Polo Blue Sport smells good but fades quickly. It opens fresh, fruity and sharp with green apple, mint and mandarin. The cedar is barely noticeable at first but later becomes key. In the heart, sage, ginger and green notes give it a natural air. The base is traditional: tonka bean, musk, sandalwood, patchouli and oakmoss. It reminds me of Polo Sport from ’94 and Hugo Boss Hugo, as if they had mixed both. It projects well at the start and is dynamic, but then it becomes boring. It lacks the suede and melon touch of the original Polo Blue that made it more interesting. In the end, it’s very generic. More than a fougère, I think it’s a green aromatic. The longevity is good, but like the whole Polo line, it’s not cheap. I still prefer Polo Sport and Polo Blue.
I’m not an expert, but Polo Blue Sport smells lovely. It’s a bit sweeter than fresh, like a blend between Polo Red and my current Polo Blue, which smells more of wood. It has that elegant Polo scent, but it doesn’t make you stand out in a crowd. The longevity is good; I wore it for six hours and it still reached me, something that doesn’t happen with the original Polo Blue which disappears in 15 minutes. I see it as an occasional fragrance, to break out of the daily routine.
Polo Blue Sport smells refined, sporty and properly manly. It reminds me of Trussardi Uomo 2011, ideal for after a shave. I like it, although it doesn’t smell like Polo Sport or Hugo Boss Hugo.
Polo Blue Sport is fresh, citrusy and aromatic. Opening with mandarin, apple and mint, with the cedar attenuated. The heart combines crushed leaves, cedar leaves, aquatic fern, ginger and sage. The wood, musk and dry amber reveal patchouli and oakmoss. Good longevity and projection.
It is described as fresh, citrusy and aromatic. Polo Blue Sport opens with mandarin, apple and mint; the cedar is felt but attenuated. Edit 28/06/16: I have been wearing it consecutively for days, now that it is summer it is at its ideal point. It still smells good, but it has a major drawback: longevity. 10 sprays every three hours, yes, that is what it sounds like. I need that much to feel it all day. The longevity is abysmal and the trail disappears quickly. I wanted to edit my initial review because it is not a cheap fragrance that sometimes lasts a very long time for this to happen. What a pity, if you use it in summer for a month you will finish the 125ml bottle. 13/04/16: I like it, it is sporty, aquatic, it reminds me of Davidoff Cool Water but with more quality and less intrusive. A good perfume for any occasion, I associate it more with summer and social/sporting activities. It has a good trail. Scent 7/10 Versatility 8/10 Trail 5/10 Longevity 1/10.
The best in the Polo line alongside the classic Blue. It smells very good and lasts a long time on clothes, the best for daily use. Tastes change, it gave me a headache when I used it, so I gave it away…
The best option after Ralph Red White & Blue. It is excellent for day or night, winter or summer and attracts women with honey, brown eyes and fair skin greatly. 93/100.
I had two targets in mind: Polo Sport and Hugo Boss, looking for something classic without taking a risk. I came across Polo Blue Sport and it was a hit, a fusion of both. I saved a bundle, bought a bottle on offer and it came to twenty dollars less. All in all, perfect. It smells green, fresh, light and easy to wear, recommended for spring and summer days. Although I am cautious, it doesn’t go amiss in autumn and winter. I hadn’t used it yet, but spring had arrived and I tried it out at 25 degrees. Performance similar to Polo Blue: average longevity and moderate trail. Ideal for smelling good without making a scene. I am satisfied, yes.
I had Polo Sport and Hugo Boss Hugo in mind to break out of the routine with something classic, but I came across Polo Blue Sport and it was a great success; it seems like a fusion of both. I saved a lot by buying the bottle on offer, about 20 dollars. It all worked out perfectly. It’s green, fresh, light, easy to wear and recommended for spring-summer, although despite my care, it doesn’t go badly in autumn-winter. The longevity and trail are average and moderate, similar to Polo Blue. Ideal for smelling good without making a scene. I was satisfied with its performance.
Previously, it was the multi-award-winning Polo Blue by Benaim and Laudamiel; this flanker stems from that. There’s little left of the Polo Blue that lasted days and was adored by women, now as common as Invictus. As a fan of Benaim’s sanity and style, which brought me to Ralph Laures, I tried this flanker several times and concluded: It’s worth it. For the house’s philosophy and its way of expressing itself. Polo Blue Sport is a sport scent in pure American style. Its semi-tonic opening presents a refined aroma with green and fruity nuances of green apple skin over mint, woods, and resins. It reminds me a bit of Allure Homme Sport. As the brightness fades, it compacts to reveal a fresh fern botanical character, linear and discreet. RL bets on understated refined elegance, necessary depending on the occasion. It’s not scandalous, nor do I think it should be explosive. It could appeal to those who object to using invasive scents in workplace or study environments; it could be Clark Kent’s fragrance. I like its linearity; one needs scents for work environments to ensure peace reigns.
The original Polo Blue, created by Benaim and Laudamiel, lasted days and was loved by women, until it became as common as Invictus. I’m a fan of Benaim’s sanity and style, which brought me to Ralph Lauren years ago. I tried this flanker several times and finally said: it’s worth it. It’s a sport fragrance in pure American style. Its semi-tonic opening is refined, with green and fruity nuances of green apple skin over mint, woods and resins. It reminds me a bit of Allure Homme Sport. As the initial brightness fades, it compacts showing a fresh fern botanical character, with little evolution. It’s linear and discreet. Here RL bets on a refined, low-key elegance, necessary depending on the occasion. It’s not scandalous, nor should it be. It’s aimed at those who prefer not to use invasive aromas at work or in studies; it would be the Clark Kent fragrance. I like its linearity and one needs fragrances for work environments so peace can reign.
A very good fragrance; for a sport scent, it’s excellent. It opens with citrus notes but doesn’t last long, then settles into a rich creaminess with high-quality mint. I really like this Polo one. It’s ideal for enclosed spaces because it doesn’t overwhelm, yet it is still enjoyable.
Very good fragrance, for a sport it’s excellent. It opens citrusy but for little time, then it seeks a rich creaminess alongside high-quality mint. Personally I really like this Polo fragrance. It’s excellent for enclosed places because it’s not invasive, but it is enjoyable.
I picked it up on offer alongside Ralph Club, thinking it would be a good option. It smells nice, but it doesn’t last even a second and has no projection. It’s not worth it; at best, it could serve as an aftershave, but certainly not for the price.
A blue, fresh, and versatile scent. Although it smells lovely, on my skin it lasts around 30 minutes before disappearing completely. This has happened with every RL I’ve tried. I’m not sure if it’s the brand, my skin, or simply that they aren’t made to blend well. What a pity. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 0/10 A delicious sigh xD.
Zero projection. Performs like Polo Sport initially but clings to the skin and smells like Polo Blue. I bought it because I liked both, but I’ve lost my money. The longevity is inferior to both fragrances it claims to combine.
