Descripción
Eau Coeur by Thomas de Monaco is a musky floral woody fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2022, this composition is signed by perfumer Maurus Bachmann. The opening features osmanthus, pink pepper, and magnolia, delivering a fresh and spicy start. The heart reveals the delicacy of Moroccan rose, oak, and Virginia cedar, adding warmth and structure. Finally, the base settles on Ambroxan Super, musk, and tonka bean, closing the olfactive pyramid with a silky, enveloping persistence.

A unique fragrance with mixed florals, musk, sweetness, fine woods, and a seductive tonka bean note that emerges as it dries. Magnolia takes the lead in the blend, while osmanthus gives it an almost edible air. Everything is in harmony; nothing stands out too much, achieving a perfect balance. It could be my signature scent: distinctive, welcoming, warm, and long-lasting, people definitely notice it. It has everything a good perfume should. It lasts all day and tattoos itself onto clothes, remaining even after washing. I’d wear it all year round, though spring or cooler days are best. To me, it sounds more feminine than masculine. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever smelled before. A true gem, perfection in a bottle from Thomas de Monaco.

I was tempted to call it vintage, but that modern ambroxan tinge and the peppery note give it away. It smells expensive, yes, but a modern kind of expensive, not old-fashioned. It’s creamy, woody (think pencil shavings or sawdust, not a forest), and floral, with the pepper always adding a sharp edge. The longevity and sillage are insane; you’d wear it for days. It’s a perfume for a LADY in all caps, the kind who commands attention. I can’t see myself defending it.
