  With this discovery, I learned the original wooden tool for making any kind of tie: a horizontal board with rotating cylindrical pegs; the more pegs, the more complex the knot. The scent transported me to a woodwork workshop where such items are built, perhaps also where pictures are framed or cardstock is cut. It clearly smells of wood, mahogany, and timber. Starting from a fragrance I already love, it evolves and merges with my own skin, creating a unique and even more special version.

  Incredible woody perfume; if you enjoy this style (which some might find harsh), Bowmakers is heaven. But beware: this is WOOD, plain and simple. No nonsense, nothing to soften it. It smells dry, woody, resinous, pitchy, and varnished—so intensely woody that if you don’t connect with it, you might as well be a walking carpentry shop. It’s among my favourites.
