Let the Good Times Roll is probably my favourite Lush body spray among those I’ve tried. It lasts and projects massively on me; I’d dare to say more than most of the brand (given they all have very good performance). For cold weather only, of course. It can result in a somewhat strident and overwhelming aroma, especially if over-applied. To apply LTGTR, the further away and fewer sprays the better. Caramel and butter through and through with a tiny bit of salty and slightly strange alcoholic note (not unpleasant), especially in the first few hours, to remind us of the sweet popcorn we were promised. Then the liquor wants to evaporate and it becomes even sweeter, but also calmer. Finally, a delightful combination of caramel, vanilla and cinnamon, very enjoyable, cosy and clearly gourmand. I recommend trying it at least if you like this type of aroma and, although I wouldn’t buy it blindly because it’s a bit particular, for the price it’s well worth it (200 ml – 25€). I emphasise its longevity: SPECTACULAR, the Methuselah of sprays. To say it was discontinued and brought back, I suppose it was successful, although I don’t know if it will remain in the line.
On me, it smells of butter and caramel with a very soft hint of cinnamon… And yes, I like it. I think it’s special and can be layered with other perfumes; I just have to discover which ones work. I’m giving it a thumbs up. I bought it in summer and need to try it in autumn and winter to see how it performs and if it changes. I don’t sense the popcorn note anymore.
No, it’s clear I’m not a fan of Lush, or at least their fragrances aren’t for me… The day before yesterday, my first Lush body spray, HIWTK, arrived and I didn’t like it at all. I wanted to give the brand a chance and try others, so I ordered this. It arrived today, I tried it, and nothing; it just doesn’t work for me. It’s a bit of a struggle to wear, especially in the first few minutes, even the first hour. It’s super potent and gives me nausea. As the hours pass, the scent softens a little. It smells good, smells rich, super sweet… But too much for me. As I said, if you love super sweet aromas, this body spray will conquer you. Question: these two haven’t been for me, but I’m not saying they’re bad products, nor is the brand bad at all. In fact, I love the brand’s philosophy; I’m a huge fan. And the body sprays, really, if you like their scents, they’re brilliant. Super good value for the amount they contain (which isn’t small), they last a long time, have a good trail… A wonder if you find your scent. There are so many people worldwide who are super fans of their body sprays. But as I said, I won’t be buying more body sprays blindly. When we can move around the autonomous communities again, I’ll try to visit a Lush store one day and smell everything calmly; surely they have scents that are for me and I’ll love them! I repeat, as in the other review (HIWTK), that if you want to try their products, you have the peace of mind that you can return or exchange any you don’t like, which seems to me something wonderful, very well done by the company.
My skin tends to devour sweet notes, so I decided to go for a gourmand beast. Living in a humid tropical climate, I sprayed this once in the bathroom and the scent reached the next room; it bombards the nose to the point of being quite abrasive and cloying. I was terrified to try it on my skin and worry I’d get tired of it within a single day. Edit: The more I use it, the fruitier it seems, as if there’s a battle between sweet fruits and caramel. I’ve ended up spraying it twice. I can still smell it and it lasts all day. The downside is I need to be in the mood to wear it; generally, I like it when I want to smell strong or when it’s cold, and it’s very informal. Another point is the presentation; I prefer Lush’s simple glass bottles; they just look more aesthetic to me.
I absolutely love this sweet, caramelised scent with a salty popcorn twist, finishing with a creamy buttery note. It’s perfect for chilly days when I want to snuggle up with this aroma. The trail and longevity are excellent; I’m already obsessed and planning to buy the full bottle.
I no longer like it; over time, it has felt very synthetic, like nail polish remover but slightly sweet… Very strange. Now I use it to scent the room.
Just for gourmand superfans. This Lush body spray smells of caramel and butter cookies with a nice salty kick, though I can’t quite distinguish the popcorn note. The longevity and trail are brutal. Beware of over-spraying, or you’ll make both yourself and the neighbours sick. A proper beast from Lush, not suitable for those who don’t enjoy sweets.
This is the sweetest thing I’ve ever tried! If you’re looking for pure, realistic, and long-lasting sweetness with a trail that knocks out even your grandmother, this is for you. Upon spraying, it literally smells like opening a bag of Evercrisp caramel popcorn—the sweetest in the world that actually sting the teeth. I absolutely love it; it’s perfect for the sickly-sweet people like me.
