There are better options for the price. It’s very generic and feels like a clone of something cheaper.
If you’re a man and want women to compliment you, this is the one. I’m almost always told ‘you smell great’ or ‘what perfume are you wearing?’. Perfect for night dates, dinners, or the cinema. When someone smells it, they stick right by you. It blends sweet and fresh, but be careful in hot weather as it might not suit everyone. Longevity: 8/10. Sillage: 7/10. Value: 8/10. Compliments: 10/10.
If you’re looking for something different, this is 50% common DNA with niche touches. It doesn’t smell like any designer fragrance, but it recalls sweet apple, vanilla, and sweet citrus. After 6-7 hours, it starts to give off a leather note, though it’s wearable. It’s like a mix of Layton and Parfums de Marley. People say WOW. It’s worth it at $200-250, but at $350-400, it’s doubtful. If you want something artistic, look at Xerjoff or Mancera. Anyway, a delight.
Acidic, vibrant and youthful, it’s an exquisite bomb of ambroxan and agarwood. An effervescent floral scent with grapefruit, bergamot, apple and white flowers; the agarwood gives it body and magic, while the tonka bean seals the deal with sweetness. The vanilla is listed but I can’t smell it. The problem is the price: a robbery at gunpoint. Although I don’t mind paying 200-300 euros, 500 lereles is an excess, my dear. Neither the trail nor the longevity justifies it. If it were a beast mode, perhaps I’d buy it, but it isn’t; it has good performance but doesn’t justify the cost. Very bad Bon nº9… VERY BAD. You can’t make me addicted to something I can’t afford. LOOL. If you’re spending money, it’s the best floral/citrus men’s summer scent ever created. Age: 18+ for a teenage millionaire with Ferraris. Unisex, slightly masculine. Ideal for spring and summer, hot or fresh climates, though you could wear it all year. Scent: 12/10. Longevity: 7/10. Duration: 8 hours. Projection: 8/10. Versatility: 10/10. Price: $$$$$ to infinity. 4.5 euros per ml. Final score: 9/10.
Acidic, vibrant, youthful, and refreshing. It’s a bomb of ambroxan and ambergris. Ideal for spring and summer. An effervescent mix of grapefruit, bergamot, apple, and white flowers. The ambergris gives it body, while the tonka bean adds a sweet touch. I can’t smell the vanilla. The problem is the price: it’s an armed robbery. 500 euros is a lot. Neither the trail nor the longevity justifies the cost. If it were a beast mode, I’d buy it, but it isn’t. Performance is good but it’s pricey. VERY BAD Bon nº9 for the price. If you’re spending money, it’s the best floral/citrus men’s fragrance for summer. Age: 18+. Slightly masculine unisex. Warm or fresh climates. Scent: 12/10. Longevity: 7/10. Duration: 8h. Projection: 8/10. Versatility: 10/10. Score: 9/10.
Hello, this smells like my adolescence. Applying it brings immediate memories; it’s not a new scent. Once it dries, it smells like Dunhill Desiré. I’m sorry, it’s not novel.
LAFAYETTE STREET BOND NO.9: Smells clean, luminous, and fresh with a sweet hint. It has elegance and strength, like a young perfume in its prime. It’s versatile for the office, dates, or meeting friends. The blend of fruit, amber, vanilla, wood, and flowers is top-notch. Perfectly unisex, it works on anyone. It’s like complex architecture that looks simple. Well-made. Scent: 10. Sillage: 2h. Longevity: 6-7h. Recommended.

Ideal for everyday wear, it smells clean and sweet with just the right fruity touch, but the price is insane. It doesn’t stand out; it’s merely correct yet expensive. If you want the same scent without spending $350, try Game of Spades Wildcard—it’s a quarter of the price and smells identical.

Lafayette Street was one of those recommendations I sold, and for me, I don’t have… A niche fragrance where you always have to try before buying. I jumped in blindly with a deal at 50% of the official price. Based on comments and seeing it had Layton vibes, even better, I jumped in headfirst. When it arrived and I tested it, total disappointment. I expected something more niche that would blow my mind and found an aroma that reminded me of a mix of Armani Code (opening) with Azzaro Most Wanted Parfum (dry down), although Lafayette is more balanced and better constructed. I see it as flat in evolution to be niche: very similar from opening to dry down. I’d highlight that creamy wood sensation, slightly sweet with vanilla and tonka bean. With Lafayette Street, you’ll have a modern and easy-to-please fragrance. The intended purpose is noticeable. It lasts between 9 and 10 hours (good work) with a moderate trail, though it’s always perceptible. It can be worn in any season. Absolute versatility: perfect for any circumstance and could be a signature. If the price is 450 EUR/100ml, it’s an outrage and a nonsense. If it were around 100 EUR, it would be the king of sales. Unless it’s a bargain, I’d discard it for the price. No sense for what it offers. If it were cheaper, I’d give it 10. At this price, I give it 8 and I’m generous.
