A perfume with a stunning opening, reminiscent of the Opus Library from Amouage, sharing the same style. It begins powerfully with rose, violet, and vanilla over a non-shouting oud base that simply adds a woody touch. The scent feels powdery, floral, and woody. After half an hour, it balances out, the balsamic notes rise, and it becomes slightly darker. As it dries down, the florals recede, highlighting the vanilla, oud, and resins. A very good experience: the trail and projection are vigorous for the first two hours before settling into a personal bubble, detectable at arm’s length for another seven hours. It’s unisex, perhaps leaning feminine at the start. Ideal for casual and semi-formal wear, versatile for all seasons except extreme heat. It will truly be appreciated from the age of 30 onwards.
