It’s almost a copy of the Nautica Voyager, perhaps less aquatic. I still like it, but… is it practical to have both in the collection if they’re so similar? It doesn’t seem to last long; of all I tested today, this one lost the most projection, measured at the same time as the others.

  • DavidLalique

It smells almost the same but isn’t exactly identical. I own both, and if you apply one on each wrist, the Voyager and the N-83, they don’t smell the same initially, but after a while they follow the same pattern. An EDT for daily use in hot or moderate climates. Didn’t you like it in the end?

  • The opening is exquisite, but I’m disappointed that on my skin it doesn’t last, lacks sillage, or has longevity. A very fresh fragrance. I’d rate it 2.5 out of 5. It disappointed me a bit, although the scent is pleasant. It’s a pity the marine notes fade quickly. I wouldn’t recommend it to start a collection. It’s good for after a shower to stay fresh.

  • It’s very similar to the Nautica Voyage we know, but saltier. Its longevity is slightly shorter. I love the opening, but between this and the original, I prefer the Voyage for being more aquatic. The N-83 is a good option given its low price of $17.

  • As others say, it smells very much like the Voyage. I’ve tested it alongside both, and the N-83 has less projection, becoming more intimate, which I like. It suits many tastes and stands out in warm climates by providing freshness.

  • It’s like a Nautica Voyage but with a creamy finish, akin to a body lotion. Very clean and fresh for daytime; it lasts a long time if you apply several drops, which is how it works.

It’s a creamy and very clean fragrance, it makes you feel neat. In my experience, I’ve received compliments saying I smell fresh, literally people have told me I smell like just bathed. Obviously, it doesn’t last long if you use few sprays, but if you apply the necessary amount, it lasts about six hours.

I bought it by mistake; I had the Voyage Classic and this one, but seeing the box I liked the map and didn’t notice they were different. It was much later I realised. For my nose, the N 83 is softer and more intimate. Personally, I like it a bit more than the classic, although both are 100% recommended.

Clean, neat, correct, hygienic and masculine. Smells like just out of the shower. Ideal for summer or the office. That said, nothing novel or original here. Excellent price, recommended if you don’t want to invest in expensive perfumes.

  • Very rich, clean and above all fresh scent. Very good for hot days, with moderate projection and very long-lasting. Recommended for daily use; if you go to the gym you’ll feel super fresh and smelling great.

  • It’s a good fresh scent, but it doesn’t last at all, nothing. It seems to be from Zara, those that don’t last even 45 minutes.

  • The scent is very pleasant, a delight. It’s a pity it doesn’t last more than four hours; if its longevity and projection were a little stronger, they would create an incredible personal aura. With higher-quality ingredients it would be a jewel, but you can’t expect too much from an affordable fragrance. It delivers and is worth it.

  • I don’t know why it doesn’t last long for others; I tried it today. It comes out citrusy and marine, like sea water, with little projection at first. Once it dries down, it smells clean and rich, probably due to the lavender, with hints of mint and salt. It’s not a beast, but it throws good bursts between 30 minutes and three hours. At 11:25 pm, after a shower, it was still noticeable right on the skin. Excellent price, generates compliments and everyone likes it. Ideal for heat, the office, the gym or a date. Perhaps I’d only swap it for Nautica Voyage Classic or Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction. Longevity: 9/10, Projection: 7/10, Scent: 8.5/10, Value for money: 9/10. Batch 2014.

I was gifted it in winter and when I wore it I felt strange, thinking it wasn’t good. Months passed, the weather changed, and when I tried it on a hot day I realised it’s extremely good; it smells of the seaside and refreshes you. I recommend it for anyone living in heat and it’s an excellent gift due to its low price.

As a woman, I love smelling this on a man, especially in summer. It’s clean, fresh and neat, without being overwhelming. Given the price and quality, it’s worth it; it’s perfect for everyday wear and I’ve given it to my father a million times over.

As a woman, I love smelling this fragrance on a man, especially in summer and hot days. It’s clean, fresh, and neat, doesn’t overwhelm anyone, and is worth it for the price. Ideal for daily use; I’ve gifted it to my father countless times.

  • Bought it eight months ago and it didn’t quite take to me at first; I wore it all summer then put it away in the cold. A few days later, I tested it on my skin and noticed that, thanks to the maceration, the scent had softened and become sweeter, leaving behind that initial saltiness. Now it’s a 10 for me.

  • The cardamom and nutmeg contained in the heart notes make this flanker of the Voyage line something with more presence, suitable for a slightly more formal event; mind you, I’m not saying it’s merely formal, but it can be worn at a casual event, such as a dinner with friends or a beach meeting. Personally, it’s the version I’ve liked most within the Nautica Voyage line, although I still need to try the Midnight version.

In my opinion, this perfume in the air feels like Creed Aventus; I don’t know why.

  • SuperMegaUltraPro

It has macerated a bit already; at first, like most perfumes, its composition never feels quite right, but now, after a few weeks, the notes are starting to come out more balanced. I find it very fresh, very marine, feeling cold; I love that very neutral mint touch; it feels like the lavender gives it a clean note, and that accord of mint with lavender and marine notes is fabulous, making it feel crisp and very clean. The nutmeg also suits it well; it smells very fresh but without adding sweetness or too much spice like other perfumes. This is very well made; I don’t think there’s anyone who wouldn’t like it; it’s not a scent that overwhelms you and doesn’t smell cheap, yet it performs quite well.

