I have the shimmer version, it smells very vanilla, sweet, delicious… I like it quite a lot.
I love it! I’ve used it every day, it’s super long-lasting, and for a body mist the scent lingers quite well on the skin. I have the shimmer version and it leaves some really pretty sparkles 🤭❣️. I like the cashmere because it stops it from smelling just like cloying vanilla. If you like well-sweet perfumes, this is the one for you.
What a lovely body splash! The vanilla is warm and cosy, like a little blanket on a cold afternoon. Victoria’s Secret has delicious body mists and this definitely does not disappoint.
I love it! It’s very tasty; it was a gift and when I first smelled it I hated it because it smelled very much of wood, but after a few minutes the vanilla comes through. I’d love to find a perfume with this same aroma but with less wood and more vanilla, it would be perfect 😍. I use it a lot in winter and autumn; the one time I tried it badly was in summer, and then I bought it again the following summer and the smell was terrible. So definitely the weather influences how we perceive scents, because in winter it smells very delicious.
No vanilla perfume comes close to this mist. Good sillage, excellent longevity on me (+8 hours on skin). I hope they don’t ruin it with reformulations.
I started my love affair with gourmand perfumes with this scent… very tasty and I’ve been thoroughly pampered!
No. Simply no. It smells like a cheap, nasty cologne, totally synthetic and not pleasant at all. I really don’t understand the hype because this is a disappointment; don’t waste your money.
Delicious! It has creamy vanilla and the cashmere gives it an elegant touch. It lasts quite a while on the skin for a body mist; it’s a scent I put on and constantly get compliments about. I enjoy it very much and will definitely buy it again when it runs out.
I absolutely love this body mist! When I was just starting out in the world of fragrances, this was my main goal, and since I got it, I’ve adored it with my whole heart. It smells like very creamy vanilla at first, then settles into super cosy woody notes. I use it every day, and the longevity and sillage are good for an affordable body mist. I love it and will keep buying it <3
Smells like a vanilla baby cologne, almost identical to Bare Vanilla Luxe.
It smells like a pancake; it’s delicious and perfect for layering.
It reminds me literally of the ‘serenito’ dessert from Argentina. Very tasty, youthful and with good longevity.
It’s too rich. Someone gave it to me and I fell in love. It doesn’t smell like bakery vanilla, but something different, dark and sexy. Lasts all day, even as a body mist. The sillage is good; you can smell it when you’re nearby. Ideal for cold or mild days (15-20 degrees); in the heat it would give me a headache. The alcohol is noticeable at first but disappears. Highly recommended for everyday wear or layering.
Pure vanilla, but not bakery-style. It feels dark. If you like vanilla, buy it blind. As a body mist it doesn’t last long and doesn’t project much; I use it as a base for layering with almost all my perfumes, especially Coconut Passion. Given the short duration, it’s not worth the shop price; I always buy it on promotion.
Vanilla, but not ice cream vanilla; it’s boozy and caramelised. Dark, feminine, mature and sexy. Comforting, warm and sensual. I use Victoria Secret body mist to sleep in, but this is ideal for cold nights.
I absolutely adore it. I was ignoring Bare Vanilla thinking it would be childish, but it’s the exact opposite. Far from gourmand, it’s dark and sexy vanilla. The cashmere adds a salty leather note at first, then it becomes sweet and vanilla-infused, though at times it reminds me of dry meringue. Perfect for cold weather; it will leave a trail of rich vanilla.
Not bakery vanilla, but artificial. I put it on and my daughter said it smelled like a teddy bear. I love it.
It’s a winter fragrance, smelling like baking a cake in the kitchen. Warm. Using it in the heat is a mistake; it feels heavy. The vanilla is dark, sexy and distinct, nothing childish. The cashmere smells of wool and evokes warmth. As a body mist that doesn’t project beyond 30 minutes it’s fine; on clothes it lasts three to four hours, on skin about two. I’m not a vanilla fan, so I wouldn’t buy it again.
Straight out of the bottle it smells of cashmere, but after half an hour the vanilla takes over. It’s not a sweet body splash; it’s more serious and formal. Only for cold weather, as it feels welcoming; forget it in the heat. Lasts about six hours. I wouldn’t recommend it; it’s not what I was looking for.
I don’t understand the good reviews. It bears no resemblance to Kayali’s Vanilla 28. It smells cheap, with no sillage and poor projection, almost imperceptible.
