A complex scent: it begins with a very soft, high-quality oud. On the skin, the mango and passion fruit stand out, while the oud emerges more as it dries, adding a woody touch. It reminds me of Maison Crivelli’s Oud Maracujá for about 30 minutes before developing its own unique character. It lasts 10 hours; the projection is beastly for the first hour, then settles, but you can still smell it at two metres. One of Fugazzi’s best: I’ve tried Sugardaddy, Angel Dust, No Cologne and Saint Remy, but I’d stick with Passionfroudh.

A complex aroma at first with the oud note, but it’s very soft and of good quality. Once on skin, you feel more mango and passion fruit; as it dries down, the oud becomes more apparent, but it smells quite good, giving a soft and woody touch. It reminds me of the Oud Maracuyá by Maison Crivelli, but only for 30 minutes; afterwards, it has a unique aroma. The longevity is 10 hours, and regarding projection, the first hour is a beast; afterwards, it calms down, or it’s what makes you believe, because people can still smell it on you from 2 metres away. One of the best from Fugazzi. I’ve tried Sugar Daddy, Angel Dust, No Cologne, and Saint Remy, but I’d stick with Passionfroudh.

Passionfroudh! And although its name includes passion fruit, I feel that note has little relevance or impact on the scent; when mixed with the mango, which is quite predominant, the passion fruit loses its effervescence. The opening is quite fruity, where you can feel a ripe, orange mango, soft and juicy, the kind where the juices spill out when you bite it… With certain nuances of passion fruit and a slight bitterness from the tea, the oud is perceived in the background. After about an hour, the perfume loses 85% of its fruity notes and the oud takes centre stage. This note has two facets: aquatic-woody; it’s a wearable scent, nothing overwhelming or dark, but sweet from start to finish. In the first hour, you’ll feel a quite present aroma and an intense aura in your surroundings; afterwards, you’ll only catch occasional bursts that accompany you until the scent fades. Despite being an extract, its longevity isn’t the best if compared to its sibling from Fugazzi Oncologne, which can surpass 8 hours. Its quality is very notable, and we must keep in mind that the oud is real, so it feels authentic, a true quality that perhaps very few perfumes can match.

With Oud Maracuyá already existing, Passionfroudh is a total inspiration, flanker, or clone, however you want to call it. But this isn’t negative; on the contrary! What a fantastic perfume! A delight of tropical fruits at the opening with a masculine oud base, abundant in presence, manliness, aura, all the good things of a men’s fragrance. Simply delicious. There’s nothing more to add about this fragrance.

  • I tested this perfume on my skin and it’s 99% Oud Maracujá. If you own one of the two, don’t bother buying the other; if Oud Maracujá feels too aggressive for you, go for this one. I was about to purchase it because I don’t wear Oud Maracujá on normal days, only at night as it’s quite bold. This is softer and more subtle.

It seems similar to the creation by Maison Crivelli, but slightly fruitier and less woody than the original. Compared to Oud Maracuyá, which I adore, in my opinion it can hold its own. No detail has been spared: the oud is deep and present, but never overwhelming or animalic. It’s not a rough blast, but an elegant and refined oud that integrates perfectly. The opening is a sweet, intense fruity firework display; not synthetic, but pure and juicy passion fruit. It has great impact but remains very natural. The peculiarity of Passionfroudh is that the sweetness fades gently, leaving more space for the oud. Instead of falling into something heavy and dark, the oud acquires a surprising softness, intertwining with the fruity vibe. The result unites opposites: tropical yet deep, present but not intrusive. Passionfroudh conquers you instantly if you try it. Perhaps because it reminds me of Brazil: cheerful, intense, full of life, with a warm and irresistible soul. Approved.

  • I was able to try it on skin today, and it’s 99% Oud Maracuyá. If you have one of the two, don’t bother looking for the other. The only thing: for people who find Oud Maracuyá too aggressive, buy this one instead. I was about to purchase it because I can’t wear the original on a normal day, only at night; it’s very challenging. This one is softer, more subtle.

  • Basically, it’s a more feminine oud passion fruit, with less presence and character from the oud. It’s more similar to the cosmetic woody tone of Ombre Nomada and has a less masculine style than the original. If I have to choose, I would definitely stick with Oud Maracuyá.

  • It’s a version of Oud Maracuyá with several differences. I won’t focus on reviewing Passionfroudh in isolation, but rather compare it to Oud Maracuyá, which is one of my favourites. Fugazzi opens with bright passion fruit and mango, blending with the woody tone of the oud, which is very soft compared to the original. The original has a darker, more complex opening, with an acidic passion fruit wrapped in saffron and a more prominent oud. Later, in Passionfroudh, the tropical notes fade and blend with the woody and fruity elements; I don’t detect the cypriol. In Oud Maracuyá, the evolution is more complex: the passion fruit fades without disappearing, and a soft rose and leather base emerge. I prefer Oud Maracuyá; it becomes deeper and has more nuances. I see Passionfroudh as ideal for those who find the original too dark or potent, or for anyone seeking a more unisex and versatile version. I haven’t tested Fugazzi enough to comment on longevity, but OM is absolutely nuclear: three sprays last perfectly for 16 hours.

  • It’s a variant of Oud Maracujá with key differences. I won’t write a deep review of Passionfroudh, but rather compare it with my favourite, Oud Maracujá. Fugazzi opens with bright passion fruit and mango, underpinned by a very soft woody oud, much less intense than in Oud Maracujá. The latter has a darker, more complex opening, with an acidic passion fruit wrapped in saffron and a more prominent oud. Later on, in Passionfroudh, the tropical notes fade and blend with the woody and fruity aspects; I don’t detect the cypriol. In Oud Maracujá, the evolution is more complex: the passion fruit recedes without disappearing, giving way to a delicate rose and leather. For me, Oud Maracujá is deeper and more nuanced. I see Passionfroudh as ideal if Oud Maracujá feels too dark or potent, or for those seeking a more unisex and versatile version. I haven’t tested many Fugazzi fragrances to comment on longevity, but Oud Maracujá is nuclear: three sprays last 16 hours.

It’s very potent and you’ll notice it for a long time. The only downside is that several people told me it smells like pomade, so I don’t use it much for that reason, but it is an absolute stunner.

  • It’s oud, passion fruit, mango, green tea, and a touch of cypriol. It’s less heavy, more wearable, and more daytime-appropriate than the original Oud Maracuyá; if you like that scent but find it a bit too one-note, you’ll love this.

What a joy! This is a super elegant fragrance. As the name suggests, it follows passion fruit with mango and ginger, finishing with oud. I think it’s totally unisex and it’s already on my wishlist.

  • thesongofhecate

A pleasant surprise; it’s an elegant fragrance where passion fruit predominates, followed by mango and ginger, closing with oud. I feel it’s totally unisex, and I’ve already added it to my wishlist.