Honestly, for me, it was too much. It’s super realistic—an entertaining experience that smells like goat (as we say in Chile) from Evercrisp, overloaded with lard, caramel, and SUGAR, and… it lasts FOREVER. Don’t miss the chance to try it; it’s gourmand in all its glory.
This spray is the most gourmet scent I’ve ever smelled; I can practically taste it, and my salivary glands go into overdrive with those volatile compounds. It smells like double-butternut caramel popcorn—definitely not for diabetics. The longevity and intensity are impressive for a body mist; many expensive perfumes don’t even come close. You leave a trail wherever you go, and people wonder where the scent is coming from without realising it’s you. Wonderful for those who love sweets; here you have 200ml of pure enjoyment. Not for formal occasions, but perfect for relaxing days (and anyone brave enough to take the lift three hours later). Usually, I adapt any perfume to any season, but here I make an exception: only for colder weather; I don’t know how it would hold up at 40°C. It’s an aroma that envelops you all day with clear waves of caramel, popcorn, and butter. Only for the most indulgent and intense, ideal for going to the cinema or a session at home.
It lasts a long time. Yesterday my boyfriend wore this perfume on one arm and Rouge Malachite by Armani (which costs seven times more) on the other. Eight hours later, the one still smelling with intact intensity was this Lush one. 10/10 value for money. If you don’t like sweet, forget it. Edit: It really resembles Accident à la Vanille, but the quality and longevity aren’t worth the price. This Lush option is better.
Is it extra extra sweet? Totally. Is it the sweetest I’ve ever smelled? No. But it’s a beast that lasts until the next day and more. To me, it’s more caramel than anything; the popcorn note isn’t present at the start and I feel it more over time, and it’s more of a salty, buttery popcorn smell, but delicious. It can get heavy, so one spray is enough for the whole day. I was surprised by the projection and longevity; it seems like I’m wrapped in a bubble with this perfume, which earned me several compliments.
My review, and I mean it seriously about how much I like it: If someone has it and doesn’t like it because I read that many thought it was a bad purchase, I’ll buy it second-hand, privately. What a richer gourmand discovery…
To me, it’s just like Billie Eilish’s golden perfume, but this lasts a thousand times longer. I love it so much, a gourmand lover forever, blooming within me and hitting my heart hard.
Just received, sprayed on my hands half an hour ago and it’s projecting at full blast (even though they say it’s been reformulated). Completely gourmand scent of popcorn with butter, caramel, and vanilla; they say it has cinnamon but I can’t find it yet; it makes me drool, ADDICTIVE. I detect a boozy note, very similar to Rich Warm Addictive, which could be the vanilla/butter/cinnamon blend. Projection and trail are brutal, and that’s sold as a body spray… many EDPs would kill to project like this; the scent reaches me perfectly as I walk. Simply IMPRESSIVE. It feels synthetic when freshly sprayed, but as it dries… a DELICIOUS treat. I’ll edit the longevity, but it’s a beast in duration… I’m already buying backups. I can’t imagine how the first batches would be if it’s reformulated. After a workday, it projects well for the first few hours and then goes in bursts of trail, but they’re noticeable. It can cause olfactory fatigue due to the potency and sweetness. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who doesn’t love overly sweet scents, because it’s cloying; if you love sweet, this is sweeter and more potent than Stronger With You Intensely and Absolutely, beating them hands down in potency, projection, trail, and sweetness. As an aroma quality for me, no, although it’s rich, Armani’s are more refined and elegant. Ten hours have passed and it’s still detectable at 10 cm without tracking. For £35, it’s a 10/10 in performance/price, provided you love super-sweet scents. Projection: 9/10, Trail: 10/10, Longevity: Beast mode, Value/Quality: 100/10 if you love sweet to the max. Should I recommend it? Of course, but if you have Lush stores nearby to try it first, the better, the better. In my case, I bought blind and it turned out very well.
A beast in longevity and projection, like melted caramel. Delicious. It resembles the 71 (with much better performance and quality), but only in style; owning both wouldn’t be redundant. I recommend trying it first, because it’s such a monster that it could be too much.
