I’ve noticed the quince’s citrus sweetness throughout the perfume’s life; it’s a delight if you know it. It blends with aquatic tones and a dirty edge, presumably from seaweed or ambergris. It doesn’t declare white musk, but I’d say it does, along with a touch of lily, creating a crisp aroma that contrasts with that dark seaweed/ambergris note that comes and goes. Longevity, projection, and trail are within standard. A highly recommended scent.
A fragrance marvel; this is truly a perfumon. Atlante is delicious, marine, and salty with incredible longevity. Refined, attractive, versatile, and dense with quality ingredients. It opens with rich yuzu alongside the marine notes, then becomes mineral, with woods and ambergris taking the lead. To stand out in the heat, it leans feminine, but I would wear it. Projects massively and is noticeable from metres away. A great proposal by Sarah Baker, highly recommended.
Beautiful. The opening is foul and smells of fish, but it evolves into a journey to a sunny beach. It’s hyper-realistic, slightly salty with fresh yuzu. It vaguely recalls Acqua di Sale. Ideal for summer. I love it 10/10.
At first, it reminds me of Voyage 83 but with steroids: brutal performance and a delicious aroma. It’s marine, salty, and cold (not aquatic), with a metallic touch of seaweed. It’s complex and for demanding noses.
Although I’m not a fan of calone, I recognise it’s good for marine lovers. The dry-down is original, fresh, and measured, with realistic nuances of sea breeze. The opening, however, is a slap in the face of seaweed and melonised calone, though the sparkling yuzu adorns it. As it dries, woods, ambroxan, mineral notes, and a salty accord with fruity reminiscences remain. Overall, it doesn’t quite fit the bill. Moderate-to-high trail and 9-hour longevity. If you’re seeking salt, there are better options without that unpleasant opening. Scent 5/10, Longevity 9/10, Trail 8/10, Value 6/10, Versatility 4/10, Packaging 7/10. Would not buy again.
Striking and addictive opening that evokes a sea breeze, cleanliness, and comfort. The yuzu isn’t as sharp as in others, but the mineral notes and ambergris give it a crispness. Although a declared musk is missing, the seaweed adds a hyper-mega-addictive salty touch. Want to feel like you’re on a Caribbean cruise in a freshly ironed white shirt? This extract captures it perfectly. It’s a very different marine scent; it blew my mind. Ideal for summer or mild climates, both casual and formal. Pro: good price for an extract, long trail, and freshness halo. A complete success, thanks Sarah McCartney.
Quite a striking and addictive opening, it evokes a sea breeze that gives a sense of cleanliness and comfort. It’s not as sharp a yuzu as I’ve seen in other fragrances, but it’s present; the mineral notes and ambergris give that crisp touch. Although I agree there should be an undeclared musk, the seaweed adds a hyper-addictive salty twist. Want to feel that sensation of being on a cruise in the Caribbean? This perfume extract represents that scenario perfectly, evoking a freshly ironed white shirt. It’s a very different marine scent to anything I’ve tried; it completely blew my mind. It’s an olfactory experience that places you in an idyllic maritime setting, one of rest and connection with nature, inspiring a good vibe. I see it very much as my signature fragrance because it’s distinctive and I haven’t seen anyone else smelling like this. To be my chosen one out of 25 niche summer fragrances I tried at a perfume tasting is saying a lot. Occasions: summer in high temperatures or temperate climates, as it’s not an overwhelming scent; casual and formal events, where it stands out very well. Pros: for a perfume extract, it can be found at a relatively good price for such a lovely proposal; good sillage, leaving a halo of freshness as you pass. A total hit, thanks Sarah McCartney.
A realistic fragrance with a brutal sea aroma; without being exaggerated, it smells too much like fish to me. It’s a beautiful and powerful perfume. At first, it took me quite a while to get used to what I was smelling, but as the hours passed, it evolved, leaving a summery scent very similar to spending all day under the sun, with dry sand and saltwater on the skin. A 10/10 fragrance.
A realistic and brutal fragrance without exaggeration, though it initially smells of fish and takes time to get used to. Over time, it evolves into something summery: sun, sand, and dry seawater on the skin. It’s beautiful, punchy, and deserves a 10/10.
