First, the old EDP no longer exists; this is the new Parfum Cologne. It’s fresher because of those citrus notes that were barely noticeable before, but it’s not a citrus perfume; it remains potent and lasts just as well or better than the previous one. It feels like they have modernised it by lowering the patchouli and moss, raising the vanilla and keeping the lavender at full volume. It still has that retro fougère vibe, like Guerlain’s Heritage, but on its own path. The evolution is smooth: lavender and citrus at the start, then spicy vanilla, moss and patchouli with a woody base that gives it masculinity. The barbershop style is there from start to finish. Ideal for any climate (except extreme ones), formal or special occasions. Brutal performance, almost 12 hours close to the skin and projects strongly in the first hours. I’ve liked it more than the EDP, it’s more balanced and has better longevity. The price is still madness, but now it’s 100ml instead of 50. If you like barbershop fougères, buy it without hesitation.
Here goes my first opinion on the Danger Parfum Cologne (tested from a sample). First of all, the EDP version is already discontinued and they have launched this Parfum Cologne, just like with Enigma, Scandal and Vetiver. I have the old version to compare. First, they have made it fresher than before, but not lighter or less potent, nor less long-lasting; in fact, it works even better on my skin. The freshest change is that they have increased the intensity of the citrus notes, which were barely noticeable in the EDP, and here they are, though without dominating. Another change is that they have modernised it by reducing the patchouli and moss, increasing the vanilla and keeping the lavender in the foreground. This gives it a retro fougère vibe but more current. It evolves gradually: it opens with lavender and citrus, and little by little the vanilla, moss and patchouli appear with a woody base without losing the lavender. The vanilla adds a small spicy sweetness and the other notes give it masculinity. You can feel the ‘barbershop’ style from start to finish, just like in the EDP. It goes well in any climate that isn’t extreme, ideal for formal or special occasions. The performance is good; almost 12 hours later, although already close to the skin, I can still smell it. The first hours are very noticeable. Overall, I’ve liked it quite a bit, even more than the EDP, because it’s better balanced and has good longevity. The price is still excessive, but now it’s 100ml instead of 50. Totally recommended if you like barbershop-style fougères. At least give it a sniff!
There’s something peculiar about this perfume: the opening is brilliant, rich and explosive, but once it dries down (at least on my skin) it transforms into a rather unpleasant scent. The cumin in the base is a challenging note; it’s a love-it-or-hate-it affair. Either it develops like a god or it condemns you to smell like an armpit throughout the entire evolution. Although Fragrantica lists ‘body odour’ among the negatives, it depends on each person’s skin. It didn’t convince me and I almost bought it blindly. In the end, I chose Enigma and I couldn’t have made a better choice.
Something strange happens with this perfume: the opening is great, rich and explosive, but as it dries on my skin, it becomes quite unpleasant. The cumin in the base is a difficult note; either they develop it like gods or they condemn you to smelling like an armpit. I’ve seen on Fragrantica that many call it ‘body odour’, but it depends on each skin. It didn’t convince me and I almost bought it blindly, but finally I opted for Enigma and I think I couldn’t have chosen better.
A masculine, elegant, and clean perfume. At first, it’s a mix of top-quality citrus with a lavender that few brands can match; it evokes that sparkling, clean scent with which cinemas used to be perfumed in the old days. The multitude of unfolding notes, with a very subtle vanilla giving a slight sweetness, give it a very powerful seductive character, culminating with the woods and especially a galbanum that gives an incense-like echo to the dry-down. A perfume for men from 30 years old, well-dressed. Suitable for almost any season, taking care not to overdo it with sprays in summer. 7-8 hours on skin with good projection. Another beauty from Roja Dove.
This Danger cologne is very versatile and a great perfume when you don’t know what to wear but want to smell fantastic. I was also surprised that it lasts even longer than the Parfum. For value for money, it’s one of the best options from Roja Parfums: 8/10.

An old-school fougère with a citrus top note that’s a bit hard to translate, but once it develops, it strongly recalls the DNA of 90s fragrances. It’s not characterised by being unique; the top note is dominated by that citrus acidity which, as it matures, gives way to a sweet and spicy scent that accompanies the rest of the fragrance’s life. Regarding performance, it’s not bad compared to others in the line and definitely isn’t for daily use; it’s a mature, elegant scent and certainly not for blind buys. I bought Danger Enigma and Elysium from the three; Elysium is the one that blew my mind, but that will be another review.
A classic yet timeless fougère… I think it’s a good adaptation of those vintage scents for today without losing its essence. Typical DNA but slightly more powdery with spices that give it a ‘different’ touch and personality. Top notes are juicy citrus, prominent lavender, florals, spices, and a hint of green; the palette is very wide. At first, it seems a bit talcum-like, but that’s all it is. Then the tone becomes powdery, leaving the talc behind. On my skin, it sounds spectacular. After an hour, the scent settles into its dry-down axis. It keeps the initial vibe and adds an incredible moss, something sweet (perhaps tonka bean), woods, and vetiver; there’s plenty of depth here. Verdict: a scent worth its weight in gold, but wearing it is a matter of taste. I find it, within an unassuming scent, very well made. I love how the nuances unfold, with extreme coherence. For formal/elegant occasions, masculine and suitable all year round, except the hottest days which might overwhelm. Lasts well beyond 7-8 hours and projects without being invasive. A fragrance for a GENTLEMAN. For the price, I wouldn’t buy it, but on offer it would be a clear candidate for the collection.

I bought a decant and absolutely loved this fougère; it smells luxurious on my skin with 10 hours of longevity, though always close to the skin. It’s not for being noticed by everyone; it’s intimate, meant for your partner to catch between kisses and embraces. It’s like a bubble stuck to you, working close to the skin until it fades. If I get the chance, I’ll buy more out of indulgence rather than value for money. If you want to leave a trail and be noticed by all, this isn’t your perfume; better look elsewhere.
