sweetness, I think it’s youthful but an adult could also wear it with no problem and it would be excellent, it’s like you’re drinking coconut water on the beach near the grass or something like that 10/10 recommended if you like sweet but not too sweet scents and it’s easy to like, my favourite from Rasasi

To me very similar to Paradise Garden, anyone who smells you wouldn’t find the difference, in my opinion 95% similarity and better sillage and projection, it could be a blind buy but the fig touch might not be for everyone, but for the price it’s a 100% win, totally summery!

Amazing fragrance… One of the best to wear in summer and use day to day, very easy to wear and a scent that everybody likes.

Exquisite but I would change the notes to longer-lasting ones, I don’t smell pure coconut, I would rather describe it as coconut water, since in the air it doesn’t feel so dense and it opens with a freshness, forgive the redundancy, of coconut water, from there it quickly blends with a more prominent fig that reduces the coconut water to nuances, limited to the sweetness of the fig, although mint is listed the truth is I see it more in the opening than in the heart, the only base note I would keep is sandalwood, because tonka bean is normally heavy, and here it feels with the quality of sandalwood of being creamy sweet but soft or faint, the truth is the opening is captivating, since in the end it becomes a bit more linear, FIG, minimal bursts of coconut and sandalwood, that is what the whole fragrance will be and what people will notice on you… THE MAGIC IS IN THE OPENING if you want to impress someone bring the decant minutes before and apply it, because that coconut water is fascinating, after that it becomes sweeter but I say this because coconut water is somewhat rare to smell around, and if you want to impress that is the best moment, because afterwards it becomes sweet and more ordinary.

My signature summer scent. To my nose it has a pleasant light coconut water smell, perfect for summer. And it is complemented by all the herbs. Overall it smells sweet tropical with water, light green, but it doesn’t disappear instantly. Projection is average and it lasts a long time for a summer perfume. In my opinion it doesn’t smell anything like JPG.

Hawas Tropical, a perfume supposedly imitating Le Beau Paradise Garden. Whilst I haven’t had the chance to try the original inspiration, I can say that this perfume on its own is a spectacular option for summer. It stands out for being sweetish, with a quite creamy coconut to my taste that doesn’t disappoint at all. It’s true that at first it can smell a bit like coconut sunscreen, but the truth is it’s a much more intense and pleasant scent, where you clearly perceive a mint note and a touch of ginger that balance it and make it just brilliant. In terms of performance, sillage and longevity truly impressive. I remember once I was at a presentation wearing this perfume; the professor smelt me from the very back of the room, which I found incredible because the lecture halls are quite large. So in short, it’s a very good perfume and a total blind-buy recommendation if you like these tropical, fresh profiles and want to make sure your presence is noticed from a distance.

I’m a fan of Le Beau EDT, so every time a new version comes out I try it, with Paradise Garden released about three years ago, I tried it and liked it but it didn’t blow my mind, so I decided to wait for a price drop or an imitation, recently I thought about buying this dupe to not spend so much on the original and it was a terrible disappointment, not because of the scent but because of the low projection… Honestly I don’t know if it’s my nose with olfactory fatigue or the fragrance, but I barely perceive it, neither sillage nor longevity, already tried twice with 2025 batch, the first time I thought it wasn’t original and smelt like nothing, or rather its aroma was quite faint. Later reading reviews mentioning the punchy coconut or sweet smell and very good performance I bought it at my trusted place, but no friends I wore it yesterday on my arm with two sprays and today with 10 sprays including on clothes, unfortunately I only perceive it close to skin with a super subtle scent. I don’t think I had bad luck with a fake from two different places, maybe it’s a batch issue, so better test its performance before buying.

It’s a fragrance that’s worth every penny, it’s very similar to Paradise Garden although it doesn’t have the woody notes

To be honest I bought it because I was intrigued by Paradise Garden and unfortunately every shop I went to never had a tester, so I decided to buy this one to have a reference without having to spend so much. It is a fragrance I liked quite a lot and at home it earned lots of compliments from my family coming in to where I was and saying how ‘lovely and sweet it smells’, curiously no one mentioned coconut and at first I did not find it easy to pick out either, unlike other more ‘fresh’ coconut fragrances, here the feeling I get is like sun cream but less sharp, it is a creamy coconut. The strangest reaction was from a female colleague who on arriving said ‘it smells of passion fruit’, I think it is actually a tropical smell, but nothing like passion fruit hahaha. As for when to wear it, I understand people favour it for summer because of the tropical smell it has, but personally, I cannot see myself wearing it in a lot of heat, because it is still a bit overpowering. Regarding performance, it lasts a very long time, I washed a base-layer T-shirt and the smell was still there and on skin easily 7 or 8 hours. On projection I would say the first few hours it projects a lot, enough to fill a not very large room and during the remaining hours it constantly gives off bursts of scent when you move.

Try it before buying, it’s a strong smell, I don’t think this scent is for summer and much less for intense heat.

Love and hate for this perfume but more love. I ordered it and they sent me a fake one, honestly the fake smelt exactly like Paradise but didn’t last even an hour. I returned it and thought about ordering Paradise instead, but because of the prices I assumed I’d get a fake one, so I ordered this one again from another higher-rated seller and that one was genuine. Very fresh smell, 97% similar to Paradise but this one is a little sweeter, just a little; in Paradise you notice the salt more in the opening and in this one you notice the coconut more, but as we know coconut is not a very sweet fruit. It reminds me a lot of the first day you arrive at the beach on holiday, that feeling of calm, freshness and beach smell, of course all of this before you start drinking and don’t know anything else about yourself until you’re already on the transport back home.