Caramelised vanilla; it reminds me of dulce de leche, it’s muuuy delicious. Although as a body splash it hardly lasts on the skin, it clings better to hair and clothes. It’s a bit heavy for the heat but it’s one of my favourite scents; I want to use it at my wedding :3
What a disgusting smell. I’m a fan of vanilla but I can’t stand this one; it smells too cheap. It’s so unpleasant that it makes me nauseous; I don’t understand the positive reviews. It doesn’t smell like pancakes or pastries, just 99% alcohol and 1% vanilla, and its longevity is terrible.
I ADORE THIS VANILLA. I HAVE HIGH-END NICHES AND EVERYTHING ELSE. BUT BARE VANILLA GIVES ME PEACE EVERY TIME I SENSE IT. IT DOESN’T MATTER THAT IT HAS NO SILLAGE. IT’S EVERYTHING THAT’S RIGHT… WHEN I NEED TO IMPROVE MY MOOD. OR FOR SLEEPING.. IT’S LIKE A PENANCE FOR CALMING. I RECOMMEND IT OBVIOUSLY IF YOU LIKE GOURMAND. NO DEMANDS.
Elegant, seductive, and above all comforting vanilla, like a warm, sweet embrace. With scented lotion, it lasts hours on the skin and is perfect for layering to add a sweet touch to any fragrance. I love the body cream of the same scent, and they often come in combos at a good price.
I hate it. Given the price in Chile (20,000 CLP), it smells extremely synthetic, cheap, and puts me in a bad mood. I will never like it; it’s artificial vanilla that lasts nothing and has no sillage; you only notice it when you apply it. Perfect for someone who knows nothing about perfumes—a safe gift but horrible for those who do. I’d rather spend 5-15 pesos more on something that doesn’t smell like synthetic vanilla. Do not use it in heat or at the office or school.
No high-end vanilla perfume equals Bare Vanilla. I’ve been using it for years and never get tired of it. It smells soft, seductive, and elegant, yet also youthful and playful; its warm aroma calms me. At first, you notice the cashmere, then the vanilla. Although it is soft, it clings to clothes and hair. An absolute must-have for lovers of sweet fragrances.
It’s not a proper perfume; it smells like chilli, and its longevity is very poor.
It blends perfectly with the lotion and is top-notch; the scent lingers if you apply it to your clothes.
It smells like cocoa butter, similar to that lip balm for dry lips. Once it dries, the vanilla is reminiscent of Dolce & Gabbana Devotion, perhaps a touch more sophisticated due to the cashmere notes. Ideal for a fresh, breezy day.
It’s quite noticeable. I tested it before opening the bottle, but after spraying it today, it smells exactly like Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Forte Bosca Vanilla, though this is softer, less complex, and doesn’t last as long.
Haha, I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s on my list. I smelled it on a colleague’s trail and wtf… I’m not sure if she told the truth… for me, Bare Vanilla was horrible according to the in-store tester, but on the trail it smells distinctly different. I thought it was Cloud Pink or something with that Baccarat and Her note… but a fruity vanilla… I was super confused, but I confirmed it was Bare Vanilla and decided to believe her, haha.
Many hate it for being burnt, but I understand why; it smells like vanilla cookies, offering comfort and it’s delicious. I smelled it on a friend, and it seemed like Oreo cookies. Simply delicious. Moderate longevity on clothes. Be careful in high temperatures.
It’s intense and very sweet, smelling of literal vanilla and caramel. It’s hard to describe, but it’s delicious. It lasts a long time; two sprays on the neck make you feel it all day, with good projection. It’s one of the longest-lasting from VS. I recommend it if you like sweet and vanilla scents; it smells elegant.
It’s a synthetic vanilla mist; it smells manufactured compared to B&B’s Sweet Vanilla. It doesn’t last long; it’s not bad, but it’s not a special mist. There are better options if you want to smell of vanilla.
It smells like pure vanilla essence, very soft. If you love vanilla, it’s a blind buy.
I absolutely love this body splash. I bought it blind and it was a great investment. It’s versatile and suitable almost all year round. I wear it with vanilla notes, keep it in my handbag, and reapply throughout the day. It also works as a room freshener. It’s a delight.
Very overhyped, yet it’s one of the most delicious scents I’ve ever tried.
It smells like custard; it’s lovely but very weak. It doesn’t last even two minutes. You have to keep using the bottle because it’s almost imperceptible.
It’s very alcoholic and I detect an undeclared floral note. Although it claims to be woody and suede vanilla, it’s not a realistic dessert; it smells artificial and synthetic. I had more faith in it, yet it evaporates instantly, and I prefer a vanilla Sapphire instead.
Bare Vanilla used to smell like vanilla cupcakes to me, but they’ve changed the formula and now it smells like olives; it’s already made me gag.
