  I’ve loved it for the price. It smells relaxing and everyone likes it. The brown sugar doesn’t cloy and lacks that unpleasant pasty tone that the Yerbamate has. It’s a bit like the Duel, though I haven’t tried it. The citrus freshness is noticeable throughout the development. The throw is decent.

  Citrus, bitter, and sweet opening: the bergamot brings freshness, the mate and tea are green and bitter, while the sugar sweetens. It’s fairly linear, with only the opening being more citrusy and less sweet than the base. After 30 minutes it settles and doesn’t change much. The dry-down is sweet but not cloying, with a subtle woody base and barely detectable violet. It smells unisex and suits any weather. The performance is surprising: I applied it nine hours ago and it’s still there, potent. It doesn’t smell artificial or cheap; it’s perfect for summer and highly recommended.

  A rare coincidence: I used Jasmin Angélique from Atelier Cologne and didn’t love it, but the price gave it a chance. That same day I tried Absolutely Sublime from Zara Home, and half an hour later I thought the Atelier wasn’t so bad after all. Turns out they’re by the same creator and share DNA, despite what the marketing says. If you’ve smelled the Atelier, this is its easy version: no ashtray smoke, more citrusy, herbal, and sweet, pleasant for others, economical, with superior longevity and sillage.

  A right disaster at first, smelling like hell and burnt sugar, it gives me anxiety. The tea, mate, and bergamot notes sound good, but the excess sweetness makes it greasy and sticky, as if you’d showered with lollipops. I don’t get how people wear it without gagging; it smells like a stripper’s thong. But wait two hours, because this bastard dries down into a dry, herbaceous, addictive gem, with that cigarette and kiss touch that gets you going. Brutal longevity for Zara and the bottle is gorgeous with its magnetic cap. Watch out, Evitorial Twist smells like rancid oil, but I’ll put up with it for the blue colour.
