  It’s very similar to Xerjoff’s More Than Words, but with a touch of saffron and apple that makes it fresher! If you like woody-floral scents with spices, you’ll be fascinated by it. It’s absolutely worth it for the price-to-performance ratio; it’s one of the best niches in this area. In short, it’s a beast. Be careful with the sprays as you can easily overwhelm the room, since this fragrance gains strength over time. Lasts around 14 to 15 hours (maybe even more). It can be worn in almost any climate and is completely unisex.

  What a rose, even though I’m not usually a fan of heavily floral fragrances. Here, there’s no fresh natural rose, but rather a creamy extract with warm spices (zero sharpness), woods, and concentrated accords. It’s not the scent of a garden you pass through; it’s like a warehouse filled with tons of roses. The development is stable: a spiced opening, followed by musk and patchouli that give it a distinctive presence without being piercing. I love it. It suits men very well, though less so for heat or special occasions. The performance is from another galaxy: it projects a lot and lasts all day. The price has gone up, but it meets all the demands of a niche fragrance.

  Jeroboam Oriento is floral, warm, and spiced, all centred around the rose. It opens with a strong, deep, slightly dark rose, accompanied by plenty of saffron that adds a spicy note to highlight the flower. As it dries down, you notice a creamy sandalwood and a touch of patchouli; occasionally, a hint of apple fruit note appears very subtly in the background. The rose dominates the entire life of the perfume, showcasing dark, deep, fresh, and intense nuances. Basically, here the rose displays all its possible facets in a single scent. It’s oriental, ambered, and floral, with immense intensity and depth. Lasts around 9 to 10 hours with intense projection.

  A floral-fruity fragrance with an amber base, dominated by a striking rose that pairs beautifully with patchouli. It isn’t as balanced as Monegal’s Flamenco (which is fruitier), but it’s a beast in terms of projection and longevity, leaving a heavy trail. It sits right on the edge of unisex, leaning slightly feminine. Very similar to Tiziana Terenzi’s Gold Rose Oudh: same rose, but here the apple and lime provide the fruity touch, whereas in the TT, bergamot adds the citrus element and a non-animalistic oud gives it more character. In a direct showdown, I’d stick with the TT. Ideal for elegant wear in cooler climates, nights out, and evening events.
