Descripción
Laguna Homme by Salvador Dali is a woody oriental fragrance for men. Launched in 2001, this composition was created by perfumer Henri Bergia. The olfactive pyramid opens with top notes of bergamot, mandarin, lime, citron and lemon; the heart reveals a blend of cedar, sandalwood, jasmine and cyclamen; while the base settles on tonka bean, vanilla, coumarin, sage, musk and labdanum.

You’ll love the scent: the citrus opening is very rich, and the woody base notes last a long time, also very rich. My wife adores this perfume.
It resembles Versace’s The Dreamer, but with a slightly rawer composition. That said, it smells absolutely delicious.
A very clean and exquisite fragrance. As soon as I dab a little on my neck, I feel like I’m in a tropical place, ideal for a summer afternoon.
A fresh and cheerful fragrance for warm days. Upon spraying, you note powdery citrus (due to the musk) blended with soft woods; very unisex. It’s more informal than formal, with good longevity and a moderate trail. It resembles the women’s version, just less powdery. Sometimes you catch the shy sandalwood escaping the dominating citrus. If you smell it properly, it evokes a hot afternoon drinking lemonade on the grass near a patch of lemon verbena. The best part is that it’s usually not very expensive.
A fresh and cheerful fragrance for a warm day. In the top notes, you notice a blend of powdery citrus (due to the musk) with soft wood notes; I’d say quite unisex. I think it’s more informal than formal, with good longevity and a moderate trail. It’s very similar to the women’s version, just less powdery. At times, you catch the shy sandalwood escaping the almost dominating citrus. If you take the time to smell it, it evokes a hot afternoon drinking lemonade on the grass near a patch of lemon verbena. The best part is that it’s usually not a very expensive fragrance.
It’s a clean, exquisite, and fresh fragrance, very cheerful. It’s a bit ‘rawer’ than Versace’s Dreamer, something others have noted and which I agree with. I think it’s more suited to warm nights than days. Anyone who tries it won’t regret it; it’s one of those fragrances everyone likes and no one dislikes. I’d love to buy it to better appreciate its phases.
I’ve been searching for this in Mexico for years without success, but it’s worth the wait. It makes me incredibly happy and lingers just enough. The sweetness isn’t bothersome; it’s addictive and delicious. Every comment is positive, no one complains. It’s a well-made perfume that makes you feel great anywhere. 100% recommended and it’s not trendy. Don’t be afraid to wear it; as the temperature rises, it becomes sweeter and richer, leaving an incredible trail. It suits all ages, from young to old, and is incredibly versatile.
Finally, I have it… or rather, she takes over when I wear it. It’s a sweet, fresh scent that clears the mind, making me want to run through that load of sweetness. It’s ideal for temperate or cold climates where the air conditioning is cranked up. Laguna works wonders; someone will inevitably ask what lotion you’re using. It’s a pity you can’t find it in many counters. It’s intense, fresh, sweet, ambivalent, and suggestive—a scent between forest, rain, and grass. Delicious!
I bought this for my husband; I’m not sure how he’ll like it. I wear Laguna Woman and it’s absolutely divine; I just hope the men’s version is equally delightful and that I haven’t made a mistake.
The scent of Laguna is simply incomparable. As a devoted fan of sweet and gourmand fragrances, I’ve fallen head over heels for this perfume. It opens with fresh, citrusy notes but gradually develops into a woody, slightly floral dry-down. Even if you overapply it, it won’t bother others; despite its powerful trail and excellent longevity, the scent remains pleasant in every phase. Although it’s ideal for summer, there’s no issue wearing it in colder seasons, where it invites closeness and feels surprisingly warm. Hard to find in physical stores in Mexico, but incredibly easy to buy online. Highly recommended!
The aroma of Laguna is simply incomparable. I, a fan of sweet and gourmand scents, have surrendered to this perfume that starts with fresh citrus notes but, over minutes, takes on a woody and slightly floral base. Over-application never bothers others; although its trail is huge and its projection powerful, the scent isn’t unpleasant in any phase. Even though it invites summer wear, there’s no problem wearing it in cold seasons, where it invites closeness and even feels warm. Hard to find in physical stores in Mexico, but very easy to buy online. Totally recommended!
Today, 28 March 2017, I bought this fragrance in Santiago de Chile, and I must disagree strongly with the forum reviews. Once applied to the skin, there’s absolutely no citrus, no lemon, nothing of the sort. I only detect jasmine and a warm, almost feminine base.
Yesterday I bought a 30ml bottle of this fragrance. The first thing I noticed is that it’s oriental, but the opening is dominated by citrus and tangerine, giving a fresh touch. Then the vanilla and jasmine appear, and that’s when its oriental side emerges. Great perfume, informal, but very good for summer or spring, at a very good price.
