  Two Minutes After The Kiss is a fragrance that helps you rediscover your love for the oud-rose combo. To some a recurring classic, but let’s be honest, it works and when executed well it is supremely elegant and delightful. This is the case. A dark fragrance that combines floral rose notes mainly at the start to move towards a woody heart with oud as the main protagonist, and patchouli, very noticeable, adding that dry and woody sensation of an oud that can come across as more fermented and milky at the opening. The quality of the raw materials is more than evident. The nuances appear with incense, pepper and the woody accord of the base. The result is a dark, very well balanced fragrance, designed for special occasions with excellent performance that denotes quality everywhere. Greetings!

  Two Minutes After The Kiss is a fragrance that restores your love for the oud-rose combo. Some might find it repetitive, but the truth is it works, and when done well, it results in something elegant and delicious. Here it is: a dark fragrance that begins with floral rose notes and moves towards a woody heart with oud as the protagonist, accompanied by a very noticeable patchouli that adds that dry, woody sensation, preventing the opening oud from sounding too fermented or milky. The quality of the raw materials is evident. In the base, nuances of incense, pepper and a smoky accord appear. The result is a dark, very balanced fragrance, ideal for special occasions, with excellent performance and quality that screams from every corner. Greetings!

  Total hype, fair warning: let me tell you about my favourite perfume from the entire collection. Two Minutes After The Kiss by Azman (Momentos), founded in 2016 in Dubai. Husen Khan aims to reinvent oud in a modern way. Signed by Cristiano Canalli, the genius behind Tyger and Romanza, with carte blanche and top-tier materials: Laotian oud, English and Jamaican pepper, Turkish rose, Guatemalan cardamom… Hand-cut Venetian glass bottle, no sharp edges, a true jewel. It smells like the kiss of your first love that makes your stomach do flip-flops; for married folks like me, it’s as if The Moon had a child with Promise. Nothing like the typical oud/rose combo, it’s far more complex. Dark, mysterious, nocturnal and evolving, lasting 12 hours on skin and still projecting. Only for formal occasions, nothing with flip-flops and shorts, although @Antoniomaja says you won’t be stopped, they should be. I fell in love with niche perfumery; the bottle is a jewel in the hand. My wife tried it for the first time and is already imagining the outfit to wear it with. Try it, oud lovers, your head will spin. Being a high-quality, domesticated oud, I recommend it to anyone wanting to approach true oriental oud. My signature scent and my all-time Top 1.

  Here comes the hype, fair warning. I’m talking about the perfume I like most from my entire collection and everything I’ve smelled so far: Two Minutes After The Kiss, by the house Azman (Momentos, in Arabic). Founded in 2016 in Dubai, they launched their first perfume in 2021, and their creator Husen Khan has the aim of reinventing oud fragrances presenting them in a more modern way. The perfumer is no less than Cristiano Canalli, creator of Tyger by Zoologist, Romanza by Masque Milano and Godspeed by Malbrum, a unique pepper fragrance in its style. Here Canalli had carte blanche, with no limits other than his imagination, using the highest quality raw materials on the market. The notes have names and surnames: Laotian Oud, English and Jamaican Pepper, Turkish Rose, Guatemalan Cardamom, etc. The Venetian glass bottle, hand-cut one by one to give it the finish of a bottle without edges or imperfections, worthy of the quality of the perfume it carries inside. What does it smell like? Like that kiss you give your first love that makes your stomach do flip-flops and lifts your feet off the ground. For married folks like me, it smells as if The Moon had a child with Promise. Don’t expect the typical oud/rose combo, this is much more. It is a dark, mysterious, nocturnal and evolving fragrance like no other, lasting 12 hours on skin and still projecting its facets. For special formal occasions, nothing with flip-flops and shorts; as @Antoniomaja says, they won’t stop you, but they should. I fell in love with niche perfumery; I don’t know if the photo quality shows it, but the bottle is like holding a jewel in the hand. It’s the first oud my wife has tried and she’s already imagined the situation and the outfit to wear it with. Please try it, for oud lovers it will blow your mind. Being an oud of such high quality and very domesticated, it’s what I would recommend to anyone wanting to approach true oriental oud.
