  It has no selling points. I was looking for something like ‘Scalpers Kids’, extremely simple but fulfilling its purpose in a specific niche; instead, I came across a poor citrus that doesn’t last past ten minutes and is very subtle from the start. Sincerely, if you want a product for a child going to school and also for the father, simple but functional… buy Puig’s Sportman, good, pretty, and cheap.

  A new venture by El Ganso that has become the best I’ve tried in terms of value for money this year. A bright, sparkling citrus opening that gives way to a bergamot flower combined with mint, adding freshness and creating a totally unisex scent, for all ages, cheerful and energetic, ideal for spring and summer. It lasts about six hours on my skin and costs less than €30 for 125 ml; it’s a pleasure to find such ventures in the current market. Sincerely, to those who say it lasts less than ten minutes… they should check their watches.

  I bought it after some YouTube reviews; I liked it and purchased it. The scent is different and pleasant, but the performance… is poor. I know it’s citrus and that entails less longevity, but it feels very little. Perfumes are for others to smell and for you to smell yourself; with this ‘like father’, no one smells you, and you don’t either shortly after applying it, unless you press your nose right up to it. I’m sorry, once and no more, Saint Thomas.

  I’ve read my colleagues’ reviews regarding longevity and scent. They’re right, but one must remember that almost the entire composition consists of natural ingredients suitable for children; the fixatives aren’t the same, which affects performance. A child wouldn’t stand up to a beast mode, no matter how citrusy it is. The great idea is an essence for a father and son to share. It seems like a marketing coup: who hasn’t entered their parents’ room to secretly try their dad’s perfumes? Now it will be the dad entering the son’s room to put his own on. Its weakness lies there too: it’s a clean, musky floral citrus that feels immature on a man and slightly adult on a child, but that was the intention. Give it a try in these 40-degree days. Cheers!   Now that I own the bottle, I can speak with authority: it’s an exquisite, juicy citrus that isn’t sharp, truly shouting quality. As a citrus, it won’t last forever, but on my skin it reaches six hours, though mostly close to the skin. Ideal for avoiding overwhelming others in extreme heat or enclosed spaces. I got compliments as soon as I left the shop; two friends asked me about it immediately. There’s no age limit, from the youngest to the oldest. I’ll let it macerate for a while; perhaps it will improve, but for now, it’s a very good and affordable purchase.
