I would have loved it when I was 17. Today I tried it in winter and it’s sweet like a sweet; it smells like a bag of yoghurt gummies. The marshmallow scent is super dominant; sometimes I get distracted because the sweet smell reaches my nose and I feel like I’ve rubbed myself in sweets. It’s strange; it doesn’t bother me but it seems childish/youthful, too gourmand for me. Sweet Like Candy is on my skin from 19:30 and at 23:30 it still has a presence, not exaggerated but not insipid either; it has just the right presence. It’s more for cold seasons because in summer it must be cloying. In winter it’s not harassing, but it’s noticeable. If you buy it, don’t spray it directly on your neck so you don’t get bored; better on your wrists or behind your ears. *While writing this, as I move my hand over the keyboard, waves of the aroma arrive and I think I’m already getting tired of it*. If you’re looking for something sober, try Ari or Moonlight; it’s not as sweet but after four hours you no longer perceive it.
Nice aroma, but I also find it very generic. It lacks that enveloping or challenging performance. I recognise this fragrance for the disappointment it entails; it’s a pity. I think you could invest the same in another fragrance that’s less ephemeral.
This perfume lasts less on my skin than the Thank U, Next body mist. The fragrance is very rich if you like fruity scents.
At first, creamy blackberry notes, slightly acidic, which soften over time. It’s like a meringue filled with blackberry jam. When it dries, it leaves a trail of fresh bonbons. Delicious, feminine, soft, and sweet. It’s nothing extraordinary but very enjoyable if you like these perfumes. Longevity and sillage are moderate, nothing more. It’s not cheap but accessible. Like with other Ariana Grande perfumes, one original bottle is enough; with the mist and a dupe, you get the same for less than a quarter of the price.
It’s exquisite; the perfect balance between fruits and sweets. The only flaw is that on my skin it doesn’t last at all; you only smell it when applying it. I’d love a version that’s the same but with better sillage and longevity.
I like it very much; it’s a good option if you don’t know what to wear. The downside is that it doesn’t last on some people, but I’m lucky that it does on me
Pure summer! You can tell it’s floral and fruity; it’s very youthful… haha, an anecdote: when I tried it in the shop, I loved it at first sniff and the sales assistant commented: ‘Isn’t it too youthful?’ haha. At nearly 40, it makes me feel good; it’s an injection of energy and good vibes… I think it’s the red fruit with bergamot
Delicious, but it lasts only a breath. What a shame.
I love it; it smells like a dessert, but the bottle lasted only a month, which is a pity. I didn’t expect that, as its longevity on my skin is minimal, especially with the heat of my city and the sweat I produce
It was disappointing; I expected more from its launch. It felt very alcoholic and, just as it evaporated, the scent vanished too. I didn’t even get to notice the notes and it didn’t last at all… sad, as I wanted it in my collection for what it promised. I hope they reformulate it to be more potent and less alcoholic ☹️
To my nose, it smells very similar to ‘Ari’, but this is creamier, which makes me like Sweet Like Candy more. Ariana’s perfumes for me divide into two types: the new ones and the old ones, and this is one of the old ones, which for me are better. Since Ariana left the lactonic/polished side to move into soft musk, it’s not the same, and this perfume has the best of its era. It is creamy, polished, sweet, subtle, pleasant. It’s perfect, I loved it.
If you mix Fantasy with the pink Meow, you get Sweet Like Candy. It’s a lovely perfume for everyday wear; it’s not extremely sweet, more like fresh sweet. If you can get a tester or a good deal, buy it; if not, as it is quite simple in scent, projection and longevity.
It’s a perfume that many find sweet, but for me it’s… acidic and youthful. This and Thank U, Next are the perfumes I like least from Ariana Grande. You can feel the whipped cream, but it’s like an acidic fruit whipped cream, like sour berries turning into citrus, and I didn’t like that much. It hardly lasts on the skin and, along with its trail making it pass as a run-of-the-mill perfume, I don’t know. Trail: 4/10, Scent: 6/10, Longevity: 4/10.
I waited a long time to try this perfume, hoping it would surprise me, but it was in vain. It is exactly like Pink Sugar, a very sweet scent with no personality other than its sweetness, similar to cotton candy or a strawberry sweet. It’s not as if I wanted it to be high-end; we have to be realistic, it’s just by Ariana Grande. However, given how hyped it was, I thought it would be something better, perhaps with more femininity, something more polished, sensitive or delicate. It is really nothing more than a childish perfume, almost toy-like…
It’s a very rich sweet scent, but it has mediocre performance for its price. If you find it on offer, go for it; if not, it’s not worth it.
I think Margarita should stop buying her perfumes on Shein 😂😂😂; at least some inspirations…
It smells like a bonbon.
I’m addicted to perfumes; my mum gifted this to me knowing I love sweet fragrances. I’ve tried it and liked it; it’s not in my favourites, but I sense a very feminine and wearable aroma. As I love sweets, there are some I’ve hated, like the Lattafa Bade’e Al Oud Amethyst, which is sweet but very synthetic; this one is very lovely. It’s not at all ‘elegant’, but I give it a thumbs-up, much more than Cloud, as here the musk takes over the scent and the truth is, it’s not to my liking.
It’s like an acidic lemon gummy; the whipped cream and bergamot are the most noticeable, but the cream doesn’t feel right, only its sweetness, like a lemon caramel. Yes, it is true that it is youthful.
