I’m disappointed that a fragrance with such a striking opening changes so abruptly. The Lacoste one started phenomenally—tropical, sweet, and acidic, super fresh and rich. After 5-10 minutes, it turns vanilla, synthetic, loses its projection, and becomes powdery, killing the initial notes. I understand twists, but here the concept doesn’t quite fit. The bottle is lovely, a black-purple gradient, and the 30 ml size is very convenient.
I’m disappointed that a fragrance with such a strong opening changes so abruptly. The Lacoste one started phenomenally—tropical, sweet, and acidic, super fresh and rich. But after 5–10 minutes, it turns vanilla-like, synthetic, loses its projection, and becomes powdery, completely overshadowing the initial notes. I understand twists, but here the concept just doesn’t add up. The bottle is lovely, with a black-to-purple gradient, and the 30 ml size is very convenient.
Fruity and delicious, but the longevity is lacking: on my skin it doesn’t last more than two hours.
I find this perfume very similar to Milton Lloyd’s Purple; I checked its notes and both share the middle notes, the top notes are different but also fruity, and the base notes share patchouli. I like it, it’s fruity, then the noticeable patchouli is felt, it’s fresh and the notes I detect most are violet and patchouli. I’d say the climate is between summer and spring, and perhaps autumn if it’s hot. If you like fresh, fruity and floral perfumes, then go for it.
I love it! It has everything, it’s fruity, the mango note stands out and it’s delicious, it’s floral, the jasmine adds more sweetness, the rose isn’t very perceptible; and finally the patchouli, vanilla and tonka bean which make it sensual, sweet and alluring. What a delight! It projected amazingly on me and its longevity is acceptable, about 6 hours.
I absolutely love it! It has everything: fruity with mango taking centre stage and tasting delicious, floral with jasmine adding sweetness, while the rose is subtle; and the patchouli, vanilla and tonka bean make it sensual and alluring. What a delight, it projects wonderfully and the longevity is acceptable, around six hours.
IT’S A DELICIOUSNESS, I LOVED IT! I bought it blindly based on the reviews and the olfactory pyramid. As soon as I opened the box (not the perfume) I perceived the fruit scent, I’m a fan of vanilla, tonka bean and sweet smells 🍬🥭. On me, I start to perceive something similar to Zara’s Violet Blossom which I also love, but I didn’t buy it again due to the poor longevity and trail 🤕. Of course, Pure Elle Magnetic is much rounder and sweeter, which makes it sensual, distinguished and coquettish. As for projection, it’s quite good, almost reaching heavy (at least I like it that way) and in longevity too, about 8 hours on the skin, with the first 30 minutes being incredibly delicious before turning sensual, and on clothes, days. RATING: Packaging: 8.5/10, Bottle: 10/10 (the purple colour is gorgeous and looks super elegant), Scent: 10/10, Trail: 9.5/10, Longevity: 9/10. Would Buy Again: 10/10 (yesiii). OVERALL NOTE: 9.5 😉
It is absolutely delicious—I love it! I bought it blindly based on the reviews and the pyramid. As soon as I opened the box, I smelled fruit; I’m a huge fan of vanilla, tonka bean, and all things sweet 🍬🥭. On me, it smells similar to Zara’s Violet Blossom, which I also adore, but I haven’t repurchased it due to poor longevity and sillage. Pure Elle Magnetic is rounder and sweeter, sensual and flirtatious. The projection is good, almost heavy (I like it that way), and the longevity is great too—around eight hours on skin. It’s incredible for the first 30 minutes, then it turns sensual and lasts for days on clothes. Packaging: 8.5/10, Bottle: 10/10 (the purple is gorgeous and slender), Scent: 10/10, Sillage: 9.5/10, Longevity: 9/10. Would buy again: 10/10 (yes indeed!). Overall rating: 9.5 😉
This fragrance is a definition of sweet mango; as the minutes pass, the powdery mango starts to be felt, very rich, but the trail is very weak and the longevity barely reaches two hours, and that’s with the nose close to where you apply the perfume.
It smells like clean but sweet mango; as the minutes pass it becomes a little powdery. I liked it very much, but I still prefer Lacoste Sparkling. I give this 9.5 out of 10 ❤️
In my humble opinion, if you love the smell of mango and flowers like patchouli and a little bit of rose, buy it. I’ve never been very keen on tropical and floral scents, which is what this perfume smells like, quite strong. I was recommended it and at first it smells clean (just a little), but mostly it smells of mango and flowers with a church-like scent. Perhaps a bit unisex, as a colleague smelled almost the same, only that here the feminine side is perhaps 5% more marked.
What a magnificent scent, it smells divine! It’s a ripe, juicy mango with a very musky and floral base 🥭🌸. It lasts for hours on my skin with a wide trail, which isn’t surprising as Lacoste always has incredible longevity.

Sweet and special for a cloudy day about to rain. Honestly, I only detect vanilla, tonka bean and a bit of patchouli; no mango, citrus or anything else 🙁
It doesn’t last a second on my skin, nothing! I don’t understand what’s going on… 🥺
What a handsome, vibrant and fruity scent with a sweet touch; the only thing it lacks is lasting more than half an hour on the skin.
