After about five hours with it, I must say I’m not convinced. Regarding performance, it’s letting me down, or at least it doesn’t last on my skin; I’ve worn it for five hours and can only smell it up close. The scent is pleasant and you can tell it’s quality, yes, but it hasn’t quite won me over. It smells herbal and fresh, relatively clean/saapy, mixed with orange/mandarin peel, a cardamom base, and a bright, fresher note which might be those ‘solar notes’ listed (what on earth are those?). As it dries down, something of honey and woods emerges, but very subtly. As I said, it smells very good; it’s a green, fresh, natural scent, very well blended, and likely to please many people, but mainly due to its poor performance it doesn’t earn my approval. I’ll give it more chances.
I applied a very light touch to my hand over an hour ago and it already shows good longevity and sillage; at normal doses (5-7 sprays), it will surely perform brilliantly. It’s not an identical clone, but it reminds me a lot of Prada Infusion d’Iris. Update: I’ve tested it side by side and yes, there are similarities in the mandarin, iris, and cedar/wood notes. Prada uses rose, whereas this has a violet note that is nothing invasive. Perhaps the musky and honeyed touch takes some of the violet’s spotlight, although the honey note is very subtle and not cloying. I like it and I’m adding it to my wishlist.
