  Recently tested in a decant. It’s a wonderful perfume very similar to the 1861 Naxos by Xerjoff. Except for the opening, where I feel Naxos is more citrusy and deep, the dry down is a ‘calque’. You can detect the notes of honey and sweet tobacco with vanilla and tonka. It is unisex. More versatile than Naxos because it lacks that intense ‘punch’ of honey and tobacco. Wearable all year round on warm summer nights. Elegant and sexy. Great quality for the price (around £40 for 80ml). Excellent trail and longevity (6 hours easily, with 2 hours of initial projection). If you love Naxos, here is a fantastic clone for everyday wear. A 10 for French Avenue with this Fierte Luna.

There is a subtle freshness at the start, a dance of honey that remains throughout the evolution, with a soft tobacco that adds maturity and authority. A hidden luxury for sweet men with character.

I feel every note in perfect harmony; its sweetness oozes class and elegance. I catch a subtle freshness at first, a dance of honey that lingers through the entire evolution, with a soft tobacco note that lends it the maturity and weight it needs. A hidden luxury for sweet men with character and authority.

  I promise I’ll let you smell it here, so read carefully. It’s 60% masculine (dry tobacco and strong lavender at the start), 30% feminine (sweet vanilla, honey, and jasmine). Ideal age: 25 to 50. It’s not for teenagers (the tobacco adds a weight of ‘settled life’) nor for the elderly (the tonka is very modern). It smells like a young professional or a stylish adult. Suitable only for autumn and winter; wearing it above 20 degrees is a social suicide, as the honey and cinnamon become sticky and nauseating. It needs the cold to breathe. It’s for events, not the gym or unventilated offices. It shines at dinners or night dates. Lasts 8 to 10 hours on skin (days on clothes). The first two hours explode with citrus and lavender; from hours three to six, honey and tobacco dominate; finally, it settles into vanilla and tonka. Projection is 1.5 metres initially, then a one-metre bubble that is still noticeable when greeting someone. Maximum 5 to 8 sprays. It gives a feeling of arrogant security, opulence, and comfort. Verdict: excellent but not particularly original nowadays. If you don’t control the sprays, you go from smelling like a ‘millionaire’ to smelling like ‘cheap honey candle’.

  It’s literally Naxos; I’ve tested it side by side and it’s 98% identical, plus it’s the longest-lasting in my collection. With this, there’s no point buying the original.

  It is literally Naxos. I tested it on one hand against the original on the other, and it’s 98% identical. Furthermore, it lasts longer than any other perfume in my collection. With this, there’s no point spending money on the original Naxos.

  Top notes are excellent, evolving beautifully from the first spray. It lasts incredibly long with a powerful trail; I believe it’s the best Naxos dupe out there. Don’t buy it blindly, although I did; it’s better to smell it first. The first few hours didn’t quite convince me, but by the next day, I was hooked. Perfect for special occasions, cold days, and evening wear. Simply wonderful.
