  The few English reviews say it resembles Naxos, but the truth is it doesn’t. I understand why: it opens with a citrus that smells like mandarin to me, with pepper and mint, and cognac at the base. It’s a rare mix that smells great. When it dries down, it gives a honey sensation, and that’s when it resembles Naxos. Out of an order of 7 decants, it was the second I liked most, although I didn’t buy it until the price convinced me otherwise. I haven’t tested it in warm weather yet, but in the end, I did decide to buy the bottle.

  For me, it’s the best of Bruno Perrucci, very in tune with the citrusy, fresh, and slightly sweet side of Double Bond, perhaps due to the citrus and menthol touch alongside tonka and amber. On my skin, the progression is very linear; it only loses that fresh citrus bomb at the start to stay constant with the base notes (I couldn’t perceive the fig leaf). It closes with a musky scent that maintains a base aroma without losing its initial components. Its longevity on my skin is easily over 8 hours in summer during the day without needing to rub it in, and at night it withstands the friction of the sheets to still smell upon waking. For those fresh and sweet touches without being heavy, I recommend it for spring and summer in mild temperatures or early autumn. For late autumn and winter, there are other options like Amberum. Although Perrucci doesn’t have truly challenging proposals compared to other niche houses, this is one of their most pleasant and easy-to-accept fragrances.

  An underrated perfume, a very well-balanced mentholated and spicy aroma with woody and herbal notes. It’s one of those that you’ll hardly not like, excellent for everyday wear, buy blind without fear; I seriously find it strange we don’t talk about it more, it looks like a designer scent but with niche quality.

  An interesting proposition, one I had in mind… The opening is super refreshing with a very present menthol note and sharp citrus notes mixing with spices, giving a real energy boost. That green freshness evolves into an aromatic accord thanks to the fig leaf. It keeps adding vitality until the spicy notes fade, giving way to a woody profile where vetiver dominates and sweetens a little; perhaps it’s the amber and patchouli, with a very subtle fruity touch in the background. I love it from start to finish for how it evolves, powerful but not annoying. Ideal for spring or autumn, versatile and with good longevity (6-7 hours), without being a beast in projection. I like it for being different; I only regret that the decant was so small. Very rich.
