Am I the only one who smells Dior Homme Parfum? Perfect for autumn and winter, elegant and formal.
What a cosy scent. Classic yet nothing dated, with a creamy and addictive base. Very elegant, even unisex in my opinion. The quality rivals any famous niche (based on the 90s formula). Its only flaw is the projection, which is minimal and stays within your personal bubble. It’s for your own enjoyment, though those close by will notice. Leaves a short but potent trail. Gives the wearer an air of prestige. I don’t know about the modern version, but this is a gem. The bottle is another level.
Guerlain Héritage. Classic French perfumery of quality. Masculine elegance without falling into ridiculously expensive niches or silly exclusivity. It’s not a pop scent or a copy. It won’t suit everyone; those under 35-40 might find it old-fashioned or heavy. It’s a woody amber like Davidoff Zino: dark, strong, and challenging patchouli, with an old-school yet dirty and dark vibe like Habit Rouge or Shalimar (with that genuine animalistic touch from Guerlain). Very well made, with many notes and good longevity. The EDP lasts about 7 hours and leaves a trail for a couple of hours. If you want more projection, look for the EDT. My wife likes it too, so it’s unisex. Guerlain wants to modernise to compete with the big brands. Advice: don’t obsess over finding pre-2013 bottles or checking batches; it’s a nonsense that makes you lose money and time. It smells just as it did before. Summary: supreme quality and pure elegance. Run, young fashionistas.

My first high-quality perfume. I managed to make a woman fall in love with me just by resting my head on a pillow where I’d slept alone. I loved it; it’s citrusy, strong, fresh, and mystical. I can’t describe the details (I’ve worn it for over 15 years), but I always felt very well-dressed with it. I was surprised when I first smelled it: intense, well-bred, high-class, and sophisticated.
