Cruz del Sur I by Xerjoff is a spiced oriental fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2017, this composition is signed by perfumer Miroslav Petkov. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of rum, grapes and bergamot; a heart of dried fruits, cloves, cumin, cedar and cinnamon; and a base evoking leather, castoreum, myrrh, frankincense, labdanum, amber and sandalwood.

Finally got it. I hunted for it purely on a whim to see what the predecessor to Cruz del Sur II was like, and while they share a bit of the concept, this fragrance is undervalued. I expected disappointment buying blind, but it was the exact opposite. It’s a bit mature, sweet, and has that dirty touch I enjoy. What stands out most is the rum, grapes, and nuts; also the leather and cumin. Sounds strange, but it reminds me of Bulgari Men In Black, less sweet and with that sweaty cumin note. If you want to buy it out of curiosity, you now have the idea. I truly recommend it; I like it more than Tony Iommi.
Finally, I’ve got the fragrance I was after purely on a whim. If you want to buy it out of curiosity, here’s the idea. I recommend it 100%, I like it more than Tony Iommi.
