  • Although the L.12.12 range has its ups and downs, with this Magnetic it seems they are trying to make a statement. I liked it because finally something interesting has arrived that stands apart from Blanc and Yellow, which smell almost identical. Magnetic is an effective, masculine and youthful fragrance with novel sweet notes. The best part is its dry-down: clean, appealing and different from the traditional aquatic style. It is welcome that the brand has the courage to propose new things, something that isn’t in fashion. Highly recommended.

Bought it blind and what a delightful surprise; I highly recommend it, I agree with MarcusRS.

  • Magnetic is the jewel of the L.12.12 collection, even outperforming the Blanc. It lasts longer and is the quintessential youthful scent for those aged 18 to 25; masculine and versatile, I wear it to uni and it suits almost everyone.

  • After several days of testing, I find it smells wonderful, but the trail is quite strong at first and by three hours it’s clinging to the skin. By seven hours, I can’t detect it at all, what a shame.

  • If you like paying more for the brand than for what’s inside, this is the brand. I discarded it long ago, although I always test if any edition improves, but there are very few. Apart from Blanc and Touch, the rest is water with drops of a fragrance. Regarding this, Lacoste is very simple and repetitive. Bentley Azure is 100 times better; there’s no room for argument. It’s a matter of applying them to your skin and you’ll notice the longevity and quality.

  • Acidic violets. It begins with a citrus and green note, not particularly fresh, slightly sweet with the violet standing out and bamboo in harmony. The trail is soft with medium longevity. For those accustomed to Lacoste… In the end, it turns woody and semi-fresh. Should I be excited? Honestly, it seems very similar to Carolina Herrera Men, but personally I would choose Magnetic; it is more complex and refined. P.S.: For now, I prefer the white Lacoste, although Magnetic is not far behind.

  • Acidic violets. Citrus-green opening, not very fresh, slightly sweet and sour with the violets standing out, and bamboo in harmony. Soft trail and average longevity. For those accustomed to Lacoste… and towards the end of its longevity, it becomes somewhat woody and semi-fresh. Exciting? Honestly, I see it as very similar to Carolina CH Men, but personally, I’d choose Magnétic; its essence is more complex and refined. P.S. For now, I prefer Lacoste Blanc, though Magnétic isn’t far behind.

Acceptable and decent, but still in the category of improvable; I know this perfume could be better than it currently is.

Acceptable and decent, but still in the ‘needs improvement’ category. I know this perfume could be better than it currently is.

Failed purchase due to the price; I will never return to Lacoste, none of them pleased me. This smells like supermarket deodorant, nothing original, super generic and cheap. Only suitable for the gym and burning it off.

A poor blind buy. I let the price guide me and won’t be buying any more Lacoste; I don’t think I like any of them. This one particularly reminds me of any supermarket deodorant (some are even better). Nothing original, super generic and cheap. Only suitable for heading to the gym and burning it off.

A pleasant aroma for those who enjoy fresh, non-sweet fragrances. It has an uncommon touch that I love. Not sophisticated, ideal for daytime wear.

  • I tried it in-store and decided to keep it. The violet is noticeable in all its phases: it starts fresh, and as it moves into the heart and base, that combination bears a strong resemblance to Boss Night. I own it for that reason. It feels less dense than Night. The projection of both BOSS and this Lacoste is similar, but I prefer this Lacoste. When I finish my bottle of Night, I’ll get this one.

  • I tried it in store and let it develop. The violet is noticeable in all its phases; it starts fresh, but as it moves into the middle and final stages, that combination ends up very similar to Boss Night. I say this because it feels less dense than the Night. The projection of Boss and this Lacoste are similar, but I have liked this Lacoste a little more. When the Night runs out, I will get this one.

  • I find it overpriced for such disastrous performance. Apart from that, it smells like deodorant, super generic and totally forgettable. It was one of the first I bought.

  • I find it moderately expensive given its disastrous performance. Otherwise, it’s fairly generic, like deodorant. Completely forgettable, though it was one of the first I purchased.

  • My go-to scent for years. Fresh, youthful yet serious, it projects well for 3 hours and lasts a minimum of 9, lingering longer on clothes. Suitable for both formal and informal occasions, and I’ve almost always received compliments on my trail.

It has a slight resemblance to BOSS Bottled Night, but is less woody and fresher as the violets and woods fade, giving way to citrus and herbal notes. Very nice, with decent longevity: 3 hours of projection and about 6 in total, not bad. It also reminds me of Carlo Corinto One; they share much more in common than with BOSS.