I picked up a 30ml bottle yesterday. My first impression is that it’s an oriental scent, but the opening is dominated by citrus and tangerine, giving it a fresh touch. Later, the vanilla and jasmine emerge, bringing out its oriental side. A wonderful perfume—informal yet perfect for summer or spring. And at a very reasonable price.
I bought this perfume based on reviews and, quite frankly, it didn’t suit me at all. I never detected any citrus notes, only jasmine. If you’re used to quality fragrances, I wouldn’t recommend it. However, if you’re looking for something different, it might be worth a try. 4/10.
Salvador Dalí Laguna Pour Homme is borderline. It walks the tightrope arousing both sympathy and disdain. It is a chemical invention that boasts of being one. It is in the line of Francis Kurkdjian such as Ma Dame or Fleur du Male, with that olfactory mechanistic engineering of a perfumer. It is not criticism, but specification regarding the similarity to Gaultier’s studies. These are special fragrances: for some cold and artificial, for others clean and luminous. The opening is citrusy and mentholated. No one comments on the unmistakable menthol scent, which brings me memories of the cold mint of Gaultier’s Le Male (that one is sensual and warm). The blend of lime, tangerine, bergamot, lemon and the herbal aroma of citron creates a camphorated and balsamic note. It has much of a medicinal balm, like an ointment to clear breathing passages. It separates between a scent too medicinal and one clean, airy and refreshing. I see it closer to the latter, although it runs the risk of seeming like a musky aromatic vapour for humidifiers. In the development it doesn’t change much, it is quite linear. I don’t notice jasmine, cyclamen or sage; perhaps in the distant dry down tonka bean and vanilla are glimpsed, but overshadowed by the balsamic menthol. It is so original that I would define it as Aromatic Aquatic: the menthol adds an ozonic freshness of waters churned by an alpine sea, a high mountain ocean of eucalyptus. Its sillage is notable and its longevity a portent that surrounds you for many hours. Sensation of cleanliness and tidiness, usable anywhere. High performance and good value for money, highly recommended for those with 90s aromatic aquatic tastes.
I found it very cheap so I said let’s go… The opening is sweet and soft, well linear from start to finish. It reminds me of the vibes of Le Male (it’s not the same). It has good longevity of about seven hours, but its projection is very soft; you apply it and it literally drops to skin level. It doesn’t smell bad, but it does smell synthetic. I wouldn’t buy it again for that skin-hugging projection and its linear scent that never catches me.
I liked the scent, I notice the citrus at the start and all the facets, but like others, I apply it and it drops to skin level. It must be my pH, as they say it lasts for ages. Since I just bought it at a good price, I will give it another chance.
The citrus lasts five minutes and in the dry down the jasmine dominates, a bit sweet and almost unisex.
Laguna caught me by surprise. I’ve had it stashed away and use it as an olfactory balm in the afternoons; it gives a fresh, aquatic sensation with a mentholated touch that isn’t a strong ointment, but rather a blend of resins and sweet creams. I bought it blindly because it was said it might be discontinued and the English reviews were good. It turned out to be a total success. The opening is citrusy, as if smelling the resin of a lemon or orange peel, nothing piercing, wrapped in vanilla and tonka bean which add warmth without being cloying. Everything comes out light, with a marine and fresh air at the start. In the second phase, it gives a talcum sensation, powdery and delicate, like baby powder. It remains citrusy and gives a freshly bathed sensation. It is safe to stand out from generic fresh scents; it is versatile, sometimes sweet, sometimes marine. It projects well for the first hour and then drops to skin level, but lasts about six hours with moderate sillage. For the price, it is a good option for informal outings or personal use. In the end, it resembles JPG’s Le Male a little, more oriental with vanilla and musk.
Perhaps it’s a matter of personal taste, but I don’t like this perfume at all. I don’t feel it’s youthful. It’s very linear; I only perceive jasmine from start to finish. Moreover, on my skin its performance isn’t very good: weak longevity and a moderate to low trail. It’s only noticeable for the first few minutes, then it becomes very soft; perhaps it smells better on clothes. I don’t recommend it; I only use it because someone gifted it to me.
Perhaps it is a matter of personal taste, but I do not like this perfume at all. It does not feel youthful to me. It is very linear; I only detect jasmine from start to finish. Furthermore, on my skin, the performance is poor: the longevity is weak and the trail is moderate to low. It is only noticeable for the first few minutes, then becomes very soft, perhaps smelling better on clothes. I do not recommend it; I only wear it because it was a gift.
