Wearing it today, I feel wrapped in a dreamy mist; the violet dominates on my skin, reigning supreme, yet without losing that sweet vanilla or the breath-taking, masterful resins. I can’t find the oud among the violet and rose petals; perhaps I’m used to associating it with something strong or medicinal? Here, the oud sits in the background, gentle and refined—a facet that has captivated me. To me, the woman of Nostalgia is one who obsessively cares for her hair, hands, and skin, always immaculate and distilling femininity with every step. She sports natural hairstyles and dresses in fine lace and silk, with simple cuts that are perfect for her. She knows exactly what suits her, chic and maximally feminine, someone no one forgets. Nostalgia isn’t just a pretty perfume; it’s hypnotic. The quality of its notes is palpable, and its trail is endless. I search for the oud among the violet and rose petals but can’t find it; perhaps because I usually associate it with something strong or medicinal?   I absolutely love it. It smells like a distinct, dusty rose with a dark twist and a blackberry base (perhaps due to the violet). I haven’t tried MFK’s Oud Satin Mood, but this is fantastic; plus, no one around you will know what you’re wearing.