It’s raining outside, it’s cold, you’re in a clean and tidy home. You put on your comfortable trousers and favourite sweater. Everything is right, accompanied by a sweet, indulgent fragrance that embraces and cares for you. As soon as I sprayed it, I felt slightly salty popcorn, then it caramelised, and the dry-down is sublime. I detect caramel and cocoa; it’s quite in your face. It’s nothing delicate, and that’s what I love—a loud fragrance that isn’t shy or hiding. It lasts for days on clothes. I’m addicted to this perfume (even though they say it’s a body spray) and already want a backup. I even use it to sleep; it’s comforting and brings me well-being.
I’ve tried it many times, but the opening is unpleasant to me—very artificial and sharp. In fact, I detect a persistent vinegar note. I can’t find anything resembling popcorn, but I do sense the buttery part once it settles. I’ll try it again later, hoping that perception of vinegar is more from my side than the composition.
At first, it’s sweet and warm but has a slightly aggressive scent, reminding me of grandmothers from the past; I didn’t like it. Once it settles, it becomes caramel and vanilla and lasts quite a while. Good longevity. If the opening doesn’t bother you, you’ll love it. Personally, I prefer Sol de Janeiro 71; it smells exquisite but doesn’t last as long.
It’s one of my favourites: it smells sweet and warm, like dough in the oven. The downside is that sometimes it leaves a strange aftertaste, like an olive in vinegar, which is hard to explain. I recommend trying it in a store for a few days. It’s one of the few colognes that have earned me compliments.
Ohhh, words fail me, what a delicious caramel with a salty twist. It’s a linear scent but is perceptible for days on clothes and is persistent on the skin for a day. The truth is, it feels better in cool climates or on a rainy afternoon ☔️ where it’s cold. This fragrance is exquisite; it will accompany you and make you feel very warm. 10 out of 10 across the board.
The opening is very alcoholic, followed by a rather plasticky butter note that put me off. The dry-down, however, is pure caramel, very similar to Cheirosa 71, although I prefer the latter for that rich toasted smell. It must be said that LGTR is long-lasting and surely has projection; so far I’ve only tested it on one arm and it has potency. I’ll return in autumn-winter to see what it tells me. EDIT: It still puts me off; I don’t think I can use it. It smells very strongly of butter and has a hint of petroleum; I’ll stick with Cheirosa 71 for sure.
It’s a yes and a no, haha. It comes out with a strange scent, something acidic, and upon drying, those sweet popcorn notes appear. It ends up resembling a mix between Sol de Janeiro’s 71 and Bianco Latte, but without that olfactory quality. It wants to and can’t. A favourable point: the longevity. If the 71 had that longevity, it would be great. That’s where each person decides.
I find it delicious; it’s salty caramel and a bit burnt. I wish it were sweeter; I think it stays in that American popcorn aroma, but in Latin America we use more sugar than butter, so it feels less sweet than I expect. The bottle has lasted quite a while; I think it’s nearing two years and I’m not even halfway through, as it’s a cold-weather scent. I won’t repurchase for the same reason; I’m still searching for my ideal popcorn scent, but it’s worth it for the longevity.
I find it delicious, salty caramel with butter, a hint of nuts, dark chocolate, and a slight touch of liquor. It’s a warm, cosy scent that embraces you, recommended for cold nights. I wear it to sleep and still smell it in the morning; the longevity is excellent. It’s a body spray with performance superior to most designer perfumes. In general, Lush body sprays are an excellent purchase: I love their scents, the longevity is very good, and the price is very affordable.
Oh, I had high expectations and it wasn’t anything like what I hoped for. I don’t know what’s going on, but it smells of mint to me (a note I hate). I’ll leave it to macerate to see if it evolves…
This is my second Lush body spray and I want them all. It smells lovely… At first, I smell a very sweet liquor, I don’t know which one, then upon drying, the caramel appears; I expected toffee, but it reminds me of the strawberry lollipops from my childhood (I think they still exist), not strawberry, but those. I don’t detect the cinnamon or the butter. These body sprays have me hooked and surprised; they’re a party for the olfactory senses of those who like sweet scents.
I was keen to try Lush mists and am very disappointed. Of the several I tried (this one, Sticky Dates, and a honey one), they all seemed identical at first: a synthetic sweet with a lot of alcohol. When I tested it, my first impulse was to pull my head away quickly due to the unpleasantness. After a few minutes on the skin, they settle better, but it remains a penetrating sweetness that gave me a headache, even though I’m a gourmand lover. They also lack sillage and longevity to justify the price. 👎🏼
I searched for it for ages and fell in love at first sight. Beyond the popcorn and cinnamon, I see it as super milky with caramel and very sweet; it surely contains vanilla even if it’s not listed. I adore the scent and it’s a must-have for gourmand lovers. The projection is brutal; it hangs suspended in the air, and my friends say the corridor smells like me even though I passed through minutes ago. It is extremely long-lasting and I love it.
