Bvlgari Man Glacial Essence is an aromatic and fresh fragrance. Its scent is not as common as recent releases; it’s fresh but not in a fruity or aquatic style, rather slightly herbal, but above all woody and musky. It’s very pleasant and inoffensive, with a slightly creamy sensation. Good for use in the office, as it’s very discreet, something characteristic of many Bvlgari fragrances, but also for informal outings with friends, such as going to the cinema. Regarding longevity, it has lasted more than 9 hours, but as I mentioned, always on the skin. In terms of age range, I believe it is one of the fragrances that can be worn by young people, middle-aged individuals, or those of a superior age, that is, without restriction. As for climate or seasons, it will adapt better to warm days, in spring, summer, and even autumn on mild, warm days. I’ve seen comparisons made with Carolina Herrera 212, and while they aren’t the same, they do manage a similar style. I like it, even a bit more than Wood Essence and Wood Neroli.
I thought it would be something more ‘fresh’, but no; to be honest, these flankers from the ‘BVLGARI MAN’ family have a cut as sober as their packaging, and by that I don’t mean it’s bad, quite the opposite. If you’re looking for a fragrance with a soft, green, and aromatic scent, then go for it… I find it quite limited in its use, that is, for daytime activities and very much for the office with Italian-cut trousers, or some chino-cut trousers, with a shirt, loafers, and a very good pair of sunglasses… This fragrance is very Italian. As the hours pass, its woody notes settle, a soft musk that makes it slightly sweet, and a lily root that adds a somewhat earthy and powdery touch.
A fragrance that doesn’t offer much to talk about; very mainstream, and its longevity is a maximum of 5 hours. There are undoubtedly better options available, even within the same Bvlgari house. 6/10.
I tried it in a retail store. It’s a good scent, pleasant and ideal for the office. It has a very marked clean smell and gives the sensation of a cold breeze.
24/12/2020 It does what it sets out to do: smell rich. To a certain extent, it’s a pleasant herbal scent. It’s fresh and, at first, I found it traditional, but as it evolves on the skin, it becomes creamy. In my opinion, it’s shy yet imposing. This fragrance is ideal for daytime wear with a white shirt and jeans; it’s crisp and nothing at all cloying to the wearer’s nose. I’ll be updating its behaviour and my recommendation is to apply it to the skin before making a final decision. Personally, I loved it for weekend use, and today being Christmas Eve, greetings to everyone and wishing you a happy Christmas with my very best wishes to all.
What a pity to have such a beautiful brand image and bottle… all to succeed, but mediocre execution and expensive prices. It seems it won’t last, but at a low profile it maintains for hours. The problem is that the scent lacks presence, grace, brightness and quality. It is very safe-mode, for the office and requiring reapplication mid-day, without many pretensions. It is noticeable as spiced, musky and the problem is that prominent ambroxan note which I don’t much like. I do not list it; it has a clear feeling for me. Since it is so minimal I should try it more without interference, but anyway, a proper NEXT for me, hehe.
What a poor fragrance, to be honest you expect much from it. Its bottle and image are top to smell similar to Carolina Herrera’s 212, just a little less sweet, at such a high price. I was let down; the longevity was not good. At that price there are excellent fragrances and better ones from the Armani house.
A fresh, clean, slightly floral, embracing and delicious essence. What a pity that after five minutes there is no trail and it is only detectable close to the skin, lasting about two hours. I think it is the fragrance with the poorest performance I have tried. What a pity because the bottle is gorgeous and the scent a delight, but paying for something that evaporates in minutes is unfair; there are better options.
A rich fragrance with a familiar scent and a repeated accord found in several aquatic scents: you take one away, put another on, and this comes out. Here I mixed 50% 212 Aqua and 50% Aqva pour Homme Atlantique and this resulted.

Glacial Essence is clean and pleasant but leaves me indifferent. A bit ordinary for such a beautiful name; you expect mint or a sensation of ice, though I don’t think it is worth the price. Moderate or weak longevity.

Every reviewer criticises that it doesn’t last, doesn’t project, and is forgettable… I bought it solely for the line and for my collection… but when I applied it to the back of my hand, ¡puuuuuf, what a beast, gentlemen! It lasted nearly 12 hours. Impressive, and that despite my crocodile skin being an unmissable fragrance magnet.

A very good perfume, almost the best of the blue fragrances I know. Good longevity, moderate projection. A distinct scent, I can’t place it, perhaps due to the juniper berries. The dry-down is top-notch. I would buy it again without hesitation. I had read that other Bulgari scents, such as Black, didn’t last, but on my skin this one does, and more than enough. Best regards.
Spectacular. People talk badly about it, but I love it and it’s my favourite. I already need another bottle; it will be the only one I repeat.

I don’t understand why it’s so undervalued. Unlike others in its price range, this one actually smells like perfume with fine ingredients. We look for that and few offer it. It might smell a bit generic, but for the good olfactometer, it’s a complex and balanced jewel where no single ingredient stands out. I don’t discard it for my signature scent because it has personality and isn’t overbearing. It’s sophisticated and clean, something you’ll never see matched in decent clones. Very hard to clone. One of those perfumes where you immediately recognise the original. 9.5/10, undervalued.

Hello! Good perfume, rich and quite long-lasting. When I use it again, I love it. I don’t see much resemblance to 212, although both are fougères. I use several different perfumes every day so I don’t smell the same as the person behind me in line. I don’t keep anything for special occasions. Best regards.
I find it a fresh herbal aromatic, similar to 212 but with citrus mixed with woods. It’s for casual wear. It’s rare that it doesn’t last more than 4 hours on my skin, but on my watch strap it lasted about 6 days. I recommend it if you’re looking for something safe in the fruity aromatic category.

I tried this at the airport a year ago and added it to my shopping list immediately. Finally, I found a nearly full 2020 batch bottle for 60 Canadian dollars. On my skin, it lasts about 8 hours, which is incredible considering the oxidation. The scent is very easy to wear, a perfect balance between aromatic and woody without being heavy. It feels fresh, almost citrusy, ideal for everyday wear or the office. It’s not groundbreaking and could be forgettable, but it’s clean, masculine, and the bottle is elegant and understated.
