Lamar by Kajal is an oriental floral fragrance from the olfactive family, created for men and women. Launched in 2020, its composition was designed by perfumer Mark Buxton. The top notes unfold a tropical and exotic freshness with pineapple, red berries, apple, cardamom and coriander. The heart of the fragrance reveals a delicate and sensual bloom thanks to Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, magnolia and sambac jasmine. Finally, the base notes settle into a warm and enveloping accord formed by musk, vanilla, amber, cashmere wood, cedar and moss.

Absolute beast of a perfume! A fruity cocktail with an earthy moss base that makes it elegant yet youthful at the same time. Very versatile and delicate, ideal for any occasion. 100% recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️
Incredible scent, I adore it! A burst of juicy pineapple with red berries, rose and jasmine in the base. I can’t even bear to separate the notes: it’s a mood-lifting and party perfume. Super cheerful and vital, it brightens the day. Absolutely brilliant! Longevity and sillage are very respectable.
I have mixed feelings. It opens with a juicy, slightly tart fruity explosion of pineapple and blueberries. Then comes the floral side with velvety roses, which sounds delicious. However, pineapple on my skin isn’t always a winner: on mild days it’s fantastic, but in cold or intense heat it turns into tepache and I can’t handle it. There’s nothing wrong with the perfume itself; it’s just a matter of skin chemistry. Performance is good, lasting the working day, intense for the first 2 hours before dropping to skin-level after 6 hours. On clothes, it’s a different story; it stays impregnated for days. I’m torn between keeping it or letting it go; I like it but I’m not sure if it’s worth it to use just a couple of times a year :/
What a lovely perfume, incredible trail. At first, it smells of sweet, tender rose before giving way to an exquisite mix of pineapple and red berries. I’ve loved it; it has a tropical touch but remains very elegant. Truly excellent, you can tell the quality.

Lamar is madness; I’ve smelled more niche perfumes and none compare to Lamar. That sharp pineapple scent followed by roses and musk and amber notes is a complete delight. Go ahead and try it without fear, heartily recommended and spectacular.
Those who say it’s similar to BR540 are nothing like it. The original is a different show entirely, nothing like its dupes. I highly recommend Lamar by Kayal for fresh climates; it’s a perfume bomb 👌
When I read it’s fresh…, it doesn’t seem they’re talking about what I smelled. Excessively strong, it smells to me like a heavy men’s cologne; it was unbearable and I struggled to remove it from my skin, so the longevity is beastly. I had the sensation of smelling something dirty, so potent that it was annoying. It’s just each person’s olfactory perception…

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I found it identical to Delina Exclusif at the start and very similar to BCR540 when dried down. Undoubtedly it’s a beautiful perfume, but nothing I haven’t smelled before. Still, I like it 🤩
I have the 5ml sample that came with Almaz. It smells good, but it’s a very repetitive scent; as it dries down, it resembles BR540 but fresher. I wouldn’t buy it as I already own Mancera IC, which has many similarities. I see it as unisex suitable for all year round; it’s a good perfume.
I’m testing a decant and have received many compliments. The scent is very rich and elegant; I’ve loved it.
I absolutely adore Lamar. It’s a sweet, very ripe pineapple mixed with a touch of Baccarat Rouge, and as it dries down, it features the rose from Atomic Rose. My only issue is that I don’t notice the ‘beastmode’ everyone talks about. Perhaps it’s due to the decant or olfactory fatigue. In my opinion, it’s unisex with a feminine tendency and works all year (though it could be heavy in excessive heat). The bottle is pure luxury and the perfume is high quality. It’s not a safe blind buy. Ciaoooo
What on earth are they talking about regarding Bacarat? Not even close. Lamar is a nuclear bomb of ripe, sweet pineapple that follows you all day. One of my favourites for that elegant sweetness.

I bought a sample because YouTube advertising caught my eye; I already own Dahab, which is a gem. To the point: the opening doesn’t suit me at all; it’s too strong and harsh for my taste, but I admit I’m starting to like it once it settles. I’m not sure if I’ll buy it one day; I’ll keep testing it. The truth is, it does grow on me over time, but I’ve also applied very little because this perfume goes a long way.
At first, the pineapple and red fruits are very noticeable with a spicy touch. Then it becomes more powdery, and the sweet pineapple remains, not fresh; also, the rose is very prominent. I didn’t like this phase as it became too sweet for my taste; I prefer something fresher and younger. For me, it’s very sweet and cloying, even causing me a headache. I must highlight its great sillage and longevity. Without a doubt, I’ll stick with Dahab.

I find an initial fruity and sweet phase with pineapple as the protagonist, giving way to a middle floral phase but creamier than powdery on my skin, and finally drying down to a musky-ambered, more mature, dark, and tremendously sexy finish. It has tropical vibes but is very oriental at the same time. It’s sweet yet fresh. Opulent, attention-grabbing, but versatile. Similar to others but unique. Simply delicious. Although it’s categorised as unisex, I see it as much more feminine. As for performance, few match its height. And the bottle? A jewel for your vanity. If you’re looking for a rose scent far from the classic, something sexy and playful… here it is. Give it a try.

I bought Almaz and it comes with a small 3ml perfume vial of Lamar. I’d say it’s my least favourite. The pineapple is the most prominent note, but I don’t know why it doesn’t feel fresh to me. It has a lot of body and feels inclined towards masculine. But I won’t deny it’s delicious, truly a work of art. As for longevity? BEASTLY. As a note, it bears no resemblance to Baccarat, Delina, or Almaz. Don’t go out there sjjsjsj
I didn’t like it; it smells like barbecue. I own Dahab, Lamar, and Almaz, and this is the one that clings and gives me a headache. They hyped it up a lot and I wanted to own it, but now I regret it immensely 😩😫.
Absolutely not for me. It clings to my skin and gives me headaches. While it contains bean, amber, and musk, the bean note is the most irritating of the three. They hyped it up so much that I bought it, but now I’m thoroughly regretting it 😩😫
What I notice most is the pineapple mixed exquisitely with everything. The freshness of the pineapple is disturbingly seductive. On my skin, it changes and offers me different sensations. It has oriental and exotic touches. It is seductive, ideal for my nocturnal and mysterious taste. An exquisite alchemy to make yourself noticed
Every nose is different, but be careful not to overdo it, haha. Lamar has nothing to do with BR540. Lamar is fresh with a pleasant musk, whereas BR540 is cloying, heavy, burnt caramel, and even smells of blood to me. There is no comparison. I see Lamar as a blend of Aventus and Atomic Rose; I recognise the pineapple and rose from the originals. I bought it blind and I love it madly
My signature fragrance. It is unique, mysterious, spicy, extremely oriental, woody, with woods, fruit, and a ripe flower, not the typical old rose. It has great darkness and mature sweetness, smelling of something that turns heads and generates compliments. An aura that commands respect, sexy but not childish, with a nocturnal, wise, and experienced character. ^^ Best ever. Edit: I was left speechless seeing a comparison with BRouge540 here, is the nose correct?