The Allure from Chanel I used in the ’90s, but with much lower performance.
Quite good and versatile. I’ve used it and it smells rich (sometimes the floral note is very noticeable but it’s passable). I think it’s unisex and it’s the only unisex I’ve liked. 9/10.
Very versatile and a compliment magnet, but on my skin it lasts a mere sigh. For the price, it’s not worth it for the performance; there are better options. Wildcard or Onyx from Bharara are almost identical; unfortunately, all three last the same, but these two are around $100, while Lafayette triples that cost. Then there’s Nikos. User Janos is radical, but I confirm he’s not exaggerating…
Honest and without beating around the bush: a fragrance I didn’t think I’d buy but knew was good; I smelled it on a blotters and liked it a lot. On a trip to the US in a mall, I saw Bond No.9 in old stock (not expired) selling cheaper than direct from the store or Neiman Marcus. I paid $250 for 50ml, a high price for what it offers. It’s delicious, one of the best I’ve smelled, but it smells like designer sold as niche. A rich combination of vanilla and amber, with citrus like bergamot and a spicy touch of Chance from the coriander and florals. Strange and eye-catching bottle, sexy name, but abusive performance for what it gives: it lasts about 5 hours with effort. Urban and party-ready with that sexy Layton touch from PDM, but it doesn’t last or project almost at all. Horrible atomiser. I’ll redeem the delicious scent, ideal for going to my girlfriend’s house and being close, only perceptible if they smell me up close. Then there are alternatives like Wildcard from Game of Spades or Onyx from Bharara, which claim to smell the same for much less, with better longevity. I’m tempted to try them because the aroma is very good. There’s also Nikos Sculpture; I want it but wouldn’t pay that price again; better a dupe or something better in price, longevity, and projection. My view: if you want something expensive that gives the minimum, like Symphony from LV (expensive but worth it for quality, longevity, projection, and architect bottle), then it’s worth it. If you’re looking for an alternative, Wildcard from Game of Spades or Emerald smell similar and are cheap, both good. Here, Wildcard from Jo Milano and Lafayette Street are rich but not worth the price, poor performance, and deficient atomiser. If you go for the dupe, I recommend it. It deserves a try and some conclusions.
It smells rich, something not seen these days. The big problem is the longevity; it’s a pity it doesn’t last longer than a P 2 :/
This DNA was born in ’95 with Michel Almairac in his masterpiece, Sculpture by Nikkos. It was a favourite of Andrés Croxxato for its charm and accessible price, but in my experience, it had a dismal performance. However, it is a beautiful citrus-floral scent remastered by Lafayette, which notably improved its longevity. It was also replicated by Wildcard from Game of Spaces, making it accessible to everyone with solid longevity and projection. An exquisite and unique aroma pulled from the box of memories and brought to its fullest expression by Lafayette.
This DNA was born in ’95 with Michel Almairac and I captured it in a masterpiece: Nikos Sculpture. The same perfume that Andrés Croxxato put on his radar as a favourite and charming low-cost option, but on my skin it lasted sadly. It’s a beautiful citrus-floral aroma, remastered by Lafayette to improve its performance and replicated by Wildcard from Game of Spaces, making it accessible to all with solid longevity and projection. An exquisite aroma taken out of the box of memories and brought to its maximum expression by Lafayette.
In Chile, scams and rip-offs are called ‘pico en el ojo’, and this is a ‘pico en el ojo’ with all the laws. The perfumeries have turned a full 180 for the worse. The TikTok gurus with Croxxato complexes are to blame; they call this disaster the mother of that DNA without crediting Nikos with his original Sculpture. They claim Onyx, Desire, Sculpture, and Wildcard are dupes of Lafayette. Apologise to Sculpture and Michel Almairac. It’s a monumental rip-off at this price, while Nikos is under $20 and smells better. I recommend Nikos and Wildcard once the influencer hype dies down.
In Chile, we call scams and frauds ‘pico en el ojo’; here, the perfume industry has turned a full 180 degrees for the worse. The TikTok and YouTube reviewers with complexes of imitating Croxxato and believing themselves to be gurus are to blame, calling this monstrosity the mother of this DNA and failing to credit the true responsible party, Nikos with his Sculpture. Some might say Onyx, Desire, Sculpture and Wildcard are dupes of Lafayette. Ask for public apologies to Sculpture and Michel Almairac. It is a monumental scam on the value they sell, while Nikos is under $20 and far superior. I recommend Nikos and Wildcard once the hype from TikTok and social media gurus has faded.
The scent is top-notch and feels genuinely high quality. The flaw is its performance: the worst longevity in my entire collection. I’ve been waiting for it to mature and improve, but nothing. I hope to update this review in a few months with any news.
:3 It was the first dupe of Sculpture at 1.8M pesos. It smells rich, but knowing it’s a copy makes me hesitate if it’s worth spending that much. A good perfume, yes, but the maths don’t add up.