It’s clearly gourmand, very linear, smelling mainly of sugared butter. On my skin I don’t detect popcorn or cinnamon, but rather toffee caramels. I agree with Alex regarding the eternal longevity and atomic projection: I wore it in the morning during winter and the next day I could still smell it. At first the edible scent hooked me, but after a few consecutive days it wore me out. I consider it exclusive for winter, very cloying, more asexual than unisex, for informal daytime occasions. It serves me to play and use in select moments to feel happy. Overall I found it flat (in this line I prefer Cheirosa 71) and wouldn’t buy it despite its good performance. Pleasant: 4/10 Interesting: 2/10 Versatile: 3/10 Original: 3/10
I was absolutely blown away by the longevity; this is a beast. I applied it at 5:15, spent four hours at a concert smelling my own hand constantly, then another four on the bus, slept for six hours, and by 12:20 the next day it was still clinging to my skin. This isn’t perfume; it’s body mist. At first, I thought it was minty, sweet, and mentholated, which was odd as it lacks those notes. After twenty seconds, the soft caramel note emerged, nothing like Lush’s Sticky Dates or Cheirosa 71. Over time, it gains potency, and that sweet popcorn note lasts ten hours. I don’t detect the cinnamon, I suppose it’s there to fix the scent, and ultimately it tastes like sweet butter on toast with caramel. It’s gourmand and doesn’t repel if applied correctly. The atomiser is a disaster; it looks like a car air freshener and sprays too much, but for 200ml at 30€, it’s worth it. In summer above 22°C it would be overwhelming. EDIT: I changed the bottle because the atomiser is rubbish; when I emptied it, I saw the liquid was transparent, I wasn’t expecting that golden hue.
I became obsessed; it’s more of a splash than a perfume due to the delicious smell, notes of coconut with caramel and butter. It brings me nostalgia because long ago my cousin from Germany came to visit, we had a sleepover, and she wore this perfume; I loved it instantly. After a long time I finally bought it, and putting it on took me right back to that moment. The scent is pleasant, making me feel like a dessert because it’s so sweet, hahahaha. I highly recommend it and for 35 euros it’s totally worth it.
The longevity is BRUTAL, lasting more than a day on skin. The trail is there too, though for less time. It’s very gourmand, like a caramel macchiato. I loved it!!! It might be a perfume many people won’t like, but hang in there 💋
For me it doesn’t smell like popcorn like everyone else; I sense an intense, synthetic caramel, a touch of cinnamon and salted butter. Upon application I barely notice it, but it has a trail that follows you everywhere. I walked into a shop and everyone noticed the caramel scent; it was me. It projects for hours and lasts weeks on clothes. Ideal for autumn/winter, only for those who love gourmand scents.
It’s not what I expected, but it doesn’t leave people indifferent. To me it smells like sweet butter; the popcorn isn’t even there, yet my friends say yes. Strange, isn’t it? The longevity is nuclear and the projection is good; modern perfumeries should learn a thing or two.
I didn’t like the opening at all, too much alcohol and a sour note. It improves a bit once it dries, but it still doesn’t convince me due to a lack of sweetness. Since it cost me 40 euros and I don’t want to waste it, I’m layering it with Éclaire to see if I can save it.
It’s a lovely scent, very sweet, you can really smell the caramel in the air. My colleague wears it and leaves a trail wherever she goes. Everyone says ‘how nice, smells like caramel’. They let me try it and the fixation is tremendous; you can feel it all day and it lingers on clothes terribly. I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like sweets, it makes me feel sick. But from a distance it’s delicious, very similar to Lush’s Sticky Dates.
It feels very synthetic to me. I’d give it a 10 for projection and longevity, but honestly I used it just to scent my wardrobe because I simply can’t stand smells that are so sweet and heavy.
I didn’t like it at all. It smells incredibly synthetic.
Ugh girls, this is pure caramel with a hint of rum. At first it smells like alcohol, but don’t panic; once it dries down it becomes super gourmand and dark. It lasts all day, for real. I can’t stop thinking about how to layer it well. It’s like Sol de Janeiro 71 but much darker.
