Descripción
Sublimizia by Bruno Perrucci Parfums is an oriental woody fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2022, this composition was created by the nose Bruno Perrucci. The top notes reveal a sweet and spicy accord with caramel, dill, orange and citrus; the heart unfolds with licorice, vanilla, ylang-ylang and valley lily (spikenard); while the base notes land on a warm and persistent foundation of ambergris, sandalwood, patchouli and musk.

Buff, I absolutely love the licorice scent; at first, it reminds me of black licorice from when I was a small child, and I just adore it.
If you’re over thirty and think this perfume is a composition with a slight, friendly touch of licorice, I’ll tell you that idea is far from reality. Sublimizia is a gourmand fragrance where the protagonist is licorice throughout the entire life of the perfume. It’s not a stick licorice, but rather dark caramel, à la Juanola. That initial punch in the face of licorice can leave you a bit confused about what you’ve just applied. Consequently, the evolution will always take place behind that gourmand note. This great aromatic escalation in the opening decays slowly as the scent advances and relaxes in the dry-down, shortly after an hour of application. Sublimizia is a delicacy for collectors or those who enjoy intense gourmands. There’s no problem with performance or projection; in my case, it reaches a minimum of 9 hours on skin and projects well for two hours. However, I don’t find it versatile due to its intense gourmand nature. For any adult over thirty, it would be complicated to find frequent occasions to wear it. So the 50ml bottle, which isn’t cheap, could last you a lifetime. Nevertheless, if your tastes change with age, this fragrance has its audience (rather young) and you’ll be able to swap or sell it with relative ease. Sublimizia shines more in the shoulder seasons (spring and autumn) and I’d recommend it for any informal leisure or clubbing situation, but I advise against wearing it to work or more formal circumstances. In other words, it doesn’t fit the range of elegant formality, but rather the capricious or playful. As always recommended, don’t rely solely on the rating; test any niche perfume on skin before the final purchase to avoid surprises and don’t trust exclusively in the scent on the paper. For any fragrance by Bruno Perrucci, I strongly advise it, especially having the opportunity to order samples online.
This perfume changes the olfactory course you’re on in perfumery; it doesn’t resemble anything I’ve tried before. An out-of-this-world licorice/ambergris combo. It has been an honour to smell an incredible experience on the licorice note; it is the most realistic I’ve tried. From start to finish, you have dense licorice right on your face, top quality, slightly boozy, alcoholic, sweetly woody without being fully gourmand. The ambergris lingers, possessing that slightly animalic facet you don’t notice at first, but if you test Sublimizia several times, you’ll realise it’s there front and centre with the licorice. It’s blended so well that you feel the perfume doesn’t change; it stays linear because the notes are coupled perfectly in a masterful symphony. The dill, along with the citrus and orange, feels at the start like a fleeting explosion that revitalises and energises the licorice to give it life, shine and euphoria as it settles on the skin; that lasts about 20 minutes. The trifecta combo of licorice/ambergris/caramel makes your olfactory senses delight in a unique, purposeful and above all elegant composition without further ado. I admit it’s not a blind buy; it doesn’t resemble anything. Some people might imagine Au Masculine by Lolita Lempicka or any of her fragrances, but I’d love for Lolita to resemble this work of art; they aren’t equal, not even the licorice resembles it. Here, the quality and composition are on another level. Without a doubt, if you’re a fanatic of the anise, licorice or even ambergris note, beware of this; it can become addictive and be one of your favourites once you know it inside out. It did with me and it’s definitely in my top 10 for being addictive, elegant, artistic, creative and above all sensual.

I don’t know what this fragrance smells like; I can’t associate it with anything I’ve smelled before. The only thing I know is that I don’t like it.
This is another level in perfumery, absolutely brilliant and totally different from everything else!
I have no idea what this fragrance smells like; I cannot associate it with anything I’ve ever smelled before. The only thing I know is that I don’t like it.
Award-worthy, haha. It’s utterly unique; I’ve never smelled anything like it. It reminds me of those black anise sweets from my childhood that I didn’t much like, but here everything changes: it’s liquorice, ylang-ylang and tangerine. It gives a fresh, half-sweet touch, like a lemon dessert, with the creamy note of vanilla and the depth of ambergris. It has so many layers; it’s one of the few perfumes where you can feel all the notes, and each has its role in the evolution. It feels super hypnotic and novel. I love it for cool evenings.
