About Citrine
Citrine by Ahmed Al Maghribi: A Woody Oriental Fragrance for All
Citrine by Ahmed Al Maghribi is a unisex woody oriental perfume with an appealing contrast between sparkling freshness and deep warmth. It is designed for those who like a fragrance that evolves throughout the day.
The opening note is bright: lemon, mint, mango and ginger. In the heart, jasmine and cedar take over, before musk, oud and amber create a rich, enduring base.
The first impression is crisp and mouth-watering. Lemon and mint give a clean, verdant lift, mango adds juiciness and ginger contributes a gentle spice, making the opening feel joyful rather than sharp.
The heart is where the fragrance softens. Jasmine brings a delicate floral touch, while cedarwood gives a dry, calm backbone. It is a smooth transition from the energetic top to the more enveloping base.
At the base, musk delivers a sensual, skin-close effect. Oud wood brings sophistication and a hint of smoke; amber warms everything with a resinous, honeyed character. The whole composition feels polished and composed.
What makes Citrine distinctive is how it balances multiple facets: citrus, aromatic, green, fresh spicy, white floral, tropical, musky, fruity, and sweet. Each note appears in turn, creating a layered experience.
It performs well in both warm and cooler weather, and its sillage is noticeable without being too loud. This makes it a flexible choice for workdays, weekends, and many social occasions.
This perfume is made for men and women who appreciate dualities: fans of fresh, fruity openings as much as those who love woody, amber-heavy drydowns. It is particularly suited to newcomers to oud who prefer a softer introduction.
Ultimately, Citrine by Ahmed Al Maghribi is a confident woody oriental with an approachable freshness. It has earned a strong average rating of 4.62 out of 5, and it lives up to that reception with its balanced character and lasting trail.

Hello to the community, I’m new. I bought this perfume. There aren’t many reviews in Spanish, and I don’t know if this perfume is well known. I’ve had it for three days. Is it necessary to let it macerate, oxygenate it and keep it for two months? They say this house works with better oils and essences, and it doesn’t come across as so alcoholic. It’s true that it lasts a long time and is more realistic than other inspirations.
Ctrine smells nice. And I have little else to say. The opening supposedly comes with mango, ginger, mint and lemon, but on my skin the mango must have missed its plane, and the ginger never even left the house. What’s left is a soft, simple citrus with mint and barely a fruity hint. Then the woods appear, and in the background that oud with musk and amber gives it a bit more body. Does it smell bad? Not at all. Is it special, novel, or does it make me want to rush back to smell my arm? Not really. Unisex, pretty acceptable longevity for this profile and pleasant to wear. But that’s it. There are perfumes that tell a story and others that have simply arrived. Ctrine has arrived.
