It was a blind buy: I read the reviews, it said it smelled of roses, plus the name ‘Sea Rose’, so I wanted to try it. It’s a simple, very simple scent… it smells clean but nothing special; I can hardly detect the roses. The sillage is non-existent. I definitely don’t like the Cool Water line. The opening is a light citrus, like a faint breeze of citrus, and its base of ‘roses’ is almost imperceptible.

  • It’s not the minty freshness of Cool Water Woman, it’s a fresh little floral; it’s not as refreshing and revitalising as the original, but it does have a more feminine touch. Longevity and sillage are subtle. As for the notes, I find it artificial, with no particular note standing out, because certainly no one would tell you that you smell of rose or orange. You smell of something and that’s it, but still I could wear it (perhaps this is influenced by the fact that on my other wrist I’m wearing the Roberto Cavalli EDP, with which I simply can’t). In short, a bland perfume that could easily be sold in Bershka. It doesn’t enchant me in the slightest, but it doesn’t bother me either.
