I just bought it as a gift for my father: it’s much more than I expected; in fact, I’m thinking of buying it myself because I had another opinion of Quorum (the original), but this has filled me with expectations for what I’ll wear from now on. All the past is better and I believe the same applies to perfumes.

  • william aguirre

I bought it, waited anxiously, filled with expectations based on the reviews, but (it didn’t impress me) it’s a common fresh fragrance. Many compare it to Polo Sport, but I dare not discredit a Ralph Lauren gem. It’s more similar to the Aspen budget line; it’s not sophisticated or novel. Fresh aroma, with green notes, a woody base, and that’s it. Scent 6, Longevity 6, Projection 5, Price 8.

  • Aqua Quorum is the embodiment of Quorum in the 90s: the colours of its box and bottle say it all. The same concept as the arch-famous work by Puig changes radically. The herbal qualities of Quorum are deep, forest-like, threatening. In contrast, in Aqua Quorum the tone is bright, clean, like freshly watered grass. It’s a happy twist, a conversion to the fern as understood in the early 90s, when the genre was heavily influenced by Cool Water. A fresh, radiant fern, very aromatic, with a youthful spirit. It recalls proposals like Polo Sport, Eternity and Escape by Calvin Klein, New West by Aramis, Horizon by Guy Laroche, or so many other wonderful perfumes that reigned before aquatic scents became the priority. The opening oscillates between herbal and fruity to quickly incorporate that fresh, aquatic note of dihydromyrcenol, which stands out in Aqua Quorum but is always well complemented by spring and floral touches, with a sporty and informal trend. The perfume has little relation to the hard-core ferns of the 80s or the subsequent zen aquatic scents. Its trail is moderate with good longevity, more than correct for these characteristics. Aqua Quorum smells like a Game Boy and a Michael Jordan play. It’s a rich and detailed tableau of history, proving that the only bad thing done under the Quorum name is its latest reformulation.

  • The famous Aqua Quorum, a work by three great noses, including the master Morillas. If Polo Sport is an appropriation by one of those noses? We don’t know, what you see is what you get. Does this fragrance gain value through its association with Polo? I don’t think so; it stands on its own and is worth much more, offering excellent value for the price paid. Is it a mistake? Its packaging is too colourful for its pedigree, which is also a success because you don’t confuse it with its older brother, the beautiful creation Quorum. Lavender, geranium and leather, an elegant, modern balance, high-quality work, a piece close to genius, with marketing aimed at the masses that didn’t allow it to take its rightful place in history. If you see it, don’t let it pass you by.

  • Lavender! It smells very much like Polo Sport and Perry Ellis Reserve. I recommend this fragrance; don’t be fooled by its low cost, it’s good and will make you feel fresh and clean.

This fragrance is one of my boyfriend’s and he wears it in spring-summer. At first, I perceive a rich, masculine scent; what I notice most is a strong lavender and some citrus, probably grapefruit. It easily lasts five hours. As I say, it has a strong opening; I don’t know the original Polo Sport nor if it resembles it here, but I find it similar to Cool Water as he owns both. It must be the lavender that predominates, only that Cool Water is much softer and this is stronger, more intense. If you don’t like lavender, I wouldn’t recommend it, but if you do, it’s a good fragrance at a low cost.

Very much of the 90s; you might feel a bit old wearing it, but it is a fragrance that is too masculine and intoxicating. It won’t appeal to most young people now (including myself) who prefer sweet citrus scents, as women usually like that sweet touch which this perfume lacks. That said, it’s good: a classic, fresh but potent scent. Good longevity. The price is the best part and the bottle is very 90s but very beautiful. That standout blue is the best; I love that blue glass like in Dylan Blue. It smells best freshly applied; afterwards the notes aren’t as special. Perhaps because the citrus is more noticeable at first. More for daytime than nighttime use. It can be worn in any setting except parties (it stands out, isn’t fun, it’s flat and serious), but it looks spectacular at the gym.