Extremely soft, leaving a light trail before settling into a powdery, sweet skin scent that is incredibly pleasant and seductive. Perfect for romantic dates or personal indulgence. It lasts around 4-5 hours on the skin and up to 12 on clothes. I’ve received many compliments. The notes are subtle: a faint sweet mandarin citrus, creamy sandalwood, a floral I believe is cyclamen rather than jasmine, powdery cleanliness from white musk, sweetness with hints of coumarin, and finally, a fresh floral salvia note with time. Recommended for those who love soft, talc-like florals. To me, it is exquisite.
It’s a soft perfume that leaves a light trail before settling into a second skin, slightly powdery and sweet. Very pleasant as a clean and discreet scent, ideal for romantic outings or intimate encounters if you seek something clean, discreet, and slightly sweet. Or simply for personal enjoyment. Duration is 4 to 5 hours, though on clothes up to 12 hours. It brought me many compliments. The notes are hard to distinguish: I perceive a very slight sweet citrus opening of mandarin, creaminess from sandalwood, a floral note I assume is cyclamen rather than jasmine, a powdery sensation from white musk, sweet notes with flashes of coumarin, and over time some fresh floral salvia. Recommended for those who love soft, slightly powdery, lightly sweet, and floral fragrances. Personally, I find it exquisite.
After buying the women’s version, I got curious about the men’s and was surprised by the huge similarity. Laguna Homme opens further from the women’s version, much fresher due to a citrus cocktail (mandarin, bergamot, lemon, and lime) combined with lemon grass, instead of a fruity mix. At first impression it seems more masculine, but don’t be fooled: it’s unisex. After the initial phase, it becomes sweeter, with vanilla taking the spotlight alongside tonka, jasmine, cedar, sandalwood, and musk. Although there’s no iris, it has a dusty hint, perhaps from Persian violet or the musk. It’s quite versatile, suitable for daily wear because its sweetness doesn’t overwhelm in warm climates or enclosed spaces. Good price makes it ideal for everyday use, with decent performance (a bit below the women’s version) and it doesn’t bother anyone. 100% recommended.
For years I avoided this fragrance due to prejudice, thinking that blue bottle would be marine and sharp, just another generic one. This year I discovered Laguna for Women and I love it: fresh, original, with citrus touches, vanilla, musk, and fruity notes. I had to try the men’s version to break my prejudice. What a surprise: Laguna for Men is very similar to the women’s but without the fruity aspect, featuring loud coumarin and tonka bean. They blend with the vanilla to create a sweet, smoky, earthy, and almond-like aroma that enriches the composition. The women’s version plays with vanilla but doesn’t reach this intensity; the men’s version doubles down and adds cedar, turning the essence towards masculinity, though it remains unisex. The citrus opening is short-lived; the stars are the base notes. Moderate trail, incredible longevity, and unbeatable price. A beauty in its current version.
Wow, truly excellent scent and longevity, making it unique. I bought it blind and liked it; I recommend it.
Exquisite fragrance. Very good citrus opening, followed by vanilla standing out with stiletto-like touches of musk. A brilliant combination. Perhaps it has similarities to Boucheron Jaipur, but the feeling is subjective. Greetings from Argentina to all perfume lovers.
An interesting fragrance: it opens citrusy like Blue Jeans, then floral and vanilla notes emerge before flattening into a floral profile reminiscent of The Dreamer. If you enjoy those two, this is a great choice; for the price, it is well worth it, sitting nicely between them. Projection is moderate with good longevity. Ideal for spring and summer; it feels fresh yet not aquatic. They are right about the lagoon-like vibe, thanks to the blend of green and floral notes.
An interesting fragrance. It opens citrusy like Blue Jeans, then floral and vanilla notes emerge, before settling into the dry down where it resembles The Dreamer. If you like both, go for this; it’s worth the price as it sits between the two. Moderate projection and good longevity, ideal for spring and summer. It feels fresh but not aquatic. The green floral blend is spot on, smelling of a lagoon environment.
A pleasant surprise. Very nice for hot nights. Its opening is unique; I don’t compare it to others, although I’ve received good comments about its fresh trail.
Very cheap, but the packaging is poor quality; the plastic peels away. The blue scent is moderate to low. It costs three dollars, meaning the plant itself must be around a dollar.
Very cheap, but the packaging is poor quality; the plastic lifts up. The blue is moderate to low. It costs three dollars, so the plant version must cost around one dollar.
One of the best fresh floral options, moving away from the typical blue vibe. It has sweetness and freshness, is super versatile for any occasion, and doesn’t bother even if you overapply. It works all year round. Definitely a must-have; if possible, look for an older batch before the reformulation as the ingredients last longer. Moderate projection for the first two hours, lasting up to eight hours. Recommended.