  • I loved it, much better than the classic Voyage; I’d buy it again without hesitation. It’s used every day of the year, and I’ve received many compliments for this scent.

  • Excellent perfume. Unfortunately, it has short longevity. It’s an excellent combination. Its marine opening isn’t as subtle as in other blue fragrances; this one is more mineral and floral. In its dry down, it has a gentlemanly, cheerful, soft, musky scent, even a bit talc-like, the distinctive hallmark of Voyage, but with an abundance of lavender, very rich and natural, a subtle and refreshing mint with petit grain and cardamomo notes. A strong scent and the sweetness of lavender are its hallmarks, alongside the musky base and a touch of cedar. Together with the sweetness of the sandalwood, they make a magnificent fragrance. I don’t see it for daily wear; it’s casual and informal. Its only flaw is the longevity, a maximum of two hours, then it’s skin-scent for another four; it lasts a bit longer on clothes with a good trail. I recommend it more for summer climates, enclosed spaces, meetings, and outdoors with a breeze, not in intense heat. Use it without guilt; its composition is very good and quite original.

  • I loved it, much better than the classic Voyage; I would buy it again without hesitation. It can be worn every day of the year; I’ve received compliments for this scent.

  • Not recommended: it has a sweet mint note, like toothpaste. Poor longevity and projection. The classic Voyage is much better.

  • Cadena2901

It’s a masculine fragrance that smells very pleasant. I wore it one day and the next day the scent remained on the car seatbelt, smelling absolutely delicious. I recommend it for hot days.

  • This perfume is perfect for hot days like the ones we’re heading into, just like the classic Voyage. It’s the best of Nautica… highly recommended! That said, it does smell a bit similar to Hugo Boss Bottled Infinite.

  • First impressions: I’ll adjust this review once it has settled and oxygenated. It’s autumn and quite cool, which isn’t ideal for this fragrance. The opening is spicy mint with a lavender base; a pleasant summery touch, but nothing revolutionary. The issue is that its evolution is simply the same scent fading without changing, unlike the original Voyage which did evolve. The good news is it doesn’t smell bad and is cheap, yet it doesn’t smell cheap. It smells very similar to Kaiak Ultra, which I prefer. We’ll see in spring how it performs and if it oxygenates properly.

I own almost all the Nauticas available online and I have to say this is the WORST. If you want your first Nautica, go straight for Voyage. N83 smells nice… but very synthetic, with terrible longevity of about 30 minutes. I feel it’s going nowhere, a medium sticky, synthetic and muted scent. The listed notes are a joke; you can’t even perceive the mint or lavender. Fortunately, it’s cheap (20-30 USD), I ended up gifting it. If you decide to buy it, keep in mind it’s for a younger audience (15 to 25 years), informal settings like playing football and better suited for warm climates.

  • AxelELQHueleRico

I’ve finished my first bottle and I must say it smells lovely; projection and longevity are low-to-medium, but for the price it’s a good perfume.

  • If you know Nautica Voyage, you know it’s a steal. Fresh, clean and cheap. When N-83 comes out promising the same spirit with a different twist, it’s natural to be annoyed. The base is there: it still smells of sea, breeze and a nice guy in flip-flops. But you can tell they’ve stretched the original’s gum. The sea note lasts less, the mint comes out a bit forced and smells slightly synthetic. It doesn’t bother, but it doesn’t enchant either. The best part is it’s ideal for heat, doesn’t project much and is perfect to keep in the back of the car to reapply without worry. It costs a bit more than Voyage, seems cruel, but remains reasonable if you like the style and want something different without risking your wages. It’s not the best flanker, but not an olfactory crime either. It’s the kind of perfume you buy to try and ends up living in the car, doing exactly what it’s meant to do.

  • I love it more than the ‘niche-killer’; it lasts less but smells better. Without that annoying cucumber note, it does have apple, aquatic notes and green mint, very good value for the price.

  • A ‘meh’. It’s a lighter version of Nautica Voyage. If you have the original, it’s not worth it. And if you don’t, go for that one before this.

  • It came on promotion with two other Nautica perfumes. In my opinion, it’s good, but between this and the original Voyage, I’d stick with the Voyage. This one smells nice but is very weak, projects nothing and lasts an hour. Good only for working out or staying at home.

  • Jorge Fonseca

Veritas recommended it and wasn’t wrong. It’s the necessary twist, a niche-killer just like the original Voyage but with a spicier, more present dry-down. It shares the original’s shortcomings: if you’re looking for something longer-lasting, it’s not it. If you want to smell good without smelling exactly like your office mates, then yes. Mentholated and salty opening, drying down to sweet and woody.

  • Wow, Voyage is rich, but this N-83 smells more like a clean, elegant man. I wish it lasted longer and left a better trail; it’s like the pretty girl who just plays around and never gets to third base. Total surprise: despite the poor longevity, I’d buy it again. Scent 10/10, Longevity 6/10, Projection 5/10.

  • Just received it from Juleriaque for around 20k pesos, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. It smells more like a ‘refined’ insect repellent than a perfume: a flat scent with almost non-existent longevity and projection. Only worth it if you fancy smelling like OFF.
