  Truth be told, it’s a rich floral, something I rarely enjoy, but this one smells clean and crisp, leaning slightly masculine, ideal for fresh days. The projection is good at first, then fades, but the longevity on clothes is incredible, almost like all Emporio Armani fragrances; it lasted on my t-shirt for a week. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you’re looking for something unburnt and unique, as I doubt anyone else uses it or finds a similar scent. I personally recommend the Discovery set from Emporio Armani, which includes this fragrance plus three others in 30ml bottles. It’s excellent value for money and a great way to decide if you like the full-sized version.

  Lately, I’ve ventured into the world of unisex and floral fragrances. Buying blind is already risky, but in these categories, it’s even more so, so never buy without knowing the scents you’ll encounter. I grabbed the Discovery set because I own Stallion and loved it. This particular fragrance feels serious and unisex, yet with an air of formality; I’m not sure it’s the best choice for a 26-year-old—there are better options—but it didn’t put me off, nor did I adore it. There’s a strong floral and earthy presence from the first spray right through to clothes. I don’t know much about projection and longevity yet as it’s my first time using it, but I’ll let the four in the set macerate to see how they evolve with oxygen. It’s best worn subtly; if you don’t want to overwhelm those around you, be careful in open or enclosed spaces. We often think we don’t smell of perfume and overapply to make it last longer, but remember that the nose gets accustomed to the scent; in enclosed spaces, just a couple of sprays are enough.

As for projection, it’s good for the first few hours before diminishing, but the longevity on clothes is impressive (almost true for all Emporio Armani scents). The scent lasted on my t-shirt for a week. Would I recommend it? Well, yes, if you’re seeking an unburnt fragrance, because I truly don’t think anyone else uses it or finds something similar. Personally, I recommend buying the Discovery set from Emporio Armani, as it comes with this fragrance along with three others from the same brand in 30ml presentations, which is genuinely good value and a smart way to decide if you want the standard size.
