10 out of 10, smells fantastic. It is fresh and wonderful, with notes of mango, lemon, flowers and oud. I will let it macerate until spring.

A curious fragrance. It belongs to the Sceptre Malachite line but is of much higher quality and less unisex. It remains unisex, yet as it dries down it takes on a more masculine touch. The dry-down is intriguing; it seems to appear and disappear, though after 12 hours it sits close to the skin. It smells good but feels a little flat, merely mango. So I tried blending it half-and-half with Lataffa Asad, or 60–70% Ophidian with the rest Asad, and the result was rich, much more masculine, with that sharp spicy note over the deep, dense mango base.

I was absolutely blown away by this scent in the store a month ago and bought it yesterday. It opens with a juicy, realistic mango, accented by a spicy, energetic ginger note that I love. As it dries down, it sweetens slightly, moving away from being so playful to become something more structured, fruity, tropical, and very sexy. I can’t imagine anyone not liking it. The longevity is shorter than expected because it’s new, but I’ll wear it this summer and let it mature for later. It’s unisex, perhaps slightly feminine, but in summer on men, it’s a compliment bomb. For me, having the Sceptre Malachite, the Ophidian is its older brother—more mature and well-made. Plus, the packaging is brilliant. Bravo, Paris Corner. Scent: 9.5/10, Projection: 8.5/10, Longevity: 6/10. Ideal for going out at night, dates, or casual plans.

It’s a blend of mango, ginger, and lemon: fresh, tropical, yet with elegant and mature touches. It’s not a sweet or youthful scent; it has character and presence. Although I wouldn’t recommend it for summer due to its potency and sharpness, it shines with balance and sophistication in spring, autumn, or winter. It lasts around 9-10 hours on clothes. I define it as unisex, tropical, and adult, with a serious mango refreshed by lemon and spiced by ginger. If you’re looking for a mango with personality and not one for children, this is for you.
