I tried this today at a perfumery. The opening is original, like a twist on woody/spicy notes with cardamom. After a few minutes, I detect a note reminiscent of incense or exotic spices, but with a synthetic laboratory touch that doesn’t convince me; I feel the same way about Versace Eros Flame in its heart notes. The website mentions the synthetic ‘Pepperwood’, and although it’s not declared, here it smells exactly like that. It feels like the industry abuses unoriginal synthetic scents. Still, if you like woody notes with cardamom, it’s a good option, but test it first. The opening is rich and original, but watch how those spicy notes develop. It’s worth trying. The longevity is quite good, nothing to object to.
