  Nolita, another delightful creation from Bond No. 9 since 2017. It’s named in homage to the Italo-Nuyorican neighbourhood of Manhattan. In the nineties, the area saw a boom in yuppies, boutiques, and bars. This rich fragrance blends citrus and florals; the bottle even comes with an ultra-feminine lipstick. The notes harmonise beautifully: freesia, mandarin, lily, amber, rose, sandalwood, musk, and jasmine. The opening smells of exquisite mandarin and citrusy freesia, which is dominant at first before blending in. It then evolves into a warm, slightly talc-like scent that envelops with the creamy lily and jasmine; the rose accompanies but is almost imperceptible. The amber adds an intriguing warmth to the florals, while the mandarin prevents it from being a green bouquet, brightening everything up. The projection is delicate, soft, with a moderate trail (unless you apply it generously). Longevity is around 5-6 hours, after which it fades, so I carry a refiller. I find it original and unique. Bond No. 9 describes it as feminine, and it is: soft, fresh, and feminine. I wear it during the day. It’s attractive, precious, a floral with a citrus top. It is deliciously charming!!!

  The simplest scent I’ve ever smelled. My husband gifted it to me in August 2022 for my birthday, but to be honest, it didn’t quite take my fancy. It says nothing; Versace Bright Crystal makes a far more noticeable impression. If it weren’t for the price, I’d wear it just to go to the supermarket. I detect only a faint freesia, a lily, and a very muted rose, with an overwhelming amount of musk that is the only thing that really comes through. The fragrance isn’t bad, but it doesn’t justify its cost. I feel terrible about letting my husband down as he gave it to me with such enthusiasm, yet wearing it makes me feel invisible, grey, bored, and just another face in the crowd. No one has complimented it; I suspect they can’t even smell it. The longevity is poor, the trail lasts an hour, and then it disappears completely, staying only on the skin. I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you’re heading to a funeral or the hospital, where it’s clean and invisible to the nose 🫠

  I love it, although I wish it cost less. It smells of that clean floral with a soapy touch, so easy to wear and versatile, but there are always cheaper options that are equally good or better.

  It starts super citrusy and sweetly floral. Once it dries (after 30 minutes), it smells just like my Dolce Melodia, but this one is much better.