  • A good fragrance. At first, it didn’t quite convince me, but after three or four minutes, I was pleasantly surprised by a very clean, sporty scent, ideal for a weekend stroll by the coast. The longevity is incredible; I wore it after a hot shower and it lasted over eight hours; after six hours it projects less but remains present. Note: spray at 10-15 cm from the skin. It’s a classic aroma, a bit like a logger with a good beard, haha, but it fits in today. I think I grew up smelling this as a child and it’s imprinted in my subconscious, which is why I like it immediately. It reminds me of the movie Scarface: sun, beach, floral shirt, Miami, luxury cars… (novice opinion, trying to describe it as I feel it).

  • I recommend it because it smells good, lasts long, and the price is ridiculous. It leaves you feeling fresh and clean; the scent is stable with little evolution but leaves a nice trail.

  • Excellent… I’ve been wearing this since 1997. I must admit they diluted it considerably and it no longer has the potency of the 90s, but I still think it’s a great fragrance.

  • Jorge Pizarro

It is truly satisfying to see that fragrances from the early 90s remain as current as this. The price/performance ratio is really ridiculous. It’s a fresh and serious fragrance at the same time, clean, with a very good vibe, very versatile for the day and very linear in its development. I especially recommend it for holiday days at the beach and the gym.

  • daniiecrowley

Scent of a clean man, what a man should smell like in heat. I don’t see it as an old-fashioned scent; it suits men from 25 upwards and downwards; with character, it looks very good. It projects well for the first 3 hours and then drops to 4 hours close to the skin, smelling like rich and fresh shower gel. Without a doubt, a great success to buy in these times: good for the office as it’s not invasive, good for the gym due to the freshness and good for leaving the gym showered as one should be, an exercised and clean man. Only point against: the atomiser sprays too much and is lost in transit. Scent: 8, Longevity: 8.5, Projection: 8, Price: 10, Rating: 8.62.

  • I don’t like it at all, it smells very artificial and the dry-down is horrible, at least on my skin, nothing like Silver or the classic.

  • I’ve seen on Fragrantica that some wait for a fragrance super niche with 72 hours of longevity and a trail of 4 km. Friends, wake up, it’s not like that. I believe criticism should be based on price/performance: is it worth what you pay? Does it give you more for that price? Is it a scam? Are there better ones for the same money? Said that: exquisite, refreshing without being aquatic, adult, slightly vintage (due to the oakmoss), very clean, even with a talc note. Perfect for spring and especially summer (day and night). Totally for daily use. Is it worth the price? Absolutely. It even qualifies as a signature fragrance. To my taste: Aqua Quorum > Quorum > Quorum Silver.

  • A refreshing blast of grapefruit (something alcoholic at first) that dries down to a notable and relaxing lavender. At the base, oakmoss timidly appears, gaining confidence and intimacy with the geranium to give a soft talc effect, nothing sweet. It’s fresh and robust, excellent for cooling down in the heat at a ridiculous price. It’s worth more than it costs. Yes, it’s synthetic, but if you want something more natural, pay at least ten times more. Yes, it’s generic, but think: since 1994, how many haven’t copied the style of the legends? This is one of those legends. Totally recommended.

  • DavidCovidfield

A classic summer fragrance, the typical cologne you used to get as a child or teenager. It’s harmless, without pretensions of magnificence, refreshing and cheerful, but nothing more. An economical option for wearing indoors on hot days to feel a rich aroma for a while. Performance is very weak, even with heavy application. I like it, but there are better options even considering how cheap it is.

  • The presentation is rather ugly but the atomiser has power. Not so the fragrance. The opening is pleasant, not alcoholic. As it dries, it gives a deodorant sensation. It lasts a long time on skin and clothes, but has no projection; you can apply it 12 or more times without worry. It’s not annoying, but it goes largely unnoticed.

  • If you know Polo Sport, this will sound familiar; perhaps it’s not identical but it comes close. It’s a pleasant, uplifting blue aromatic fragrance from before the genre went mainstream. The mint isn’t in the notes, but you can feel it in the blend; the leather is there, layered underneath. Good price, you get a bottle and an 80s-style cap that looks retro cool, with a current scent.

  • @efrensil says Harry Fremont, creator of Aqua Quorum and also Polo Sport, copied the formula and offered it to Ralph Lauren, who accepted. That’s why they are almost identical, although Aqua Quorum is much cheaper. Cheers.

