Bought it blind based on reviews, but the opening smells far too synthetic for the price; it reminds me of a cheap, stale Arabic fragrance. Longevity is 9/10, but the sillage barely reaches 3/10 and projection is average. My final score: 4/10. I wouldn’t recommend it without trying it first.
I am completely in love with this fragrance. I received it as a Mother’s Day gift yesterday and I couldn’t be happier. The box, with its typical Bond n°9 presentation and Swarovski crystals, is a joy to hold. The scent is spectacular: if you like roses, you will appreciate this work of art. It opens super fruity and sweet, but gains depth thanks to the oud which is present throughout. The oud is sweet, nothing animalistic or foul; it is gentle and adds personality. It is suitable for a blind buy as it has no notes that turn people off. Of course, you must like oud and rose, which alongside the fruity cocktail are the stars. Of all the Bond scents I own, Nomad is undoubtedly my favourite to date.
The only drawback is the price, totally out of this world like all the brand’s offerings. I wonder what Bond is smoking, but something is very wrong, because putting 100ml at nearly 500 euros is madness. But if you find it on discount, don’t think twice for a second. It is an almost guaranteed blind buy. It is exquisite, in every sense of the word. It is fruity without being sticky (like those that smell of tropical juice), sweet but not cloying. The rose and oud, which are heavy notes, do not dominate here; they are there to balance fruits and resins, controlling intensity and harmonising. It is creamy and well-balanced. It resembles MFK’s Oud Satin Mood (that rose + oud combination) a little, but don’t expect a dupe; it is just a common note that will remind you of it. This Nomad is more fruity, informal, youthful, and less refined. Yes, it is denser than it appears, with plenty of body despite being fruity/floral. Longevity is heavy: powerful sillage for the first 3 hours (can be intimidating) and it lasts over 10 hours on my skin. Almost unisex at 90%, perhaps leaning slightly towards the masculine side. Versatile, but be careful: its fruity character in warm weather can kill. It doesn’t work in the cold. I highlight it in temperate climates, where it shines. Scent: 9, Longevity: 9, Sillage: 9. Price: (460 euros/100ml) ¡WTF!
Something strange happened with this perfume: I bought it and sold it quickly because it smelled of cheap body cream with nothing special. I gave it to someone close, and one day they noticed a very special scent and it turned out to be this one. My mind changed completely; I didn’t understand how something I disliked now makes me love it. It changed so much; now I notice that unique and special aroma. I know of nothing that resembles this masterpiece. I have bought it again and when it arrives I will write a full review, but what a seductive and elegant perfume. Suitable for both men and women.
My people, I would suggest a more economical fragrance. It is very similar to Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian; that mix of rose and wood gives it a chocolatey touch, a real delight. Try them out.
Delicious! It is an oud and vanilla fragrance, unisex, that I liked from the first sniff. It is very similar to Montale’s Dark Vanilla, but with less powerful longevity and sillage. Given the price, I would have expected at least greater longevity on my skin (it lasts about 5 hours). I stick with Dark Vanilla.
