It’s floral, as the name suggests, with lots of rose. Ideal for daily wear in spring and summer: soft, feminine, and not heavy, so it doesn’t overwhelm those around you. Although it’s a flanker of Bombshell, it has nothing to do with it; the original is fruity and sparkling to attract attention, whereas Wild Flower is simple, a typical floral, but with a touch of coquettishness that makes it worth trying.
Floral to a tee, with rose in full bloom. I use it daily in spring and summer: it’s soft, feminine, and leaves no heavy trail, so it doesn’t bother anyone. Despite being a flanker of Bombshell, they are nothing alike; the original is fruity and sparkling to seduce, while Wild Flower is a simple floral but with a touch of coquettishness that makes it interesting to try.
Fresh and sparkling, I’d say aquatic, ideal for spring and summer; it will bring you compliments.
As I mentioned before, I no longer shop at Victoria’s Secret, though I used to love them and still have many fragrances to review. Their stores are like adult amusement parks with delightful scents, gorgeous packaging, and constant new arrivals; some perfumes genuinely appeal to me. I’ve bought a few second-hand, which is a great option if you still want the brand. I’m glad the brand recently acknowledges perfumers more, recognising their authorship (though not in this case). This Bombshell Wild Flower doesn’t convince me; it has nothing special and no wild floral character. It smells basically of lotus, that aquatic, clean floral note I adore, but unfortunately lacks nuance and depth. It comes across as bland and artificial, far too simple. English reviews say it smells like bubblegum, and I admit it does have a powdery dry-down reminiscent of the sugar in some bubblegum. It has a very soft sillage and lasts 3–4 hours on my skin. I use it after showering for a workout, but it has proven boring and soulless. Perhaps it suits those seeking something very soft by personal preference, or for someone with a highly sensitive nose, or for specific work environments. It fits the brand stereotype: soft, casual, forgettable scents with poor performance. Scent 3/10, Longevity 3.5/10, Sillage 3/10, Value for money 3/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? No.