  • It’s the original Polo Sport, released earlier and I believe it lasts longer. The price ratio is 1 to 4 compared to Polo Sport, so you know which one to choose…

The 90s at their finest. It gives me the sensation of a new video game room, a movie premiere, or when you bought your favourite trainers and opened the box. Smells great, it’s a beautiful and fun fragrance.

  • My first perfume back in the 90s, a gift from my sister. Fresh and sweet on my nose, memories of party nights and carefree days. Every so often I buy it again; although the longevity is shorter, it remains a lovely scent.

  • This one definitely has lavender! I understand that elements have become synthetic due to inflation, ‘resource conservation’, or restricted ingredients. Also, the drive to cut costs for mass production without caring about quality. But why? Why do lavender notes smell so artificial, metallic, and bland today, more like disinfectant? The disaster with the old Giorgio Wings is unforgivable. It seems that whole wave of 90s fresh aquatic fragrances, which shone so brightly, are now reformulated and smell like cheap air fresheners. But it wasn’t always like this; there was an era with quality worth respecting, natural aromas, or ones trying to approach them. It wasn’t a case of dilution, but of exploring other variants, leaving behind woody and tobacco scents due to saturation. Finding a 90s bottle of Aqua Quorum is like reviving those classics. Puig knew what to do: they sniffed the market and hired expert noses in ‘aquatic’, including the creator of New West for Him and Polo Sport. As soon as you spray, you feel an electric freshness with a lavender that sparkles. It’s not dense, accompanied by the freshness of grapefruit which makes it lighter. As it settles, geranium and a soft, ambered moss appear. The grapefruit calms down, the florals vibrate. With minimal floral notes, lavender has its place. Perfect for those who love this note. It makes its mark against the old Giorgio Wings or Horizon by Guy Laroche, where florals dominate. Reminiscent of Animale without so much bergamot, or Cool Water and Polo Sport, but with its own charm. Although it doesn’t appear in Fragantica’s notes, it has wood when dry, perhaps some leather, less obvious than in the Horizon. It progresses and becomes more interesting. It’s a BOMB for being aquatic: one spray has extraordinary projection and fixation. Be careful, because fresh doesn’t mean weak. It has a slight citrus acidity that persists, but it’s not metallic or opaque. If you already have Animale or Polo Sport, it’s not strictly necessary, but for the cheap price, it’s worth it. It’s a ‘must-have’ for this style. My review is of a 90s tester.

  • What a wonderful perfume. Smells like a sporty man, an excellent representation of the 90s label. If you like Polo Sport, you can’t miss Aqua Quorum; it’s the original formula. Cheaper and with better longevity than Polo Sport. Clean scent with that lavender and freesia. A bomb for being aquatic. Highly recommended and it has the 3 Bs (good, beautiful, and mega cheap).

Aqua Quorum is fresh, blue, and sporty; it fulfils its function very well. It’s the third time I’ve bought it; it’s always been in my collection because my father has been wearing it since the 90s. It’s a classic of that era. Its scent reminds me of Le Male or Cool Water. In two words: aromatic and simple. Flat, simple notes full of nostalgia, very comfortable on any nose. The note that stands out most is lavender, present from the spray until dry down. Also, that grapefruit gives it a pleasant citrus touch. It can feel slightly synthetic, but then again, it’s under $15. Despite the price, it doesn’t smell like alcohol. Ideal for the gym, school, beach trips, or hot days. Watch out with usage: there are many similar ones at this price (Cool Water, Voyage, Cold, Life Energy) that have stolen its market. A double-edged sword: advantage, it stands out in the crowd; disadvantage, overstocking. I bought one that had been waiting for a buyer for two years and its projection dropped significantly. Finally, I’ve received compliments from women for its freshness and cleanliness. In conclusion: easy to use, masculine, fresh, and versatile. 8.5/10.

  • andreguilera

Excellent fragrance, ideal for those days when you don’t know what to use or for heading to the gym. Smells clean. Perfect for everyday wear. Projection: 6/10. Longevity: 7/10. Price: 10/10.

  • Davidsitooo

The price is a laugh. It’s a fresh, floral, vintage fougère, timeless and perfect when you don’t know what to wear. Yes, it’s classic, but it doesn’t smell old; brilliant for spring, summer, and even autumn. What does it smell like? To me, it’s floral detergent and fresh, not fabric softener because it lacks creaminess, nor soap because it’s more sparkling. At $15, it’s a must-have.

