In a bitter world, we need sweetness that isn’t cloying, but fun and ironic, like Violamore. It’s a treasure chest of childhood dreams, the scent for new adventures. It awakens the lost playful side, when everything was possible and the world smelled of sweet beginnings. Everything revolves around the chewy Haribo liquorice, but with violet and anise that set it apart. The liquorice hits hard and lingers, while the development reveals all its facets. Special, nothing banal, love at first sniff: sweet, nostalgic and magical without being cloying, intimate and refined yet lively. It has drawn a big smile to my face, though I think it suits a female audience better.
