Armaf doesn’t fail with its similar creations. Italiano Uomo is for elegant men and promising young men. The important thing is its longevity on the skin; it lasts a long time and smells rich. I wouldn’t link it to another fragrance due to cloning. It’s good value and has a powerful, rasping opening that challenges whoever smells it. Truly good and can be worn at any time.
Like Shades Blue and Tag Him, it has the same final stage. They say they are clones of Bleu de Chanel (which I’ve never heard of), but in my opinion, in Italiano Uomo the leather predominates, in Shades Blue the pepper, and in Tag Him the wet herbs. Here, the violet adds elegance and smells of skin with a medium animal touch. Good work from Armaf, although I don’t love it.
I bought it and am testing it today. I loved it with four sprays: moderate trail. Citrus and fruity opening, after two hours it’s soft and a bit spicy, perhaps due to the pepper. I don’t sense much leather; what stands out most is the violet, which gives it an elegant and formal touch. I think it suits all types of weather and I’ve really liked it; it will stay in my collection.
Smells of leather even though it’s not declared. The blend of leather, citrus, and violet gives an elegant and powerful result that makes a statement. It reminds me of Rasasi’s Yuqawam, but here the raspberry is replaced by bergamot. Another great fragrance from Armaf.
Elegant and sophisticated; as it dries, a clean, soft leather note emerges.
Elegant and sophisticated. Once it dries down, clean and soft leather takes over.
Despite the name, I see it as more unisex with feminine nuances. It reminds me a lot of the Armani Code line and its derivatives. It doesn’t feel the same as Tuscan Leather, at least not at the start. I need to keep testing it to see how it evolves. The longevity and projection are good, as is usually the case with the brand.
Initially, it smells of citrus and basil, but soon turns into a rough, synthetic leather that doesn’t convince me within the first 30 minutes. If you can stick with it, it lingers on the skin, slightly sweet with a hint of violet. I wouldn’t use it often as it projects so much, and be warned, this isn’t a blind buy.