  • Smells like ‘new’: a new shirt, a new suit, or office leaves freshly taken out of the packet. It conveys seriousness and maturity. It would be one of my favourites if it weren’t for a note that reminds me of sweat, which takes away a bit of that ‘clean scent’ and gives it a ‘rebellious seriousness’. Nevertheless, I recommend it wholeheartedly: it’s potent, intense, and impossible to miss. Moderate longevity and a good trail. I give it a 6/10.

  • Fragranticman

Lavender and citrus, nothing more. I absolutely love it for its simplicity. It smells incredibly clean, but be warned: the trail is brutal and fills the room for the first couple of hours, so use it with moderation. Lasts a medium amount of time, around 4-6 hours. Despite the years, it never goes out of style; it’s timeless, ideal for anyone from 25 upwards, even up to 60 if you wish. And the best part: it’s a bargain. It’s a decent fragrance, not mind-blowing but certainly not annoying. Since I discovered it, I’ve bought no fewer than five bottles. I agree with all the previous reviewers. I give it a 6/10.

  • JesusValper

An incredible low-cost option. It smells 95% like Polo Sport (and if you consider the story that Fremont stole the formula and sold it to RL). The only thing is that perhaps they changed something that makes Polo feel more refined, with a slight dusty touch that gives it elegance and formality. Pity they discontinued it; it’s the most usable Quorum for a younger audience (whereas the original and Silver are better suited for adults over 30).

  • micoelperfumista

A perfume that definitely smells classic and gives me a lot of nostalgia when I apply it, it never offends as long as you are careful with the sprays because it projects a lot.

  • Tremendous fragrance, doesn’t feel old or anything. I’m 33 and I love it. It’s powerful for being fresh, feels aquatic and herbal. I applied it three hours ago and it’s still radiating strongly, totally recommended, bought blind. I paid $10 in Chile for the 100ml. They say it’s similar to Cool Water (one of my favourites), but I don’t find anything similar; they’re on the same fresh-aquatic line. Price 10/10, Scent 8/10, Sillage 8/10, Longevity 8/10.

  • Very pleasant aroma 😍, soft and slightly sweet, rich. It has a super grapefruit tone 👍🏻. Excellent performance (hours on skin), lasts for days on clothes. A 4×4 jewel (suitable for all seasons). You buy it with your eyes closed 💯% recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️

  • Victortor

A vintage aroma that holds up well over time without feeling dated. There are no mysteries here: lavender, citrus and moss. It has an earthy, herbal base that is refreshing in its own way. There’s also a floral touch, but it’s not the star; it simply complements the composition and adds relaxation as it dries down. Excellent value for money, although in the end I stick with Quorum. Less so in cold weather, it works all year round. It’s not for very young people; it’s for middle age, a good office option. It smells serious, without sharp edges, mature. It’s very good and if you see the price… it performs more than it’s worth.

  • Totally low cost, good longevity and a pleasant aroma for any occasion. It’s one of my first perfumes; I’m 38 and have loved it since I was 15, which makes me feel it’s an ‘hug-able’ scent. The only detail is that sometimes I feel the dry-down is slightly acidic. It’s not discontinued in Chile and costs $10 or $12.

  • I haven’t smelled this in over 30 years; I bought it blind today and it smells exactly as I remembered. What a great fragrance for 12 euros. It lasts twice as long as any current designer eau de toilette. It’s fresh, clean and sober. Of course, it recalls 90s perfumes, but it still has its share of modernity. At first, it smells soapy and dries down to something more serious and mossy. A great purchase for my collection, and what a pity that other Puig classics like Vetiver or Sybaris have been discontinued.

  • Felipe_fotografo

Smells super fresh, almost marine, sporty style, ideal for summer at the beach. It’s very similar to Polo Sport.

  • It’s a perfume that delivers and smells rich, very similar to Polo Sport but at a price that doesn’t hurt.

  • Top fragrance; I paid 300 pesos (around $18) and it smells incredible. It’s floral and citrusy but with a strong masculine edge, bringing back memories of the 90s or early 2000s. Honestly, for this price, it’s a better option than Nautica Voyage; Aqua Quorum beats this one.
