This perfume evolves over time; I adore the top notes, that mint combined with the various citrus fruits, it’s a marvel. Then it shifts to something more floral, making me think of something more unisex. It finishes with an exquisite musk; on my skin, it lasts about seven hours. The scent comes and goes, seeming to have vanished only to be perceived again quite harmoniously. It’s a lovely perfume.
A rich fragrance with a semi-classic cut (somewhat typical for this brand), nothing groundbreaking but it delivers. In my opinion, it leans more towards feminine than unisex. Based on my tests, it doesn’t seem to have great longevity, but as a scent, I’ve enjoyed it… though I don’t see myself wearing it because it feels too feminine for me.
L’Eau Mixte de Nicolaï is a juicy bomb of citrus and real green mint, with a floral touch that lends effortless elegance. It rests on a subtle base of vetiver and patchouli with a slightly amber undertone. It’s fresh, clean, and highly versatile, perfect for warm climates. Reminds me of You or Someone Like You by ELDO, though L’Eau Mixte smells more aromatic and natural. There’s also a certain air of Torino 21 by Xerjoff, but without that artificial finish. Everything smells real, fresh, and even appetising from the first spray. It’s already on my shopping list.
