Descripción
Mula Mula by Byron Parfums is an oriental vanilla fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Larchitect. The top notes unfold a sweet and fruity accord with caramel, peach, strawberry and raspberry; the heart reveals warm and exotic spices through ginger, pink pepper and labdanum; while the base notes anchor the essence with vanilla, musk, oud wood and patchouli.

It’s a sweet and warm aroma that I simply adore, featuring notes of caramel, vanilla, and fruits where the nectarine stands out above the red ones. It vibes between spicy and vanilla. It reminds me of This Is Her by Zadig & Voltaire, but Mula Mula is more comfortable for everyday wear. Perfect for spring or summer, something its competitor can’t match. It doesn’t overpower; it smells great on the wearer and has a brutal all-day longevity. As an extrait, it lasts even longer. It’s unisex, though I see it as more feminine; if a man enjoys caramel and vanilla, he should wear it without fear. What a lovely scent! The bottle is minimalist and elegant.
Thanks, Kari Dil; thanks to your review, it’s now on my list. I don’t have any fruity or vanilla fragrances… I’ve always thought that, barring obvious exceptions (clearly masculine or feminine), it all comes down to the person. Even for a novice like me, I feel comfortable with scents like Tardes or even Rima XI from Carner Barcelona, rather than Bvlgari Man in Black. Best regards.
Mula Mula seems much better to me than The Chronic from the same house. It’s super sweet, with spicier nuances and a superior base. It opens with plenty of caramel and peach; the red fruits, pepper, and ginger add freshness, all over a well-defined musky vanilla. I see it as more feminine and believe it justifies its fame and price. Good performance and quality, a great option to try in the gourmand field. For now, I wouldn’t own it. Rating: 7/10.
For me, Mula Mula smells better than The Chronic from the same house. It’s much sweeter, with spicier nuances and a superior base. It opens with caramel and peach, while red fruits, pepper, and ginger add a fresh twist, all sitting on a well-defined musky vanilla. I see it as more feminine than masculine and believe it justifies its reputation and price. Good performance, great quality overall, and a wonderful alternative to try in the gourmand arena. For now, I don’t own it. Rating: 7/10.
Today the original Mula Mula finally arrived, with that little round bottle and black cap, and it’s instantly my favourite perfume. I first tried a decant of the blue version and went absolutely crazy. The new one is on its way, but for now, this classic is a beast: too potent and delicious on my skin. It’s simple yet captivating—peach with caramel and vanilla—and has me head over heels. It reminds me of La Capitale, though the Xerjoff feels more mature, elegant, and fruitier. I think it’s more feminine due to its sweetness. Any gourmand lover will adore it. It lasts all day on skin and ages on clothes for what feels like centuries. I love it! Safe buy if you enjoy sweet, vanilla, and fruity scents.