On my nose, it smells acidic. It’s a brash sweet that becomes piercing; I don’t perceive any note, I suppose if I let it dry out maybe, but I can’t stand it 🙁
It’s pretty, but it didn’t blow my mind. It sounds like a run-of-the-mill sweet fruity scent. I think all the hype is down to the packaging, which is beautiful (though a bit impractical). It reminds me of the style of Midnight Fantasy or a Victoria’s Secret body mist. I prefer the Millanel version more; it’s very similar but at a much more accessible price.
It’s youthful and sweet, but among Ariana Grande perfumes, there are sweeter ones than this. I thought it would be like Thank U, Next or Moonlight, but it’s more fruity than sweet. I don’t find the scent very striking as I’ve smelled similar ones; it’s not bad in itself, but in my case, the longevity was horrible, literally lasting an hour with its minutes. I expected something better.
It’s Ari, identical but more acidic and creamy. It tastes good and is enjoyable but nothing extraordinary. I wouldn’t buy it; I was gifted the 30ml version and that’s enough. They have praised it despite the lack of longevity. I read they don’t last because they’re vegan, but I’m not sure; the truth is I liked the scent even though it smells a bit cheap. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 4/10 Sillage: 6/10 Price: 7/10
I don’t know why I thought it would be a blackberry dessert with whipped cream and candies, but the truth is it’s more like sweet but acidic gummies, very delicate. For me, it doesn’t surpass Ari. It seems quite acidic considering the vanilla, cream, and candies.
I love it; it’s sweet and I see it as ideal for spring. I would like to find a similar one but with better longevity and sillage.
I feel it’s super universal; it has sweet notes but isn’t cloying. I loved it and it’s my favourite for casual outings. I’ve received compliments and noticed it blends wonderfully with most sweet body sprays and body creams.
I bought it for my wife; she liked it, but honestly, it doesn’t smell sweet at all. It smells very acidic and pure raspberry. It doesn’t last nearly as long; after an hour, you can’t smell it unless you sniff directly on the skin where I applied it.
I’m glad to have it again. At first, it reminds me of Natura’s Red Raspberry body wash, a sweet and sparkling raspberry without acidity. Then comes the creamy part and divine white flowers. A simple, coquettish, and casual scent, like a pretty girl, feminine, sweet, and fruity. Ideal for the office or any occasion, super daytime and suitable for all year round without being cloying. I love it in all its phases, especially the dry-down which captivates me. Nothing extraordinary but simple and beautiful. Medium longevity, but I’m not bothered by having to reapply.
Tastes delicious but falls short; for the price, there are more interesting options.
On me, it smells amazing. Initially bergamot and blackberry with a hint of pear, followed by clean vanilla and an almost imperceptible touch of candy. I would buy it again even though Ari is my favourite :´3. I find it odd with olfactory fatigue; I thought it wouldn’t last at all, but then suddenly I notice it or others do. Recommended if you don’t like strong scents. Ed: I already miss it, haha.
It is a pleasant, soft, and sweet scent. It lasts all day on me and is exquisite. If you like sweet things, I recommend it greatly; it starts with a fruity touch and then becomes sweet and vanilla-like.
I always wanted an Ariana Grande perfume. At first, Cloud caught my attention, but upon trying them, Sweet Like Candy captivated me more. It is a fruity scent, with a raspier and less sweet opening, and I perceive fresh floral notes. Later, it evolves into something playful and sweet, reminiscent of whipped cream and marshmallow. The problem is the longevity: it fades incredibly fast. I apply it in the morning to go to university, and by the time I arrive, the scent on my clothes and skin has almost disappeared; I have to bring my nose close to perceive what little remains. I bought it at Costco for $1,200 and, for the price, I was very disappointed because the scent has potential but, honestly, it doesn’t last at all. Is it good? Yes. Is it worth the cost? Not at all. If you are looking for a long-lasting perfume with these notes, there are many better and cheaper options, don’t waste your money.
It was my first Ariana Grande perfume, right in the year of its launch. In my opinion, it is the best flanker in the line. It is a sweet, fruity, and lactonic scent, but not as sweet as most perceive; it is a subtle sweetness, like a caress to the soul. I use it day and night, in cold and warm climates, although it depends on your tastes if you are a gourmand. I perceive much of the whipped cream, marshmallow, blackberry, and vanilla; perhaps it reminds me of Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo, but very subtly. The longevity is quite long. After Meow by Katy Perry, it might be my favourite celebrity fragrance. The only thing I don’t like about the bottle is that it fades very quickly.
It is sweet and simple, but it doesn’t last at all, barely three hours.
It smells like raspberry marshmallow, it is delicious and lasts all day. It is a wonderful and addictive fragrance.
I bought the 30ml bottle and regretted not getting a larger one. Although it says it has blackberry, I sense a mix of red fruits. At first, it lasted three hours, but now I can smell it after eight. It is nothing new to my nose, but I enjoy it.
It has become one of my favourites and my go-to for everyday wear. I bought it by mistake in the free shop thinking it was ‘Ari’. At first, I couldn’t smell it, as if it had no scent, but after a few days open, the aroma intensified. Contrary to its name, I don’t find it extremely sweet, but rather fruity. It is delicious and I will certainly buy it again.
It smells like very airy whipped cream, almost like foam, super sweet with marshmallows and scarce, citrusy red fruit notes. It is a sweet summer fragrance; it doesn’t perform or feel right in winter. It is very lovely and worth it only if you can get it at a good price.
It is a delicious and lactonic raspberry. If you don’t like sweet perfumes, you might not like this one, but I adore it.
Sweet Like Candy smells super flirtatious and sweet, with notes of fruit, marshmallow, and vanilla without being cloying. Perfect for daytime or going out. Available from $40 for a bottle or samples from $3.97. Use my link or code MARIAARIAS for 10% off to try and save.
